This is kind of a mixed review because the food was pretty good, but the ambiance felt really cold, dark and uninviting. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly by the host. There were only a few other people in the restaurant, which was a bit surprising for a weekend at dinner time. Our waiter came over and got our order fairly quickly. I ordered steak fajitas and my wife got the beef flautas. The food was good and the presentation was spot on. Our waiter was pretty decent, I could have used a refill of my beverage a little quicker. The restaurant itself was very dark and not the usual bright and festive, like many other Mexican restaurants. I feel like they need to turn on more lights and maybe liven the place up a bit. Overall, I give the food a 4 out of 5. Service was a 3.5 and the ambiance was a 2 out of 5. We will definitely give them a second shot, hopefully they will liven up a bit.

I got the chicken tacos and 8oz side of rice and beans. Their menu read confusing, as they didn't have prices on the different meats, and tacos ranged from $2.99-$3.99 so I wasn't even sure how much my tacos would come to. I also thought it was 8oz combined of rice & beans for like $2.99 but I believe it rang up as individual 8oz containers. My total for the plate (3 tacos) & sides came to ~$16 without a tip or drink. The chicken tacos were SO bland. I tried adding more lime, the grilled onions, radishes, both the red and green salsas, and even rice and beans but nothing could rescue the flat flavor of nothingness every time I bit into my tacos. My red salsa that came with my plate was genuinely lame, it had hints of Tabasco sauce? Like they were trying to make it so spicy without any actual depth or flavor. I expected more from this place. I did try my friends steak from his taco and it was a bit more flavorful, so perhaps I got the wrong meat. Their employees were very nice and service wasn't too long, restaurant clean but limited seating! I would only return here to try the California burrito. I can find similar prices and great quality elsewhere.

The service was very attentive and we had no trouble getting our party of 6 fed. They were also very accommodating since we had two kiddos with us and sat them right next to us at their own table. Since they're 10 they were treated with respect and serviced just like our adult table. That was a very nice touch. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the trio dip as a start ( the group delved in before a pic!) but the guac was fresh and the queso was the right amount of spice. We each ordered a unique entree. I went with the steak fajitas and as expected it came out on a sizzling hot plate with plenty of fixin's on the side. I had enough for leftovers the next day and it was just as good! Everyone enjoyed their dishes and raved on the flavor and freshness. You've got lots of options!

Corn chips are thick, crispy and a bit too hard. $53.19 The hot salsa is bad, better mixed with the house salsa. The guacamole doesn't have a ton of flavor, just creamy, still ok. The flautas are small, 4 small ones with the dinner. I asked for beans only and on the side, got beans covered with cheese. I had asked the waitress about the order being wrong. She looked agitated. She went to take my plate away. I said not to bother, I don't trust her to not spit in my food, she looked like she wanted to hurt me. The tostadas is covered with too much iceberg. The chicken quesadillas are thin and subpar. Meal was average. The service left a lot to be desired for me.

It has a very simple but inviting atmosphere. The food smells good right as you walk in. It's very welcoming. We were greeted fairly quickly by our waiter who asked us if we wanted drinks I went with a rainbow margarita as that looked interesting. The drinks took probably 5 to 8 minutes. They brought out the chips and salsa pretty quick. The drinks came out. The margarita was ok for me. There were too many flavors that just didn't seem to go together. I would've preferred a standard margarita. It was ok not bad, but I wouldn't order it again. We placed our order for food. I went with the combination, dinner number 13, taco burrito and Chalupa. And we got a side of rice and beans. My wife ordered the vegetable fajita although the waiter told us ahead of time that the food was going to take a while as they were busy. It seemed like it came out in 5-8 minutes. It was fast. Chips and salsa are always good so those were fine. They gave us a couple of different salsa options which were good. For my food. The beef taco was really good. That was probably my favorite part of the meal. The burrito was chicken and was pretty good. Chalupa was not what I thought it was going to be basically it's a thin tortilla with a bunch of toppings piled on top of it that you just basically eat off of it with a fork. You can't pick it up and hold it as it's too heavy and the tortilla sits in sauce and other sides that then make it fall apart. My wife said her vegetable fajita was pretty good as well. The beans and rice were very average, not much flavor. Overall, the meal was decent nothing great nothing terrible just good. We may come back sometime as it is a nice place, the ambience is nice and the staff was great. But the food was nothing special aside from the beef taco that was delicious.
