Taste: Decent/On par with other Taco Bells. I ordered a cheese quesadilla, cinnamon twist, beefy nacho griller, and crunchy taco. Everything was more or less okay but the griller was disappointing. It had very little in it. It was barely wider than a sauce packet. You can tell by how much overlap there is for the tortilla when wrapped up. Twists are delicious though. I'll still go and maybe order another griller to see if this was just a one time thing but don't be surprised if the griller isn't "loaded." read more

Taco Bell - Fast Food Near Me - Davis, California

TL;DR 1. Good location for passerby's because the restrooms (single room) are clean and service is fast. 2. Food is standard and on par with the usual Taco Bells'. 3. Service is great, but seriously, don't come here around 2am Thursday-Saturday unless you're willing to tolerate a bunch of drunk college students that typically end their bar hopping adventure here (or if you're one of those drunk college students, hehe) 4. Get a Freeze! (Baja blast recommended) Yeah, so I don't think anyone reads reviews for Taco Bell to get a recommendation of their food (which, obviously, should be standard)....so I'm just going to cover their service and location for those passing by Davis looking for some fast food. Their location is kept clean and orderly. They also got a store remodel 2 years ago, so the furniture is quite nice. Bathrooms are also surprisingly clean. Service here is really fast: you can usually order and get your food within 5 minutes, unless it's around 2am Thursday-Saturday, because that's when all the bar crowd gets kicked out (no alcohol allowed to be sold after 2am) and comes here to be super loud and obnoxious. Makes me feel bad for the employees, who are usually very respectful and quick to get your order. Oh, and if you haven't gotten a freeze at Taco Bell yet, YOU NEED TO. They are SO much better than ICEE's, especially the Baja Blast freeze. I hope they never discontinue it, because it's the reason I come by so much... read more

I rarely eat at Taco Bell. I'm sure it's been many years. The lady I was visiting likes it so that is where we went. I must say this location in Davis was a pleasant experience. It is downtown with lots of shopping within walking distance. There is a very small parking lot. The staff was friendly. The dining area was clean. I had a Mexican pizza (4.00). My dining mate had a beefy burrito and a taco (less than $3.). All good! read more

Absolutely horrible experience. The (marissa) child behind counter told me to "get the f... out" after I kindly explained that I was scratching my nose and that is why my mask was below my nose. Worst experience ever. And will this child ever learn? No. She will be rewarded. read more

The food is average, some employees are friendly some are really sad and there's always someone coming in without a mask screaming but that can't really be blamed on the staff. read more

When you walk in for the first time, you may notice a weird smell inside. Other than that, my food comes out hot and ready to eat. I usually get the crunchwrap surpreme or just 2 tacos. If it's a really hot day outside, I like getting the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze (so cold and refreshing!). They have their hot sauces (a LOT of it), napkins, and utensils all in one place for your convenience which is a nice plus. Unfortunately there is no drive thru but there is a small parking lot. You will see some homeless people hanging near the Taco Bell or inside but they usually don't bother you. read more

So it was rush hour and I just back from LA way too tired to drive to the mace location and honestly I should have. This is the worst order I've ever received from any store. There's barely any meat or anything at all and they didn't label everything. read more

The door was locked at 11:25 pm and the workers just stared at us trying to get in. I was thinking uhh what? Since when do they close this early?! We saw a worker on the side of the building and asked if they were closed and he said no. Like... ok??? So we went in through the side door and the workers rolled their eyes and acted incredibly annoyed not to mention one of them said a snarky remark to the cashier about "being thrilled" that more customers were still coming in. We saw multiple other people trying to get in through the front door which they kept locked. It was rude and disrespectful. If you are that miserable working there, find a new job, don't lock people out and act like we're a nuisance. read more

