Taco Bell is my fast food indulgence. My entire family loves it, we all have our personal favorites. Mine is chalupa and being vegetarian I can't be more thankful for black bean chalupa! My family favorites are quesarito and beefy 5 layer burrito. This particular location has THE BEST staff! The guy at drive thru was so friendly and courteous, you can see that thru his mask. This location has no clue what they are doing. The last two times I've gone, I submitted a mobile order. Both times we were missing several items (on average, an order with 30 items was missing about 8 items). It's like they literally don't care. They just throw some stuff in the bag and hope you don't care enough to come back. Speaking of throwing stuff in a bag, we ordered 5 of the $5 boxes and they didn't put any of the items in boxes or organize them in any way. They just tossed a bunch of random food in the bag. Half of the included food was made wrong and had ingredients that were supposed to be left out. The second time we ordered, it was missing many items, the included ones were stale, cold, or made wrong. Apparently 'no tomatoes' actually means extra tomatoes. Good to know. The $5 boxes were in boxes this time, but not the right boxes. Just scattered random food, made wrong, put into random boxes. Why did I try a second time? Stopped in for a quick 12 pack of soft tacos. There were not very many people in the restaurant at the time I arrived. I had one couple in front of me who had just placed their order. After ordering my supply of soft tacos, my order arrived approximately 10 minutes later. Because I had to wait, the very nice girl at the counter threw in an extra soft taco. Get new management. This place has sucked for years and nothings changing. They never open when their hours say they do, they are rude when they get your order wrong and you bring it up to them. After specifically checking the hours posted to Taco Bell's website and seeing the location at 837 Turf Farm Rd. Payson, UT was open until 11pm we decided to stop by for a quick late snack/dinner (Fourth meal?). However when we arrived the signs stated they had closed at 10pm. It's irritating to check ahead of time and receive wrong information. Luckily for us the Wendy's in the area is open until 1am. WE ENDED UP WAITING A FULL HALF HOUR FOR OUR ORDER. This was probably the most comically inept fast food place I have ever seen. My family and I were traveling out west earlier this month and happened to stop here in the midst of a 500-mile journey that day. Several cars in the drive-thru line, so we went in (needed a restroom break anyway). Inside, there were maybe two families ahead of us--otherwise, the place was deserted. Our order was simple--a few bean burritos and a Freeze (except that their Freeze machine wasn't working, so just the burritos, thanks). Guy in front of us was also traveling long distance with his family, too, and getting increasingly frustrated. Why? Because they were taking a ridiculous amount of time with his order as well. He wasn't even really being a jerk about it--just wondering what was going on. A Door Dash driver came in after us, and when they said his order wouldn't be ready for a while, he left with no complaint to make other runs and said he'd be back. Fifteen minutes or so later he returned... his order still wasn't ready. There were two people preparing the food with absolutely no sense of urgency, and one guy taking orders and looking like a deer in headlights. One of the guys preparing food just smirked at the impatient customers whenever someone asked about their food. I was a fool to wait, of course, but I got caught in an "it'll be any minute" mental limbo, and we were heading into an area where options would be limited. I love Taco Bell a lot and I'm almost there every week! I thought I would pick up some Taco Bell while I was down in Payson so I went through the drive thu and it took FOREVER! There was only 2 cars ahead of me. When I eventually got my food I opened up my quesadilla to find absolutely no cheese or chicken. Basically just a tortilla folded up and fried. I came back to this Taco Bell for a quick lunch. This store can be hot or cold. I think part of that is they probably have a high turn over in staff. It's fairly common in the industry. This last visit was very positive. I've always been a big fan of the burrito supreme. They certainly have shrunk over the years, but they still have the right combination of flavors that keep me coming back. Whoever is running the kitchen, is doing a bang up job. My taco supreme was filled to the top and was delicious. My only complaint is the taco shells have gotten thinner and they shatter while your eating the taco. If I wanted to eat something along the lines of nachos.....I would have ordered them. You just have to make sure you get a spork or spoon with your order. About a month ago, I went here and ordered the best thing ever but the sauce was too hot. Then I went to the bathroom and the toilets were clogged and before I could say anything while storming to the counter, a customer said "tacos are stupid" and that made my day. I've never in my life filled out a poor review for any establishment. I went through the drive through anticipating a wait time as I have been to this particular Taco Bell previously and they are slow. What I got was a snails pace. When we finally got to place the order I had asked if they had empanadas ready to be answered with an affirmative. Over five minutes later we make it to the pickup window. They tell us it would be an additional 5 minutes if we wanted what we ordered over 5 minutes ago. We ask them to swap out the empanadas for cinnamon cream cheese balls. 10 minutes later they come out with what we ordered. As we drive away we find that they gave us 1/2 of the cinnamon balls and did not place a drop of sour cream on my 5 layer burritos. I will not return. read more

We tried to order a combo Burrito or a meat, bean & cheese burrito & they would not make it. I use to work at Taco Bell many years ago so I know it is not hard to put beef on a bean burrito. I am absolutely disgusted with this place. Not only was the restaurant dirty, but my husband and I waited 30 minutes for a couple of burritos and nachos. 30 MINUTES!! When we approached the counter, the cashier gave us a "free taco". And said that's the best he can do. The manager was sitting in the office, which we could see, and was eating pizza while the 4 workers that were there were goofing off and slapping each other with gloved hands and then touching people's food!! When we asked for our money back, the manager kept saying they were short staffed and 2 of the people working were training. I'm sorry, but you never tell customers that. That's a sorry excuse for the manager to be lazy. He should have been out helping instead eating pizza and talking on the phone "trying to call people in to help". It's bull! I have never in my life been so angry. All I wanted was some dinner after being on my feet at work for over 13 hours. Instead, we ended up going somewhere else. Angry and extremely disappointed. I will never go back to that Taco Bell again. I would rather drive down the freeway a few extra miles and go to Del Taco where customers are treated with respect, the food is done in a reasonable amount of time, and it's clean, and the orders are correct. My first review was a five star....until I noticed two mistakes . What a clean and efficient Taco Bell! Our order was large with a couple complicated changes (some add sour cream, some no sauce, some extra sauce...) And, when we picked it all up at the drive thru, I thought our order was spot on! This place is fine if you don't have any dietary restrictions and you ONLY order what is on the menu with no substitutions. If you make substitutions or get it "fresco style" which removes dairy IT WILL BE WRONG EVERY F****ng time!! Even if you stand by the counter and watch them make it and tell them they are about to make a mistake they will make it wrong, then throw it away and start over.
