I love the variety of toppings, proteins, and bases there are to choose from. I ordered my bowl with avocado citrus rice, chipotle chicken, and veggies. We also shared chips and queso (so good!). The portion sizes are very generous, which is perfect for leftovers. There is a lot of free street parking around the restaurant along with both indoor and outdoor seating. All I have to say is wow. I got the original margarita and the dirty burrito. The margarita, phenomenal, not too strong, just right. The burrito was so so so good, I got the Mexican rice and grilled steak to go on it. The rice was so great, the steak was excellent, not tough, great flavor. I always like to try something I really liked twice so headed back to Taco Dirty after reading other reviews. They did not disappoint! The ingredients were fresh and replenished regularly. But I had double cacao cilantro noodles, Buffalo Avo broccoli and yams. Citrus chipotle & fried chicken, with Buffalo avocado sauce. My goodness! The heat was delicious, the portion ample (leftovers). I highly recommend you try this combo yourself. Now the downside. It's not going to change my 5 stars but it needs to be noted. Melissa for my to-go order was a little slow. They said two minutes and it was more like ten. While I waited, I went to pour my drink, selecting the strawberry kiwi and it tasted like water, not even fruit flavored water. In fact all of the juices were watery. The chicken was diced very small and there may have been a spoonful or two of it - SCANT. I love pickled red onions but these were some of the worst I've ever tasted. And since many toppings aren't offered without an additional cost despite the very TINY amount they give you, it's more costly THAN IT SHOULD BE to experiment with a flavor profile you might like. Parking lot is really only for small cars, just a heads up. I missed the "compact" signage and had to do some fancy maneuvering in my Toyota Rav 4 trying to leave while it was busy. For a Thursday evening, there was hardly anyone sitting inside but the line was so busy with to-go orders, UberEats and DoorDash drivers, and people popping in and out. We had our choice of seats, which they have barstool high tops, regular height tables, and outdoor picnic table high tops. The line moved fairly quickly, but it was staggered - they'd take an in-person order, then prep like 2-3 to-go orders before getting back to the person in line, even if was clearly multiple people on the same order/ticket. As for ordering, think of Chipotle meets Fresh Kitchen; the options are varied so people who are vegetarian have something, people who like sweet have something, people who like spice have something, etc. I went sweet with my options: brown rice, sweet potato blend, pineapple chicken, cojita cheese, and pico.