Went here today to get a quick meal and the young kid working the front counter was in to much of a hurry wasnt listening or paying attention to what people had to say. We got our food and quickly left after checking to make sure it was all there. I had ordered bean burritos extra cheese and red sauce and the cheese on the burritos was not melted by the time we got home which is more then 15 minutes away which tells me the beans were not hot to begin with, out of 3 burritos all of them were exactly the same. My girlfriends meal was also not that great here potatoes were over fried til dark brown and hard, which means the staff was not paying attention as the dryers beep when the product is done(I work on these for a living at Taco Bell's in particular. This location has no drive through so that makes it even worse as they were not even remotely busy. Horribly run store. Won't be back. read more

I had a not great experience. I sat down and because there was almost nobody there, the service wasn't terrible. The food, could have had a little bit more meat, and be better quality, but it tasted good... probably a 3.5/5 taste. But then... what I feared... a couple days later, the toilet became my home, and i couldn't stand the saucy texture, or the horrific smell of my dairrhea. no good no bueno. bad. read more

So I went here to get some food. When I got there I ordered two Dorito taco supremes with extra sour cream. When I got my order it had no tomato. So went back and they added tomato. I then took a bite and no extra sour cream and there was a hair in my food. So went back and had the manager remake it. He one didn't add extra sour cream put way to much lettuce then he was arguing with me on what I ordered with?!? They kid at the register messed up and the customer is always right! So I got my money back and went to the taco Bell on mace way better. Don't go to the one on G St. Bad business! read more

Taco Bell is Taco Bell. Well, most of the time. Taco Bell is not Taco Bell when it lacks a drive-thru. The food is tailor made to be consumed when people are under the influence of alcohol/drugs. Not having a drive-thru negates this option. I must deduct a star for this. This location needs to cater to their "true" customers better. read more

The store "closed" at 2am. The employees rudely and inexplicably closed the doors at 1:45, blocking out half our group. Refusing entrance & weren't understanding at all. When I asked the employees about why they weren't letting my friends in, the employee very unapologetically informed me that they "closed" early to get through the line and make sure everyone was out of the lobby by 2. After having work at Starbucks for 2.5 years & 1.5 of those as a manager, I found the staff unfriendly & rude. I was appalled and offended that they were not willing to listen when I was politely trying to figure out why they wouldn't let my friends in. My opinion of what Taco Bell & their customer service stands for has dropped a lot. I wish it could have ended in a pleasant experience, but the staff was not friendly and rude. My food was good but the customer service was lacking. I'm hoping the next time I visit a Taco Bell my experience is better. read more

I ordered the bean burrito and it was the most skimpy burrito i ever had. It was so flat with barely anything inside. I wish i had took a picture. The other taco bell on chiles rd. loads up their food way more. Not to mention the items are overcharged here by a few cents. I dont know what the deal is with this taco bell. read more

Probably the worst taco bell i've been to. My crunchwrap was burnt and had practically nothing in it & was super flat, the taco was completely broken and destroyed, and the cinnamon twists were just spilled all in the bag lol. I love taco bell, but this sucked :( read more

Taco Bell is the ex-boyfriend you text and "hang out" with every time you're wasted. So great in the moment. And then so much regret in the morning. Still love me some nacho supremes, taco supremes, grillers... all of it! I already know that many drunken nights will end here during my time in Davis. I am embracing it. Been eating here since I was a kid and the chihuahua ads were on TV. Yo quiero Taco Bell, guys. read more

I like it here, the staff is friendly and clean. They do their best and I can see it, especially when it's busy. They can be understaffed but they make it work. I think they're decently priced, I come in and get an order totaling near $30 each time thanks to a larger appetite than most and my boyfriend having an even larger one. Overall, positive place and good to sit and relax while eating a Crunchwrap! I absolutely love their strawberry skittles freeze! read more

