I am not a fan of Taco Bell...I just don't get it. Over priced wanna be Mexican food. BUT my two young pre-teens wanted Taco Bell. I even offered Rocco's or Capital Grille to get them to change their mind...but they wanted Taco Bell. As we were walking to the entrance the smell of the large trash can, filled to the brim on a hot day stunk like 50 trash trucks was enough to turn me away. We couldn't even sit in the outside patio area bc the smell was just too much. Shame on them for allowing it to get that bad. My Grandkids didn't want me to be a "Karen" and tell the Manager about it. (My Grandkids have me wrapped around their fingers). The counter guy who took our order was nice enough. Very pleasant actually. We realized we didn't order the trio tacos and had to place a second order. Paid more bc he wasn't able to adjust the price. Turns out 6 tacos cost way more than a full meal at a Mexican restaurant...truly ridiculous! After we got our order we needed sour cream...95 cents for a tiny thing of sour cream after we overpaid for 6 tacos. Omg. The cheese for the nachos comes in a small container...can't dip a nacho in it. I paid $28 for 6 tacos and one order of a small bag of nachos and cheese. I have tried three Taco Bell's in the past few weeks with focus on their Breakfast Wraps. While they are generally similar in the quality of those star shaped folded tortillas loaded with egg, sausage, hash browns and special sauce, they are somewhat different peripherally. The Same: 1. All the wraps tasted the same. Consistency of the primary product is important. I liked them all. 2. All the wraps were only lukewarm. They probably sit around a while because they are made in advance and the paper wrap is lightweight without any insulating properties. 3. Although called, "Crispy Wraps," nothing was truly crisp. No doubt the intention was that the hash browns remain crispy edged in the package, but that just wasn't so. 4. All the coffee containers leaked. The Different: 1. While all the order takers were friendly, Sloan Avenue woman asked how I was doing and was willing to interact. The others weren't. 2. The coffee was erratic. I asked for milk/cream, no sugar. I got black, light & sweet and finally the right thing at Sloan. 3. The special sauce in the wrap was sometimes only squirted in one spot, so a certain bite resulted in significantly explosivenesses if I wasn't paying attention. In another, it was spread across the inside of the wrap so the taste was constant and didn't require emergency napkin cleanup. Bottom line. Taco Bell has a good idea with these breakfast wraps. Tasty, filling and inexpensive. Just need a few classes in consistency. read more

Ordered meal for 2 deal price was good but food was nasty no flavor little to no meat in food and it had a weird taste

To start off, I'm a long-time Taco Bell fan. I've been to this location for several visits, and I've frequented other locations in the PA/NJ area. As with almost any fast food chain, you'll notice small differences in quality and service. With this location, my experiences have varied across the board. In terms of the location and building cleanliness, the cafe is almost always clean. Any time that I've eaten inside, there's almost always an employee tidying up around the seating area. The one time that I've used the restroom, it was also in a pretty clean condition, which is rare to see in most fast food locations. I've been a mobile order, drive-thru, and in-store customer before. My experience with the staff has varied, but I'll say the employees here are much friendlier than the average Taco Bell employee at any other location. Wait times at the drive-thru have been long in the past, but that's to be expected from Taco Bell at certain times of day. I don't hold this against the workers, as they've always seemed to be working as fast as possible during these times. My in-store orders have always been ready in about 8 minutes or less, even during busier hours. My gripe with this location is the number of times I've had issues with inaccurate orders. Even worse is that the inaccuracies have happened on mobile orders almost every time. Considering that mobile orders are clearly listed with all customizations from the app, I don't see why these would be the ones having inaccuracies. Some of these inaccuracies have been very inconvenient; one was a full order with meat for a vegetarian friend as well as several other times where I've simply been missing items. Others have been customized orders being made incorrectly. To some extent, I should check my number of items recorded as a customer. However, I also think this is the bare minimum the employees can do, even at a busier hour. Inaccuracies are bad enough, but missing items are simply unacceptable. For whatever reason, many of my order issues have also occurred when the inside has been closed, masking me have to get back in the very long drive-thru lines. These issues haven't occurred during every visit, but they have happened much more frequently than they should. Employees have been fairly accommodating regarding fixing these issues. However, I have had several times where I was given an attitude by a few members when the issue wasn't from me. Overall, this location is OK. I've had both very good and bad experiences. This is to be expected from fast food locations to some extent. However, order accuracy is still pivotal for any fast food location, especially somewhere offering as many customizations at Taco Bell. I hope to see some improvements if I frequent this location again. read more

