It was bass and it was deliciously prepared in the salad with rice and lettuce and cheese and tomatoes. Hit the spot perfectly for what I was looking for. Very rich and buttery fish. Add to that a nice glass of Horchata and some chips and salsa complimentary and it was the perfect meal. Red Bluff appears to have no shortage of great taco spots but I'm glad I went with Kaloca's grill. Definitely will try it again next time I'm in the area. The seating was colorful and comfortable as well. The decor was a fun mix of art and the vibe was cozy and fun.

My wife and I have been coming to Casa Ramos in Red Bluff for years. It has always been one of our…read morefavorite places because the staff treated us like family. They always made us feel welcome, and I especially appreciated how they made my wife feel special every time we visited. In the past, walking through the door meant hearing warm greetings from nearly every staff member. It felt like coming home. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was completely different. We didn't recognize anyone, the warm atmosphere we had grown to love was gone, and the service felt impersonal. Instead of feeling like valued longtime customers, it felt as though it was our very first visit. Change is inevitable, but the sense of family that made Casa Ramos so special seems to have disappeared. Sadly, after more than 20 years of loyal patronage, I don't think we'll be returning.
