I recommend ordering online vs ordering from drive through. Online they have a "build your own craving box " option for $5.99 the exact order at drive through costs $13.66

It's been over a year since my last review so I thought I would give an update. I went for lunch today and my food was exactly how I ordered it, even accommodating my modifications. The staff is friendly and I noticed since the mask mandates have been lifted they aren't using the same protocols they did previously. I was pleasantly surprised to STILL not have to wait in line and by now I've come at all times of afternoon and evening. And bonus, the chips in my nachos were not stale this time. I hope they keep up the good work!

Is not even warm . It's cold . Disappointing

We ordered the Elotes off the cob ($11.99) and the Molcajete ($30) which is grilled fajita steak, chicken, chorizo, shrimp, onions, nopal cactus and cheese. We also ordered one Margarita ($16). We first experienced a Molcajete in a restaurant in Mazatlan, Mexico and fell in love with it and all of its ingredients including the cactus. This Molcajete at Cocina Maya was soooo tasty. Served in an actual Molcajete which is made from lava rock and it holds the heat very very well. We shared this between the two of us and still had a decent amount to bring home with us. The Elotes was very tasty and the corn was nice and firm and it was perfect. Service was friendly and attentive. The dining room is light in colors and there is a lot of light that shines through the windows. This restaurant is a good distance from our home, and well worth the drive to it. We most definitely recommend this tasty restaurant.

It had shrimp, chicken chorizo and steak. It was amazing dish. The flavors combined in your mouth and brought joy to my belly We are definitely going back!

The lemon pepper and garlic Parm are my favorite flavors. Crunch outside and cooled perfectly inside. The tacos are so flavorful and you must get the consomé. It was so good that I came back the very next day and brought my sister and my niece. This time, I ordered tacos and a birria quesadilla (the one that looks like a pizza). They also offer an actual birria pizza, but we went with the quesadilla -- and let me tell you, it was BIG as hell. Everything was seasoned perfectly, tasted amazing, and the presentation was on point. Now, let's talk about the location because you might think you're in the wrong place. When you pull up, it looks like an industrial area -- big parking lot, office buildings, and the place doesn't even look open. The windows are so dark and tinted you can't see inside, the parking lot might be empty, and you'll be questioning everything. Still pull on the door. When you open it, you'll see they're open. It's to-go only, no dine-in seating. The service is friendly, and they'll give recommendations if you ask. You order through a kiosk, and honestly, everything on the menu is good. I've had the tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and even the ramen -- all solid. But let me be VERY clear... My favorite thing on the menu, hands down, is the fried bread pudding. That shit is on another level. Straight up dangerous. I swear I went into a sugar coma after eating it because I passed out immediately after. It's that good. I didn't even wait until after my entrée the second time -- I ordered the dessert first because I already knew what it was giving. No pictures. No regrets. I'll absolutely be back.

Let's be honest. Most of use have driven past and never realized it's a restaurant. The restaurant is clean. The lady working the counter was friendly. Her young daughter was helping her with various task. She was so kind to her daughter when she spoke to her. I knew that my goal of supporting a small business was spot on for the day. I ordered the two taco lunch special. I had the brisket and the Al Pastore tacos. Homemade small corn tortillas, fresh cilantro, onions, garnished with a fresh lime, and some pretty spicy salsas. The rice and beans were very flavorful, and I really appreciated the fact that the beans were still whole versus a purée. Absolutely some very tasty food today for lunch. For $10 you get everything that I have shown in the pictures including the drink. Go support this family and have yourself some tasty tacos .

Great location with decent parking availability as well. Super cozy under the oak tree. I absolutely housed the tacos. They were really good, not typical flavors in my opinion. Maybe like a different regional flavor of the standard al pastor and carnitas that we're used to but really really good. I used to live in LA and these would almost be better than the ones at my LA spot...if Francisco's made their own fresh tortillas. Don't let the tacos sit for long, they get soggy and the tortillas will tear. My new favorite, go-to spot. So sorry to fiesta Mexico in Apopka.
