This was an adventure, to say the least. Ordered two beefy crunch burritos. Waited 25 minutes to get my food. Once I did, the burritos were filled with chicken. When I asked what was going on, I was told that they were out of beef so they replaced it with chicken, and that because I took a bite of the burrito to find out that it was filled with chicken, they would not fix the order or provide a refund. Given that I still had a long drive ahead of me and had wasted so much time, I just said screw it and left. I am in this area 4-6 times a month, and it's easy to say that I will never stop back in. read more

I'm typically pretty tough on fast food restaurants. Having said that, this particular Taco Bell is a very well run establishment--I come here frequently for lunch. The staff are extremely courteous and the food is served hot. If you want Taco Bell this place is recommended. read more

So I don't usually write reviews, but honestly this was the worst experience I've had. The woman working the counter was very rude and sarcastic with my friend. Also, our entire order across 4 people was cold. I overheard the guy behind us in line facing similar issues with "we're out of this" and "I guess I could get you that if you want." They were out of like 3 different sodas. I dunno, I've worked at fast food all through college. I get that sometimes it's busy and hot holding isn't changed out. Or the truck didn't come and we're out of certain things. But if anyone on my staff had been that rude, I would've sent them home for that shift. They do an excellent job assembling the food to look nice, they are usually fast, and they are very friendly. To date, I have not had a bad experience with this Taco Bell. OK, I do get food from here sometimes. The plain bean burritos are a pretty good value. Someone opened a can to make the beans, and hopefully they did it recently. The CEO was interviewed a few years ago and said the employees are an expense. I always think of that when I wait and wait in line - three people in front of me and it takes five minutes. I asked the man who rang me up that we were dining in. I didn't get my food in the dine out trey but in a bag. I wanted a tray because I didn't want to eat off the table that I dusted all types of crumbs off of it to the floor. As I asked for the tray " we don't have them" I said, is there at least paper I can put down so that I don't have to eat off a dirty table. The girl, Ashly says "is it that big of a f*****g deal?" Jessica, the manager then found a trey for me and I went and sat down. Has I was sitting in the lobby eating all I could hear is Ashly and her awful attitude cursing me to one of her coworkers. I then waved for Jessica to approach me so that I can tell her what Ashly was saying. As Jessica came, Ashly told Jessica, "tell him to f*** off". I then expressed to Jessica the disrespect I was receiving and Jessica heard it as well. I even told Jessica that Ashly should also have a hair net or a hat on as well as she was the only one with out either and no uniform just messing with people's food! Very troubled by the disrespect i received. The manager then walked away my friend and I continued to listen at Ashly curse me and even told the other co worker "you can't be a germophope and come to a Taco Bell, it's Taco Bell, what do you expect?" I was and still am truly appalled at the service and am highly offended!!! We paid $22.19 and at least I deserved some respect! In the line of work I do, the customer is always right! Honestly I can't figure out where the people with bad reviews are coming from. I eat at this Taco Bell on a pretty consistent basis and every time I think the same thing- that this Taco Bell is so much better than most others around. I live in valpo but I come here to get Taco Bell. They make the most perfect enchiritto's. They fry their cinnamon doughnut hole things perfectly. I mean it's a fast food place- but they do an excellent job. I'm from Phoenix and almost all Mexican food around here is awful. Pretty sad when Taco Bell and Chili's are the only Mexican food I'll eat. Anyways- this Taco Bell is awesome and I recommend it to anyone. They are also always extremely nice. read more

I chaperoned a group of 10-12 students who entered at what we didn't realize was 10 minutes before closing time, but no one told us we couldn't come in. The cashier had already closed out her drawer, and she was angry we were there. "See, I told you we should have locked the door!" she called to her manager. "I'm supposed to get off at 10:30, and I still have to clean my station," she complained later. Everyone was very rude, and we didn't receive our orders for literally 50 minutes altogether. One student's order of a personal pan pizza took 40 minutes, as shown on his receipt. We were a well-behaved group, and there was no excuse for the service. read more

The managers here are not great leaders whatsoever. In fact, they are probably the worst when it comes to customer service too. With the employees being taught shady and unfair business practices in order to just give customers the bare minimum for what passes as a good portion of food. I visited here and will not again. Over the years they have made mistakes so much that I stopped going at all. Yesterday I decided to with my young daughter. I was told at the drive up window that I could not order a variety 12 pack and that I would either have to drive around and back through the line or come in. The manager was rude and I told her I don't work their so I wouldn't know that. I don't understand that and chose to go in because the line was so long. When I came in there was a family in line and it took forever for me to order and to get my order. When I got home my order was wrong. I called in to the taco bell and spoke to that same rude person who was basically yelling telling me that she did not see that on her computer screen what I ordered and and asked her what the code was on the receipt and she gave me something different than what I had. I told her she was rude and unprofessional. She said it was common sense not to order a variety 12 pack in the drive up line. Then start saying she told me five times that she would replace my order (untrue) and what else do I want her to do all the while she is screaming . She says they are not in the business of replacing orders to rude people (really)! I asked for the other manager and she said he was unavailable. I asked for a corporate number and she hung up on me. I called back and she answered after several rings I told her I just want my money back and I would be there in 15 minutes. When I arrived she was gone. I was treated very nice by other staff members and they acknowledge that they heard her. I will be complaining to the main office today. read more
