So we were in a hurry and actually ordered on Door Dash before arriving at the trucks location in an attempt to have the food ready by the time we arrived. I was a bit worried about the high prices, but the Yelp reviews are glowing and I quickly realized once we were there what a mistake it was to order ahead because there was a big upcharge and the service was fast anyway. The prices at the truck are was more reasonable and so is the prep time. We were pleasantly surprised with everything we ordered. The combo platter had good portions and everything was delicious. We also ordered a Cali-Melt with steak and although it looked underwhelming, the flavor was definitely there. I wish it had been filled a little more but that speaks to how delicious the food actually is. Don't order ahead like we did and definitely go with the combo plate if you are hungry! Don't go to the one on churn creek. Go to the one downtown. Ordered extra meat and somehow got less than a normal lamb bowl from the downtown truck? Veggies are not near as good either. We were at the Palo Cedro honeybee festival and stopped to get a bite at 2 guys and a grill....WOW! We were super impressed! Not only was the guy taking our order sweet the food was stellar. Was excited to try this place for a while now. The guy was borderline rude and barely even looked at me while I was placing my order. The person I was with ordered 2 extra pitas and even asked about the pita sizes and details, so it was clear. We both ordered combo platters and I specified I wanted chicken in that combo. He looked like he was barely listening, so I reiterated the order and he adjusted the order bc he didn't hear that the person I was with also wanted a combo platter. We asked for the hottest sauce and he implied that we couldn't handle it. I told him we love spicy food and want it anyway (it wasn't even that hot). The whole interaction rubbed me the wrong way, but I excused the poor customer service thinking that the food would make up for it. There was barely any sauce on the food, just a few chunks of meat on both of our plates mixed into the veggies, NONE of which was chicken. Oh, and no extra pita that we ordered either.
