This isn't the best mexican food I've had, so it's getting two stars from me. As a mexican food lover, trust me, this isn't what you want. I ordered an Horchata, Strawberry juice, and two tortas (carnitas & ribeye). Honestly speaking, I would totally go back for just the strawberry juice because it was delicious, low on sugar, and I kept asking for more. The horchata was the same -- delicious. However, on the actual food, I was feeling rather melancholic. I literally live like 2 mins away from the food truck and when I got home the whole torta was soggy. Felt like it was dipped in water and when I ordered they made the torta for me. That made my visit here pretty somber because I was so hype for my tortas, but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles. Their tacos are one of my favorites in Tampa Bay. When I saw their food truck was going to be at the opening of Riverfront park, I knew immediately that I was going to eat there. I got to try them at the Yelper Party, but I needed to experience them in their element. The line was long, but they moved pretty fast. Unfortunately they were out of corn tortillas and were making more when I got to the front of the line, so I opted for flour instead of waiting. I've been eating A LOT of tacos in the past couple of weeks. Once I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes I needed to find a meal that consisted of the perfect amount of carbs and protein. It turns out two tacos is exactly what my body needs. (At Loli's I ordered three tacos, don't judge me but my blood sugar did almost hit the highest of the range I'm supposed to be in, so I've scaled back to two). I got a shrimp, a ribeye, and a cow tongue. Cow tongue might make you pause, but it is the most delicious meat I ate out of the three, and the other two weren't slobs. I promptly decided next time I will only order cow tongue until I looked up the nutritional aspect of the meat. Don't be me, don't look it up. I love fatty meats so I loved the cow tongue. All three meats were exceptional. Like I said, I've been eating many tacos and this surpasses all of them by far. If you see the Loli's food truck rolling up anywhere, do yourself a favor and stop to try it. Heck, I'd be tempted to follow it to its final destination if I see it driving down the street. Tortillas made from scratch. Tried the Ribeye (Asada), Carnitas and Al Pastor. All were good, the Al Pastor imo was the best, but I wish the pineapple was charred on the grill too. They don't have any burritos but you'll be happy with their tacos, quesadillas, sopes and tortas. I'd def go back. Their sauces were on point, green (verde) was my fav. The most flavor imo... I lived briefly in McAllen TX, where "tex-mex" literally becomes "Mex." As a gringo minority, I learned to appreciate the finer local cuisine with the help of some local guides, who instilled in me a real appreciation for both the art of the taco, and the art of the tortilla. To the traditional U.S. palate, a bread choice makes or breaks a meal based on the type, quality, and freshness of the bread. Tortillas work that way too, and they are not all created alike. What I'm getting to here is that I have only, to date, found two artists serving superb Mex street food on real, tasty, fresh tortillas. One in Wimauma, and ... Lolis. Had four different tacos between two of us and shared - - All wonderful. All different blends of proteins (or not), herbs, veggies, cheeses and sauces. All between flavorful tortillas and side tortilla chips conveying warm, fresh textures that for tortillas, is the same thrill as sampling fresh-baked bread - - just a real pleasure to experience. Our company reserved this food truck for a appreciation event for our workers and paid a size-able deposit well in advance. The food truck never showed up and nobody bothered to call us and when we tried calling they wouldn't answer and even blocked our calls. We had over 50 people waiting for a food truck that never showed up. We had to scramble and send for pizza, wings and sandwiches from Publix. Loli's Mexican Cravings food Truck is hard to miss, colored with neon pink on the top, black on the bottom, and their name in large letters on every side of the truck. After placing our order, our tacos were out in less than 6 minutes! Loli's serves tacos, quesadillas, tortas, sopes, and tomales with your choice of meat including chicken, campechano, carnitas, chorizo, pastor, ribeye, vegetarian, shrimp, and lengua. Loli's is priced very reasonably with tacos for $2-$4, tamales for $3, sopes for $4, tortas for $8-$10, and quesadillas for $8-$10. I got the al pastor tacos and they came with sautéed onions, pineapple, and 2 delicious house-made spicy habanero and guacamole based sauces which really put the deliciousness of the tacos over the top! In the past I've gotten the Campechano, shrimp, and carnitas tacos and those were all very well marinated and spiced as well! My coworkers were raving about their tacos and Quesadillas as well! If you need to find out their schedule of stops, call Loli's phone number or visit their Facebook which is frequently updated. You can also visit the brick and mortar Loli's Mexican Cravings Restaurant off the Veterans expressway, south of Waters, on Benjamin road any time for the same great tasting Mexican options! Although Loli has a brick and mortar location, I recommend ordering to go from there too because the seating area is very small and can get cramped with large crowds during lunch and dinner times. Lolis serves the most authentic tacos I've had in the State of Florida! If you want a delicious satisfying street taco, make Lolis a priority around lunch time. Ahhh Lolis, so yummy. My family and I were at an event and we were happy to see the food truck here. We've been to the restaurant and loved it. Well the truck is just as good! I got 2 tacos, carnitas and pastor. They came out fresh and hot. I love that they gave the salsa on the side. The truck runs efficiently, just the right amount of time to know your food is being made fresh, and not waiting too long. My son who is really picky loved the pastor tacos and my youngest loved the pastor quesadilla. We each got a different style of salsa and it was fun trying the different flavors. The chips are really good too, they season them which makes them unique. read more