For the last 2 years my downtown going out experience always includes these events: --Getting the party started at Little Prague -- Ending up at Tres Hermanas, disgusted and questioning humanity -- late night taco bell at this location. The newly remodeled Taco Bell looks surprisingly well. Much better than before. Food is food. There isn't really much to complain or to mention. It does lack a drive thru and the bathroom hand dryers don't really work. However the staff is really nice. When my friend forgot to grab her receipt the guy ran over to hand it to her so she knows what number her order is. So nice! read more

The service here is terrible, I come here because it's close to my work but every time I come in there is nobody at the counter. This last visit I stood at the counter for 10 straight minutes and didn't get to order. Eventually I gave up because I only have so much time before I have to get back to work. This isn't a one time event this happens every time I come in. read more

The people here are too nice, they are really kind and friendly, going out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible.

bad service mannnn. like wtf dudee. employee flipped me off. tacobell has no regard for their customers-- the definition of a corporation. the impersonal attitude of the employees made it hard to enjoy our experience. we were flipped off multiple times after offering good graces to the workers and then having those behind us get service. me and my gay friend go to tacobell for an accepting, fulfilling meal, and instead we were accosted and discriminated against. i can't believe this behavior exists in a 21st century society. tonight, only a couple minutes ago. i was accosted at my neighborhood tacobell. i was walking into the door with my gay friend, minding my own business, attempting to nourish my body. and the worker wagged his finger in my face, he rudely shouted at us and wished us away. and after i had recognized his comments as rude he turned around and lifted his middle finger into my face. i exited the building and continued into my car as an attempt to be the bigger person. i want to make it clear that the tacobell workers actions were not deeply piercing to me. as i recounted the events of the night, i thought it's just another day right. but then i saw his coworkers, fellow women, accept his behavior and allow customers in to order after kicking us out. and that i could not stand for. i could not allow the women i call my friends, and my mother, to witness this disrespect, and witness our tacobell staff accept it as legitimate. i have to prove to my friends and parents that i am their daughter and that they did not raise me to accept abuse from men, and to accept disrespect from corporations as truth. this hints at a broader cultural issue of a cultural acceptance of verbally disrespecting women. i have never been so discouraged. read more

Nearly every table is dirty, service is lackluster(putting it nicely), and my order is consistently messed up. I've actually started a collection of "we messed up" free taco coupons because of how many times my order is incomplete. This place would benefit from a bit of house cleaning, literally and metaphorically. I won't be back until then. read more

Let's start out by saying this is Taco Bell, the food is good, for Taco Bell, but why I really am writing this review is the staff. Most of them are on the young adult side of the spectrum, and some it's there first job. But the crew that is there really make the experience there extra good. I think if your have a choice, this Taco Bell would not be a bad one. read more

My girlfriend and I ordered something from Grubhub here and were notified that our order was confirmed and a driver was being searched for, only for about an hour to go by without an update. We call to inquire about what happened only for them to let us know that they can only cancel our order and refund the money! We have been starving waiting for our food just for this to happen. This is beyond unacceptable and this place will be lucky if I ever decide to order or eat in here ever again. Absolute garbage customer service and communication skills, get it together Taco Bell. read more

The worst Taco Bell I've been to, it's so dirty? The employees charge extra for substituting!? I asked to substitute potatoes for meat as I usually do at other Taco Bell's and they charged me a dollar more. And the store is dirty, the water that came out was yellow from the WATER (no lemonade) dispenser. They don't add nearly as much filling as othe Taco Bell's. I'll definitely never go here again and MAKE SURE that my friends don't go here. Huge homeless problem here too. read more

