The carne asada was so flavorful -- juicy, well-seasoned, and you could tell it was fresh off the grill. Everything about it just hit right, from the tortilla to all the fixings. What really made the visit special was the guys working there. They were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Before I even committed to the burrito, they gave me a little sample of the carne asada so I could taste it. Then they hooked me up with a sample of the carnitas too, just because. That kind of personal touch is rare these days, and it totally made my decision easy. If you're in the area and want solid Mexican food that doesn't disappoint, do yourself a favor and hit up Flaco's. The girl who took my order was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering suggestions like different sauce spice options and asking if I preferred it spicy on the side so I can adjust the level of spice. The tortillas were also great, thin and chewy and just strong enough to hold onto the ingredients while you ate. It should also be noted that they have free and unlimited chips and salsa. And the salsas are quite tasty, the salsa verde being my favorite. The super breakfast burrito was eaten cold at around 5 am the next morning, so obviously it wouldn't be fair to judge it like I had it fresh. But it was well constructed, very well sized, and had plenty of egg and bacon in it. It was good even if not eaten at the optimal time and temperature.