This is probably the heart beat of Spanish food. Coming in the door I was very uncomfortable being that I don't like crowded spaces and this was once someone's home. But after my wife and I got a table and began to eat i could relax a bit more and enjoy the flavors of home cooked tamales, ribeye taco and lengua. My wife wanted me to add that it was cooked right and it was not all gamey. This is not a place for the bargain shopper but the service is fast and friendly. Would I come back? Sure. I was so excited to try this food truck after so many people raving it. I got 2 tacos with rib eye, queso, and salsa verde. When I took a bite of it, it didn't taste bad, just wasn't something I'd crave again and again. The tortillas were soggy but that maybe from it being in a to go box. We just ordered Loli's from Uber Eats for the third day in a row. We come from New Mexico and Colorado where there is no shortage of Mexican food, after moving here I was heartbroken when good authentic tacos were hard to find. Loli's fits the bill for this picky taco connoisseur. I seriously cannot get enough of the ribeye tacos! Having them tacos delivered might be the best thing to come out of the quarantine. Before this, I would stalk their Facebook and visit the truck when convenient, now that they're on Uber Eats it's always convenient. Tried this today at an event at HCC Plant City. I got steak, chicken and chorizo tacos. The chicken and steak were great. The chorizo wasn't good but then again I don't like chorizo period so it may be me not them. The tacos are small though but they were free from the school so no complaints. read more

I have ordered from this truck twice, once at the dragon boat races and once at an event at the Don Cesar. Both times I would rate as average. The first time, I waited almost 20 minutes for 1 chicken taco, a chicken quesadilla and chips & salsa. There was only one person in front of me so I was surprised by the long wait. Once I heard my name called for pick up they notified me they were out of chips and salsa. I wish I'd had known that earlier to order something in its place but I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. We took our food and walked to the tables to eat. When we bit into the quesadilla we realized there was nothing in it but cheese. No chicken, no onion. I walked up there and asked for a refund as we didn't want to wait another 20 minutes but they promised it would be up less than 5. I agreed and waited about 5-10 minutes. The chicken taco, though cold when I finally got to eat it from fixing my other order was good. The next day at the event at Don Cesar, our friends really wanted tacos so we decided to give it a second chance! We all ordered beef tacos and they told us we were out. Once again we ordered chicken tacos and we waited about 20 minutes for 4 chicken tacos. The food is good when you finally get it however the hassle of actually getting anything is why I reviewed this truck at 2 stars. read more

I eat at the Loli's restaurant very often but today was my first time eating from their food truck. I was very excited to hear they were coming to my job. I ordered the my regular, 3 tacos Al Pastor, no pineapple for the same price $2.49 each. It was to my surprise, when the tacos were HALF THE SIZE! Very disturbing because they are not cheap to tacos to begin with. I've only paid it because its hard to find authentic tacos in Tampa. So it was very sad to see that they charge the same price for mini version. I will NEVER again order form their truck. read more
