The al pastor had so much flavor- I can honestly say this is the best spot if you're a huge fan of al pastor. The chorizo was a little on the dry side but the salsa helped. The birria tacos were also pretty delicious a little soggy but that's to be expected with how much cheese they put, with big chucks of meat. The horchata reminded me of a churro from Disneyland. It was so refreshing and not too sweet...absolutely perfect! We really wanted to get dessert but were stuffed by the end of our meal. The server was very sweet and checked in on us throughout the meal. We also really enjoyed the decor of the restaurant- very colorful, with a few TVs around the restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

I would have thought they would have loads of fresh jalapeños, given the type of cuisine here. The pickled jalapeño gives the guacamole a very different taste to it. Cheese everywhere. Ugh. All over the taquitos and the chicken tostada too. The chicken in the taquitos are hard as jerky. The rest of the chicken in the taquito is super dry. The bean salad is so-so, has overcooked peas in it, corn, bland beans, red pepper, tomatoes. The chicken fajita is okay, a tad dry, there's some tomatillo or salsa verde in the grilled chicken with the red pepper, green peppers and onions. The small pico that comes with the fajita has good heat, from the fresh jalapeños. The quesadillas have a ton of cheese, not a lot of chicken inside, looks like an after thought. Service was ok. Still, the employees were friendly and the space was well maintained and clean. The food itself falls under the fresh and good, but faint praise is the best I have for it. The tacos were hot and definitely made fresh, but they were also sort of a messy disaster to eat. Lots of filling piled on (with jalapenos seemingly scattered all over the container just because) made for a mess of flavors that confirmed, 'Yes, it was cooked just for you, but no, I don't know what's happening'. I had the Blue Cactus margarita, I highly recommend, and their version of the Stoli Doli, which was very nice. We had a combo plate and a giant chimi. The giant chimi is what I typically get at my favorite place, and this establishment did such a great job, I no longer have to drive out far to get it. It has both chicken and beef, and I love the pickled vegetables on top. I really want to try more drinks and some their desserts and maybe bring the kids next time, they would love it.