This place is a party!! After having a popping time at the bars, I followed a herd of college students in hopes that there was an after party somewhere near. It was no house party but there were hellaaaa people in front of this spot. The store was brightly lit up--not like a rave--but maybe more like Disneyland. No joke. Its so colorful !! I met a group of Asians who were extremely friendly. They were 4th year UCD students like me at the time. (This review is two years over due BTW). They were studying biology and one was a Spanish major (Possibly why they were at Taco Bell?? ). I could tell they were as drunk as me. We talked about EDM. they ate some quesadillas and tacos. I watched as they drenched their food in hot sauce.. This place offers 3 kinds of hot sauces! Mild. Hot. And Fiyahh. Unlimited too!! For the free!! Heck yahh #bestdeal One Asian girl, thin and had black hair, offered me her taco. My mom raised me to never take food from strangers... So right before I was going to take it.. My mother senses were tingling. I knew it wasn't the smartest choice to take After the chat, we exchanged goodbyes. They were nice people. Maybe a little arrogant, but nonetheless they were friendly. Again, that girl did offer me her taco. Hopefully she didn't think I was homeless and needed food badly. I am not homeless.. But needing food? Yeah I kinda did but not badly I went to the cashier and orderer a chalupa. They ran out. It was a devastaying kill joy. I opted out for some supreme nachos. 3 stars for running out of food, meeting some etards, and for satisfying my after-party cravings. Love ya TB EDIT: I never saw those Asians again read more

This is a nice Taco Bell (granted the occasional homeless person sleeping inside or hanging out on its G St. steps brings the appeal down) with awesome staff members. The food is a good quantity and they usually do not underfill their items. The staff here is always professional and they all very nice. This is my favorite Taco Bell and I have been going here for a long time! read more

If you're a broke ass college student (but i repeat myself) then I'm sure you probably know what Taco Bell is. It doesn't matter if you're from UCLA, UC Berkely, UC Davis, when you're in college, UC Taco Bell a lot. This place is by no means fine dining and for cheap quality food, Taco Bell never fails to hit the spot. It's the only place where you can walk in with $5 and feel like a millionaire. You cant really go wrong with any of the food here if you just wanna stuff yourself and feel shame after. Its always open late (past midnight) for those late night munchies. read more

I regularly go to Taco Bell after a good night of drinking at Blondies. Usually it has a smaller line and a better selection of food at jack-in-the-box. However, Tonight I ordered a number 9 with a small nachos and I never got the nachos or the taco that came with the meal. It was around closing time so my request to fix the order was unable to go through due to timing and circumstance. I hope taco bell will do the right thing and help me out with the situation. I wish to remain a patron of theirs in the future, if this issue is resolved accordingly. read more

Be warned that this is going to be a total throw away review because it's a fucking taco bell, but I come here a lot (96% of the time drunk) and I live pretty close to it so cool. Speaking of cool, I've been wondering how do I get the 'cool' votes for my reviews?? I have a flock of 'useful' and a surplus of 'funny' but I have a dearth of 'cool'. How do I do guys?? Do I have to don my Ray Ban stunna shades and Fedora by Kevin Federline and listen to Grizzly Bear on a retro jukebox that I carry around on my shoulder???? I don't know!!!! Help me!!!!! I love it when people use a lot of exclamation marks and question marks. Okay, onto the review itself ... it's a taco bell. The staff is okay. There's this one girl who works there who keeps talking to me and telling me the same story. I don't think she realizes that I've heard it a couple times already but I just stand and nod pleasantly and say "oh really?" "that's wild" etc. People hatin' hardxc0re on this place though as I can see by the reviews. It ain't even that bad. It's fairly cheap for the price, especially compared to the other fast food joint in the vicinity (Jack in my Box). I always get the beef potato burrito thing (pro tip substitute the nacho cheese for red sauce and you're going to have a delicious time both while you're eating it and a few hours later while you're on the john, trust me.) I've been coming to this particular Taco Bell for about six years now. The restaurant is clean, the employees are cordial, and I've never had a bad experience here in terms of my interaction with the restaurant itself. Sometimes some homeless people wander in and you also might encounter some obnoxious high schoolers. However, this Taco Bell has never messed up any of my orders so I can't complain. On my most recent visit here I was impressed with how strong and cold their air conditioning is! Last summer I remember the air conditioning was broken for a while, so I'm glad to see it's back and better than before. read more