I haven't been to a Taco Bell in 20 years so why the sudden urge to go? I read a recent article discussing the best chicken nuggets on the US. The authors discuss how Taco Bell is entering the chicken wars with chicken nuggets and how these were some of the best in the US. Well, I was disappointed, the nuggets had way too much breading and I received one large nugget and four tiny nuggets. I should have taken these back for a refund or at least questioned the manager if I was ripped off with my order vs what the picture shows on the menu board. Cleaner but getting your order right seems to be an issue. Finally, after years, writing a review. Always want to give people a chance. The biggest issue is I don't think the employees like sour cream or "supreme" tacos. Pretty much 90% of when we order supreme they give standard tacos. Possibly one of the better taco bells and cleaner but it's a hit or miss. Soda as well. They don't always remember when someone says no ice. Like many others it's all the same Taco Bell's with all the same menus, This is a great area for a taco bell if you plan on leaving sesame Place or mall. And this is another great spot to see the fireworks from sesame on the holidays. And most of the time that is when Taco bell brings in most of its business.... With people packing in getting tacos to see the fireworks. I usally get the the nacho Loco Taco and ranch Loco Taco Definitely some of the favorites. It tastes average, but hey this is a fast food chain and they prepare from what is sent to them. So I need to preface this with a bit of a disclaimer if for some reason you've never been to a Taco Bell: this is a fast food establishment. Is it the highest quality ingredients? Not at all. Is it cheap? Yes. Will it taste like heaven if you go here when the bar closes? Yes. Is a cheesy Gordita crunch as good as the picture? Yeah, actually it is. This particular Taco Bell although it does occasionally seem to get backed up at busy times has exceptional employees. I have not once had a mistake on an order, they are friendly, and they have given me a separate baggie of napkins and a straw every time and will ask if I want any sauces. I appreciate the time and training they have put into having both the experience and food come out consistent. For these reasons this is a go to spot for me when I'm looking to get fast food. read more

7/16/2019: Quality and service seems to have gotten worse with the new renovation. Today, I ordered a couple breakfast skillet bowls at the drive thru window. After handing me my order, the employee walked right away immediately out of view without even checking if everything was okay. I waited for a few minutes to see if she'd see me and come back. Nothing. So I drove around to the drive thru window again. (The first mistake - how is anyone going to be able to tell you if their order was missing something if you just hand them their stuff and walk off where they can't even get your attention?) When I asked for more hot sauce, the employee told me that I wouldn't be allowed to get more than 2 sauces per food item (and to begin with, I had about 5 hot sauces in the bag for 4 skillet bowls, so not even 2 per item as it was). Her name was Tori. She literally said I would NOT be able to. Then, I inquire more about this new policy. (I had been coming here for years and nothing was ever said.) She brings out her manager Jen, who says that they stopped giving more sauces because employees were giving too much, but that I could get more if I asked. She ended up giving me more, but likely just to save face at this point. (If the policy was that you get 2 per item and can ask for more if you need it, why did the employee outright tell me NO?) 11 months ago: Very, very hit or miss, but what do you expect from a Taco Bell? Some days, the food is excellent and it really appears that the employee has put effort into putting together your meal. Other times, you can just expect to lose money when you leave here because something was very clearly done wrong. First and foremost, their ordering system tends to be a problem as employees constantly get items wrong. At the first window, the person who provides your sauces, utensils, straws, and napkins may forget one or more of these things in the midst of taking your payment, so you may need to ask for whatever items you didn't get at first, at the second window. Lastly, the food could either be sealed properly in the container or not closed all the way and fall all over you as you attempt to remove it from the bag, like what happened with my last power menu bowl, and rice, beans, and sour cream spilled all over the bag and my work desk. Attached are also some pictures of some nasty overlooked black beans I got today in my side of black beans and rice. The beans were very hard and I could barely even move them with my spoon. Upon closer inspection, they've been heated so long that they've turned into hard mush. I just threw them out and considered the $1.50 a loss. As long as you get used to expecting this spotty quality from Taco Bell, and this Taco Bell in particular, you won't even be that upset anymore. read more

One night, I went through the drive-thru around midnight, ordered a $5 box, and then when I went to pay I was told my $10 I had just gotten from the Wawa down the street was "fake" and told me that they could call the police on me for it. They also refused to return my $10 yo me because it was "fake" and "it's illegal to distribute fake money" so that night I spent $15 on what was supposed to be just a $5 box. read more

I generally despise fast food places, but this one is actually tolerable. The plastic benched and dirty tables are off putting, but the staff are nice and the food is better than most TBs. If you want actual Mexican, get Cancun down the street. That place is amazing! read more
