Came here at lunch and there was a little rush. Seems like the place to stop by when you're on the road. It's right next to a Starbucks and close to gas stations. Decided to try the burrito bowl. The burrito, taco, and quesadillas are huge. You can definitely share this meal. For my choice of protein I got carne asada. Not the best Mexican food but not the worst. They have a salsa bar and a bunch of different hot sauce to try. read more

Cool place really cool vibe in ambience festively decorated with great customer service recommendations and banter. This place gives a mom and pop taco spot feel and flavor with a chipotle, efficiency and quickness. I got the pork Verde burrito and the Machaca bowl and both were amazing. Definitely a hidden gym of the five in red Bluff anytime I'm making my way past Adobe Road in Northern California. This will definitely be a stop. I'm making. read more

Great service and great food! Ordered the burrito bowl and a burrito(plus chips!) and ended up only eating the bowl because it was the perfect portion for two of us. It was sooooo good- it's basically a taco salad but with cabbage instead of lettuce. Turned out to be even better than it would with lettuce. Took the food to go but the seating inside was bright and fun. They also have a good selection of hot sauces - they make great gifts! read more

Wow, prices have sure gone up since I first reviewed this place. Now, it's just over $10 bucks for a burrito! That's getting up there for what's supposed to be inexpensive fast Mexican food. The food is still the same, kinda like a Chipotle. It doesn't really taste all that Mexican, but it is a lot of food I suppose. It's good they open at 10am for an early lunch if you've been up since 4am. With prices what they are, I'll have to give this a second thought as to getting as fast lunch. The food is still just OK and they do speak perfect English here, so that a good thing if you want anything beyond standard on the menu. read more

I know 5 stars is bold for a single-visit review, but this place is great and checks all the boxes if you are on the road through Red Bluff and want to grab a quick bite. There is a seemingly basic, straightforward menu, but what you won't see from looking at it is how fresh every single ingredient is and how well prepared the meat, beans, and rice are. And the service was superb -- friendly, answered questions, had opinions... There is something for everyone: vegetarians and vegans, paleo eaters, picky kids. The kids quesadilla is bigger than your head, and fed two of my little guys (and for $4.75!). Burritos and burrito bowls have avocado included in the very reasonable price, and it was perfectly ripe. They even sell a variety of hot sauces, many of which are local or uncommon brands (like Marie Sharp's!) Space to eat, super kid friendly, large portions of fresh and delicious food. read more

They do have a vegetarian burrito! It was MASSIVE with pretty good price. The staff were super friendly. There are a lot of different hot sauces and drink options. They also offer burrito bowls and tacos. They do not have vegetarian tacos on the menu but I didn't ask so they could probably make one if you do ask. The decor was super cute. I loved the paintings. The burritos here are delicious and the staff are very nice. I ordered a shredded beef burrito with all the fixings. The worker making my burrito was super friendly and didn't skimp on the toppings. The burrito was super fresh with a huge portion size. The hot sauces were really good with just the right amount of heat. I recently ate here with my 12 year old son, and really enjoyed it. We were on our way to Redding, and wanted to find a fast lunch place. I'm glad we found Burrito Bandito. Pros: 1. Super fast and friendly service, 2-3 minutes in line and I got my burrito bowl 2. Convenient location - very close to I5 highway 3. Very clean and well-maintained, plenty of seating 4. Customizable - extra cheese for my son's cheese quesadilla and extra meat for my burrito bowl 5. Food (meat, cabbage, sour cream, jalapeno...) tasted very fresh Cons: 1. The chicken was a bit salty without rice, I liked the carne asada quite a bit more 2. No salsa bar, though they did have 3 sauces of various spiciness to add to your food. There is also a selection of various sauces in bottles We liked the place so much that we stopped here for lunch on the way back as well. It's closer to a 5 than a 4, it's better than most of the high-way stop food I had. read more

Local Chipotle style fresh mex restaurant. I hadn't been here in about five years but was traveling through Red Bluff and needed to grab dinner for the long drive home. I decided on the chicken bowl and a side of chips and salsa. Nice portions (made for two meals), fresh ingredients and no skimping on the chicken. The salad dressing had a kick to it so if you don't care for heat please ask for another option. Chips and salsa are my favorite snack, loved the salsa bar where customers could have their pick of options (red, green, mild, spicy, etc.). Nice friendly staff, I made a few requests and the staff gladly modified my meal. Will definitely dine at Bandito Burrito again. I didn't order but same the boat sized burritos being made. Steady flow of dinner traffic which is also telling that the local community enjoy the food as well, which is always a good sign. read more

We stopped at the Red Bluff Burrito Bandito that was right off of the freeway. I had the Chile verde burrito, my son had the kids bean and cheese burrito, my aunt and daughter had the tacos. Everyone loved their food. It was freshly made right in front of you and you could chose your toppings. Great food. I'd definitely stop by again if I were in the area. Pricey, but clean location, friendly staff, and a large variety of hot sauces make this place a great stop on the way up or down from the Great White North. They definitely don't skimp on toppings. Even on the tacos, they give plenty of veggies. One is probably enough to sate you, two will make you nice and tired, perfect for sleeping on the ride home. One of the best parts is that everything comes with real avocados sliced in front of you. Subway can stick their avocado packets where the sun don't shine! The chicken is pretty tasty and not too dry. I didn't have their steak but it also looked delicious. It's a little pricey, probably about a dollar more per item than would be normal, especially considering the location. Come here if you're on your way down or up 5! read more

For where it's located it's decent. I have yet to find really good burritos anywhere along the I-5 corridor. The burritos are good sized. No one is going home hungry. But the flavor just isn't there like I want it to be. I think it's mostly the meat - it doesn't have that depth of flavor and grease or crisp that the meat in a really good burrito has. The service was quick. I always like a place where you get to watch them put your burrito together- transparency is always nice. They were following Covid procedures well.
