Burrito and Enchilada Special

Ordered carryout. Was 10mins late #1...... soggy hard shell tacos ... everything tasted like frozen chicken... flavorless and bland. Super let down. Might as well go to taco bell. Wont be back. This is the 4th visit ish since they opened progressively worse each time. Real shame. Food was just mediocre and the chalupa was like a pile of random ingredients.

This is by far the best Mexican food in the area without a doubt. One of my favorites is the Quesabirria but honestly everything we've tried is amazing and so fresh! The staff is friendly and quick.

I've ate here three times now and every single time the food is amazing and the service is above and beyond. The servers are all on top of it, make great recommendations, are super friendly and are always checking on you. Each time I've ordered something different and there's not been one thing that wasn't delicious. It's very much a traditional Mexican food joint set up and it's just perfect for when you have a hankering for that good Mexican food.

Excellent spot for some Mexican food. Stumbled on this place…read morethis morning looking for a solo breakfast. Came in and was greeted by a waitress who was nice and attentive. She gave me some chips and delicious salsa as I waited for my order. I ordered 3 tacos (tinga, carnitas, asada) and rice. The asada probably was my favorite of all the meats. Not that the others were good, I was probably feeling asada more today. The meat for all was tender and well seasoned. Rice was good too. This spot isn't too big on the inside, but has seating. Carry out might be best if you have a bigger party. Will definitely come back here again!

I've been on a Mexican food kick lately, and I remembered reading about Taqueria La Casita. I was…read moreactually out in Livonia, heading to a diferent Mexican place, but when I got there, it not only looked closed, but it looked like it was mostly a carry-out place. So, I decided to drive all the way out here because I have learned that trying to satisfy a craving with something different than what I really want doesn't work. It was an odd time -- about 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon -- when I arrived. The place is small, but it is very cheerfully decorated. The server was very friendly and helpful. He brought a basket of homemade chips and salsa as I sat down. After looking at all the options, I decided to be boring and I got the taco salad. It was very good, but as I was eating, I remembered seeing fried ice cream on their menu. I asked if they had it & he said absolutely. So, I stopped eating my entree & took it (and the chips) home and had the fried ice cream. It was SOOO worth it. they really did lightly batter the ice cream and fry it. (Unlike many place that don't actually do that.) It was served in a slightly sweet, lightly cinnamoned tortilla and topped with some chocolate sauce, whipped cream and maraschino cherries. If I lived closer & it hadn't been so hot outside, I may have ordered another one to take home!

I never see myself returning here for tacos, however they have a…read moremeat market in the store where you can buy fresh meats and bulk salsa, guac, chips etc that is pretty cool! I got the chicken tacos and 8oz side of rice and beans. Their menu read confusing, as they didn't have prices on the different meats, and tacos ranged from $2.99-$3.99 so I wasn't even sure how much my tacos would come to. I also thought it was 8oz combined of rice & beans for like $2.99 but I believe it rang up as individual 8oz containers. My total for the plate (3 tacos) & sides came to ~$16 without a tip or drink. The chicken tacos were SO bland. I tried adding more lime, the grilled onions, radishes, both the red and green salsas, and even rice and beans but nothing could rescue the flat flavor of nothingness every time I bit into my tacos. My red salsa that came with my plate was genuinely lame, it had hints of Tabasco sauce? Like they were trying to make it so spicy without any actual depth or flavor. I expected more from this place. I did try my friends steak from his taco and it was a bit more flavorful, so perhaps I got the wrong meat. Their employees were very nice and service wasn't too long, restaurant clean but limited seating! I would only return here to try the California burrito. I can find similar prices and great quality elsewhere.

I…read moreordered their Carne Asada (steak) taco which was well made and definately in line with an authentic Mexico Street taco but the star of my meal was the Mongolian Beef taco with its marinated sauce, scallions and cilantro that was over the top good and so different from any other taco's I have ever had. The chips, salsa and guacamole I ordered were good but not to the level of the Mongolian taco. Relative to the restaurant itself, it is kind of tucked away on the side of a small strip mall and not readily visible from the road. You need to be purposely looking for this restaurant to see it , which based on all the good reviews, a lot of people apparently do which means its business is being generated by word of mouth. Nice! Also of note, this is a counter order take out business model with no indoor seating and just two small tables on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant (4 total chairs). Something to keep in mind if you are looking for an indoor dining option. Overall, I believe the more traditional Mexican food options are good at this restaurant but it is the unique/fusion options that make this business stand out from other Mexican restaurants in the area. These unique food twists will be the primary driver of my return visit, which I will definately be doing, to sample some of their other fusion options that they offer. Definately a restaurant to seek out and sample if you are in the Milford area.

Great down-home Mexican food!…read more Tucked away in a small strip mall in New Hudson, is this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. It has authentic mariachi music playing softly, and the decor is done in South of the border flair. It's an authentic down-home mom and pop owned and operated Mexican restaurant, that serves excellent food. I've been dying to get back in to this place and am glad we finally did! The owners are a really nice husband and wife team that actually walk around and thank people for coming in, and try to share a laugh with every person that comes in. They also work as waitstaff, bar and kitchen. They really seem to enjoy what they do, and the food speaks for itself. Pricing was very good per person, generally all under $20 each, and chips and salsa made fresh daily and is served to everyone. They have multiple different flavored margaritas shown as a signature, and serve a bunch of Mexican beer, in addition to standard domestic and regular mixed drinks. We ordered the sizzling combo fajitas and the chimichanga dinner, Both good choices. I highly recommend going here. If you aren't a big Mexican food fan they have steak on the menu, but the atmosphere, attention to guests and the owners directly involved makes this a great place to stop in. They can take large parties also. We've been looking for an authentic (mom's kitchen style) Mexican restaurant since moving from the desert southwest, this is it. Spread the word, they could use the business. We will be back.
