I usually order the chicken tacos, and they're always incredibly fresh and consistently delicious. The sauces are especially flavorful and really elevate the dish. Today, my husband ordered the El Ranchero chicken, and all the flavors came together beautifully--rich, well-balanced, and very satisfying. This place is clearly popular, and it's easy to see why. Both the food and the service are consistently top-notch. On several visits, a manager has personally come by our table to check in and make sure everything is to our liking. That level of care really stands out and keeps us coming back. A must-visit on the Eastside!

However, the thought of going to Taco Bell or McDonald's for the 5th time in a row had me feeling queasy. Luckily, I found this place in an assuming plaza off of 140th that I was surprised to see quite a few people at so late at night. I ordered the carnitas plate and tacos and was pleasantly surprised at the portion size and flavors. I'd highly recommend mixing up your meat orders and going for the taco special. Overall, a cozy diner that has a relatively simple menu, but comfort food. On weekends, even after the bars have all closed and your mother has locked you out of the house because it's past 2 am, you can count on this place to have some good street style Mexican food.

I don't often get any Mexican food on the Eastside since I just haven't found a good one yet. And sadly, I have to admit that I still have not found any worth the drive across the lake. I ordered one of their burritos, hefty pricing but that's what you'd expect on this side of town. Not the heftiest burrito though for its price, but filling enough. Taste wise it was as a Yelp 3 Star describes, "OK". I've had a lot of Mexican food across the whole West Coast, and this one isn't any special. But of course I will have to try again another day.

The carnitas was my favorite out of the three tacos, lots of flavor! It had a touch of bitterness to it but my favorite overall, 4/5 The birria was good but was not as flavorful as I'd expected and the meat itself was a little dry, 3/5 The carne asada felt similar, yummy but also a it dry, 3/5. I haven't had a ton of horchata but I thought it was delicious. It was a balanced sweet and spiced, 5/5. I could see it being a little too sweet for some people but I personally loved it The godfather burrito wasn't anything too special, but the ingredients all felt high quality, 3.5/5 I love a chunky guacamole and this was quite smooth. It lacked flavor other than avocado but was clearly fresh, 2/5

They were like 7 1/2 dollars a piece now but what really surprised me was they are about half the size as before! These things used to be the size of small dachshunds and now for 7 1/2 dollars for a special burrito they are much smaller. Admitted I grabbed the bag. I was like wait a second. ..I thought maybe she made a mistake so I called the restaurant and she said that regarding the breakfast specials these are no longer jumbo burritos and said that they changed and went to a normal size burrito ...so not sure we're gonna go back ...Pretty odd that you change from a super sized jumbo burrito which we had had probably eight times before to something half the size (for the same price will actually for more because they used to be $5.24 )I'll even include a photo but they're still really good people and a great restaurant chain. Just the breakfast Special burritos is no longer what it used to be. Because it's a 'breakfast special' only for a limited time in the morning if I were them, I would've kept it as a jumbo. You don't start changing things on people. It's like going to Domino's to get a large pizza and they give you a medium. And it's not because eggs are expensive anymore. They're almost back to their normal prices.

They were closed so just parked there. They had a nice covered seating area outside with christmas lights on it. I didn't see any Al Pastor so got a couple of the following meats: Cabeza (5): this is my favorite taco meat. very tender as usual with great flavor. Hard to get this one wrong and they did a good job. Asada (4): Fairly moist but still good flavor. Carnitas (4): Not too crispy, very greasy but still good flavor. They were all small street style tacos. All came with onion, cilantro, radish, and a couple jalapeno slices. 6 tacos were about $20. They gave roja and verde salsas. Both were decent. Overall, this tamed my taco craving. I wouldn't go out my way to come back, but if I were in the area, I'd hit it up again.

Glad that your order comes out fast, and they're a bunch of friendly guys in a truck. I love that the seating area is covered, and the tables and chairs are kept clean (thank you guys!) I will drive through a dessert for these tacos. I will climb a mountain for these tacos, and I hate hiking. I will be back for more items on their menu, because this flavor is exceptional.

I ordered the Tijuana Burrito with chicken. It is supposed to come with rice, cilantro, onions, lettuce, cheese and beans. Unfortunately, it was almost all rice and really bland. There was just one bite of chicken, almost none of their homemade beans and some lettuce. Then they did not seem to have any cheese, but did have some sour cream (maybe they ran out of cheese, but should have told people). The burrito was $19 and no excuse to pack it full of rice. This was really disappointing, the food vendors here are usually excellent (my wife was smarter and had a sandwich from Purple and loved it). Perhaps the tacos or Baja Bowl are better.

It's parked in a lot that's within walking distance of my site and I imagine quite a few other places as when I would look out the window, I'd see a few people ordering each time. I decided to go with the "Street tacos" - It comes with not 3 but 4 tacos, on corn tortillas (instant points for this) and the usual other accompaniments - radish, onion, sauce. I got the 2 asada and 2 Soy chorizo as you can mix and match. The asada was good, not the best I've had when it comes to tacos and the seasoning I've had with comparable tacos, but the soy chorizo was really good. Very impressive flavor. It was about $16 I believe so about $4 a taco, not the most egregious I've seen in pricing, but decent. I also got bag of tortilla chips free, but they did give any salsa. The ones included for the tacos also were pretty small. That all said the food is decent and if you're looking for some food truck tacos and see Isidros, they'll do the trick.
