We let it be but then we ordered after we finished our meal and it took them almost longer, the workers were screaming laughing and joking around. They called 2 people who ordered after us and we went up and asked for Jose they said no and mocked my father for getting up and asking because he heard wrong. The main person had attitude through the whole order and somehow after waiting so long they forgot to get the cup for him, once my dad received the cup the male worker slamed it on the counter and walked away. After a disaster of an experience at Chipotle, we had to find quick food before the kids lost their minds. We ended up at this Taco Bell and it couldn't have been better. I'm not sure why it has such bad reviews, but there were 4 happy customers in my family. Food was good, drink machine was running well, and the place was absolutely spotless. This is the Taco Bell at 543 Bridgeport Ave to be clear. As I have found it in the past multiple times over the last year, Taco Bell was closed at 7:15 pm on New Years Eve. I drove into parking lot and all lighting was out. The parking lot lights, the building lights, the menu board, the interior lights and the Taco Bell sign outside were all off. There was noone at the window. As I drove around the building I could see 3 guys standing in the dark at the counter. Two other cars were in the parking lot circling around like i was. When i went home i was pissed so i called and a guy answered. I had to ask 3 times why they were closed, he said we arent closed. I told him i was just there and all the lights were out etc. He said "well we were preoccupied with other stuff" I asked what stuff? He said " like cleaning up and stuff" Admittedly that is when i hung up on him. To the OWNERS: You have a major problem down there and its been like that for at least a year. Multiple unannounced unscheduled closings during busy work jours not to mention on a new years eve. My boyfriend and I went through the drive through to pick up a large order for his family. They forgot 2 items of the order (2 out of 5 bean burritos), and also forgot to add in sauces in the crunch wrap supremes (resulting in a very dry lunch!) I used to enjoy crunchy taco supremes from the Milford, CT location. I got one today, and it was much smaller than I remember, hardly anything to it, and certainly not a 'supreme' anything! It had a decent amount of steak, but not much else, and the crunchy taco crumbled, and didn't taste like I remember. This is my preferred TBell location in the area. The location is convenience, the place is clean, my food is always prepared well, service is quick, and the people are very nice here. The touch screens are easy enough to follow but I think that you should be able to get a printed receipt if you want one. Man this has got to be the nastiest, dirtiest taco bell around. Its always so dirty in there. Wrappers, napkins sauce packets on the floor. The tables are sticky. Just really grouse. The burritos and tacos don't have much in inside of them vs other taco bells. The burritos are rolled up not folded so when you open it everything spills out. Literal idiots working there. The drive-thru line was 7 cars long for starters. Every time I come here they don't have Baja Blast. The guy gave me the wrong size drink at first. This is probably the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to, First we walk and in and wait about 15min just for them to take our order. We were even calling them to take our order but they ignored us. Then a guy came 15min later and took the order. Then we waited another 20min for the order to be ready, while other customers were also mad that they were taking super long. 20 min later we got the order and left quick because we were on our way to New York. Once we start driving we are about to eat the food and it has beef in it, which we cannot eat and I specifically told the guy to sub the beef to bean and it had beef. I would at the height of my taco bell addiction go to this location at least 3-4 times a week getting 2-3 items in a visit. This went on for at least a year. Needless to say I know this location well. I'd say Taco Bell is normally associated with messing up your whole entire order and I can say with confidence that my order was screwed... no rather a bit messed up ONCE and only once of the hundreds and I mean hundreds of times I went there and was resolved with the quickness when brought to their attention. Being a location in the mall their speed is the best I've ever experienced from any Taco Bell location. They are used to the extreme volume of crowds on the weekends so they have a good system in place with fast paced employees. The owner is friendly and organized as well as Matt who is normally working on the register. The food is Taco Bell, you get what you get but it's good for a quick convenient bite to tie you over. From the soggy sandbagged cooler ranch taco ( you just don't premake crunchy tacos.) to the ice cold chalupas with one serving of sliced beef split between 2 and attempted to be masked by a excessive amount of sour cream. So upon asking to have our order remade the charmer of a manger said well those chalupas were just made. I said "feel free to inspect them yourself our receipt is from 3 and a half minutes ago". She said "yup whatever just pull up" 4 minutes later my gf had a bag just about thrown at her followed only by a window slamming shut not a thank you, not a sorry for the inconvenience not a word. My sister and I come to this location very often. We don't have many problems with the food except for the occasional mix up with burritos - (we will order a beef burrito and get a bean one, but when this does happen and we notice it, the employees are nice about fixing it). However the experiences of with the kind employees DO NOT make up for the experiences with the unprofessional ones. When we went inside, there were two employees screaming at each other in front of me, my sister, and two other customers. There was 4 employees sitting at a table not helping. Then, one employee began yelling at her other employee saying that an Uber order was more important than a mobile order, while we were standing 10 feet away waiting for our order. I get to the third and I'm disgusted. Here is a $3.09 taco that is filled with a tow handfuls of lettuce and a spoonful of meat. I can't go into the store because there closed to NOW I have to go to the drive through AGAIN. So to hurry up here The employee tells me to go to the door and nobody comes. So I drive back around the store next to the window and the drive up employee is now yelling at me over the current customers car to re-wait in the line of 5 cars. Which is unbelievable. Myself, no negative self serving opinion, remember this is staffed by people that actually want to be in the work force, providing customer service. It's Taco Bell, not "Ola". Be grateful that you can get a craving fix without leaving your car, and under twenty bucks. For the mature customer, we started working and made mistakes and learned along the way in life.
