I visit Corning on occasions. They have a Taco Bell, I was craving it, so I went and tried out this location. The drive-thru is AI, which is good and bad. If you know what you want, just say it, and the machine will note down your order. But if a technical problem occurs, as was my case, you may need to ask for a team member to take over and help you. One did and helped me fix a mistake the machine couldn't. Food came out after a couple minutes, and it was as expected. Food quality and taste were up to par. But nothing spectacular. This location is your standard Taco Bell. Not bad. Can't speak for ambiance because I didn't go inside. Given that my experience was fine, I would come back here again. read more

Their drive-thru is supposed to be open till 1:00 am. every single day of the week and never once have they been. They are open, but they're unresponsive if you pull up to the speaker box anywhere even close to one a.m.. I've gotten there 30 minutes before they are supposed to close, 10 minutes, 15, 20, at least six different times, and never once have I been able to place an order. Wife and I are staying in corning for 2 weeks while does does work training, and we stopped here to get some good tacos, well they did not disappoint us, the tacos were great and the drive thru staff was very friendly, even the manager stopped by the window to talk about the inside opening, It other business' had staff as friendly and courteous as these folks then alot of business' would start getting 5 stars. the tacos were great and not like other taco bells where ya had a tiny bit of everything, these folks were great. The staff acted like good professional people and not some rude teenagers. We are definitely planning on stopping there again for more tacos for dinner. But one suggestion please, next time put in enough sauces to cover the 24 tacos. :) read more

Taco Bell remains my favorite of the mass produced corporate industrial fast food chains. Why? There are vegetarian items that can be ordered with much less substituting and negotiating than required at its competitors. Unfortunately, I have been unable to sell my husband on Taco Bell's (modest) charms. On a trip recently, I tried to make a Taco Bell convert out of him (with no success). We stopped at the Corning location. Compared to its counterparts, the building feels a bit older and shabbier. However, it is very clean. And, charmingly, it is covered in framed poster sized photos of athletic events. One (almost) doesn't feel as though they are in a anonymous chain. The only reason I am making a Yelp! post about this otherwise unremarkable experience is that we enjoyed amazing customer service. Seriously impressive care was offered by Michele F. (as our receipt tells us). She was friendly. She expanded on the details of certain menu items to my unsure husband. If it was possible to find merit in their offerings, she would have been the one to uncover it for him. I hope that she is recognized by management for her kindness, friendliness, and efficiency. Although vegan options are a little sparse (bean burrito, no cheese, add rice & guac). Even if it's not exactly real cheese, I avoid the cheesy bean 'n rice burrito in all it's delicious glory. The restrooms indicate someone checks them every 30 minutes, but it seems like they haven't been cleaned since they opened. The entire place is gross, disgusting and unclean. The lady taking our order had food stains all over her clothes. If you use the drive-thru, you might think it looks nice from the outside from the fresh remodel, but inside is a disaster. Just like many consumers I have never complimented all the times I have been happy with TACO BELL. This time I'm going to take the time and shout it from my car rooftop. The TACO BELL in Corning, California is a good example why I have never been concerned about the food I purchased. My cup was sitting on the counter when a customer next to me picked up my cup with his fingers!! I did NOT have to ask for a new cup!! The cashier educated the customer and gave me another cup!
