Enchiladas with rice and refried beans
    Cory C.

Hi came here with some friends because of their glowing recommendations. There's quite a bit of seating inside and it was a nice place to enjoy a meal with people and chat. Our waitress kept bringing out new chips and salsa even though the menu said only the first basket was on the house, which was nice! The chips were homemade and I believe the salsa is too. I ordered enchiladas for my entree: there was good flavor in both the beef and chicken. The meat tasted fresh and I appreciated that they used corn tortilla for these. On the downside, the chicken was a little dry. I also would have liked more enchilada sauce on top. It came with refried beans, which were okay. They're not my favorite to begin with, but they were better than other refried beans I've had at other restaurants. It also came with rice: I liked that they had tomato mixed throughout. This is the quintessential Mexican American place. I was on the fence between 3 and 4 stars, but based on my experience, the food overall, and the reasonable prices, I'm rounding up to 4. I'd definitely come back!

This is a neighborhood spot I see alllll the time the time and finally got around to checking out! It's very dark in here but festively decorated. Service was prompt and super friendly. I ordered the nachos madres churros for an appetizer which is pretty much bacon and cheese nachos. My companion and I were trying to figure out why they have churros in the name because nothing is churro about the dish! They were delicious though, super crispy, hot and cheesy. I had to make myself stop eating them so I could eat some of my food . For my entree I got the chicken enchiladas, these were superb. The chicken was seasoned very well and the dish hot and cheesy. The rice and beans that came with the dish were subpar though, especially the beans. They tasted and looked like they came straight out a can...no doctoring up or anything. I also had two strawberry margaritas. We initially requested non-frozen for our first round...and they bought frozen. We drank them though! And they were really good, they tasted like they used real strawberries when making them. Our second round we again ordered non-frozen strawberry margaritas and that's what we got. I was surprised to see they came in a different/smaller glass but man oh man...we did NOT need anything bigger. Those were strong!! They were very good also but tasted like they were made from a premade mix. They also give you one free round of chips and salsa when you sit down but additional ones cost

La Fiesta is a party of satisfying flavors.

Quite possibly the best Mexican food in the world. That's the truth. This is coming from a guy who lived in San Diego for 25 years where there is Mexican food everywhere. I have eaten in Mexico all over the mainland and Baja, eaten in South America and Central America. The ingredients, the recipes, the taste, texture, it is good quality food. Great flavors. Great taste. Wonderful portions. There's a reason they've been in business so long.

I came here the other night with some friends. I know I have been here before, but it was long ago. The place was pretty busy when we got there, but we got seated quickly, which was nice. I have to say many people hype this place up, so when I came here, I was worried I would be disappointed. I ordered Tacos (3 hard shells) and three corn tortillas filled with your choice of seasoned beef or seasoned chicken. Deep fried, then topped with shredded cheese, fresh chopped lettuce, and tomatoes. They also came with Rice and Beans. I have to say they were delicious. The price to portion was a good value; hands down, great food. My only downside is I* think their margaritas are way overpriced. $36 for a half liter; it was a decent margarita but, in my opinion, not worth 36 bucks. Maybe I am spoiled by another place I go to, and I get a Texas Margarita Grand Marne and Patron and Mixer for $9.99 with more than a half liter in a glass. That is my only rub other than that this place is fantastic food and customer service is five stars. I am not sure why this place has a 3-star rating on yelp; I am still giving a 5-star review and think they are overcharging for Margaritas. However, the food is fantastic.

    Taco salad was yummy!

The food, service, and ambiance was great. I had the taco salad (which was loaded with beef). It was seasoned nicely. The server was friendly and professional. The ambiance was pleasant.

We usually go for a good fajita (of any of the flavors, all are delicious) or a monster burrito to share (jam-packed with rice, meat and veggies so enough to share)! Chori queso and fried ice cream usually round out our meal. The staff is amazing. Everyone is so kind and efficient, it really is a treat to go out and support this business. The place is usually pretty packed, but there is a bar for a solo date and huge tables for bigger gatherings as well (I had my 30th birthday here and it was a blast)!

I told the guy I didn't need the rice or beans but he brought it anyway for some reason. My dad wanted his rice and beans, so maybe he was confused. I don't know if our server was new or not. My dad had to ask twice for his Pepsi and I had to ask a second time for the salsa. I requested to go with my tacos. The wait time wasn't long since it was during the week and early enough in the night so that was nice. I'm used to waiting a very long time here. It's always very busy and crowded here. I also asked for a to go queso sauce I told him I didn't need the chips. He totally forgot about that as well and then brought the bill. I was very annoyed that I had to ask a second time and then he wanted to charge $11 for that he insisted that he takes back the bill and adjust it and I said oh you're going to charge me for that even though you already brought the bill and I've had to ask twice okay at this point I was so annoyed but I gave him back the bill anyways so he could adjust for it. I didn't know just the dip was $11. I would have re thought a carry out. I told him I didn't need the chips because we have chips at home. I don't know if they changed their rice recipe but the rice was extremely dry and flavourless. I took a few bites and it was hard to choke down overall I really like this place but I'm really second-guessing even coming back because the taco food truck that's down the street from my house is much better than this at this point and the prices are crazy. I didn't know how much the prices have changed. My dad got a burrito rice and beans. I got three tacos and we got a carryout queso and the bill was almost $60.?!?! this definitely was not exceptional service by any means I am keeping three stars because out of the other experiences I have had here this is just one not so good one usually we have come here and it's been great. My parents have come here a few times in 2025. I used to come here with them in 2024 and before I know they have been open for over 10 years more like 15 years but I don't know what has changed recently.

When I got there, I was a little disappointed to see that it was an order at the counter type of place, but I figured I might as well. So, I started to stand in line to order. One of the owners asked if I was carrying out & I said no, I was planning to eat there. So, he told me to have a seat and he'd serve me. He asked what I wanted to drink and when he said watermelon fresca, I thought that sounded good. Alas, I didn't like it very much. It was too sweet and didn't have much flavor. I suggested to him that maybe lemon or lime would go nicely in it. I did take most of it home, and I think I'll try adding tonic water to it. I ordered an elote on the cob -- something I've only had once before and had been looking for. It was pretty good, although a little salty. I enjoyed it, though. It happened to be Tuesday, and they have $2 street tacos -- really just the meat, some onions and garnish (no cheese) . I chose a chicken, a beef and let him choose a third, and he brough al pastor. I did use some sauce on them, but they were pretty good. I noticed that they have a good amount of traffic; it was 2:00, but people kept coming in. A lot of them seemed to be regular customers. The owners were very friendly and were truly interested in what I liked & didn't like. The prices were pretty reasonable as well. I don't know if I'd make a special trip here again or not, but I'd certainly consider stopping if I'm in the area.

Lots of windows to view the outside world. Prices seemed reasonable for where you are but really got my attention was the food itself Placed our order and the food appeared in a reasonable timeframe. When I tasted my shredded beef burrito I was hooked. It was good. Three burritos covered with cheese (I like mine without the cheese) alongside rice and beans. Beans were pretty good as was the rice but there is no doubt that the burrito took center stage. Drinks are on the lesser side of the equation as there is a cooler with what drinks are available. They do have Mexican soda and carry out. Well that's about it. Close to my home, reasonable prices, good food and friendly staff. Will I go back? Yes and I recommend you give this place a try.

The shredded meats stuffed in massive quantities into non-greasy fried tortilla shells. The shredded beef was my fave, having a real depth with a variety of spices that danced across my tongue. Super moist but in a perfectly crispy shell. Speaking of moist the chicken was fantastic, perfectly seasoned and shredded. I could not begin to finish this massive portion.
