I'm not one to complain but every time I go to this taco bell it's always awful! Tonight's issue, Nacho fry's were burnt, Doritos locos tacos didn't have sour cream, barley any meat, the amount of lettuce could feed a small school of children, only one had tomato(we ordered 4 total). The blue raz slush tasted like dirt. The calupa was as hard as a rock. The guy at the window was very short and seemed to be in a hurry, made me feel like we were a bother. Ordered 3 beef crunchy taco supremes. I was informed that they were completely out of lettuce which I begrudgingly accepted. When I got home with my order it was obvious that the tacos had been made and sitting for a while before I came. The juices had already soaked through the shell and stuck to the paper. I went just a few minutes ago, and I ordered three crunchy tacos with added steak and extra cheese with light lettuce. their greedy butts gave me so little cheese but still charged me. they messed up my ordered twice. they gave someone else's ordered with my sticker on it. then the whole cheese thing, the guy at the front of the drive thru was sweet, it was the kitchen staff. who weren't being cooperative. read more

Let me preface this review with the fact that I haven't eaten at a Taco Bell for more than two decades. The food and reputation in the '90s wasn't good. My son is freshman at the college, he likes Taco Bell and gets to eat it more often now. So I came up to Canyon early Saturday morning to get him for the weekend and he decided we should have Taco Bell for breakfast on the drive home. I ordered the chicken sandwich box so I would have a variety of things to try. The chicken sandwich taco had good flavor, a little more sauce would have been okay. The beefy bean burrito was excellent, I could taste more than just refried beans, the meat and cheese sauce had great flavor. I saved the crunchy taco for last, it had all the classic taco flavor I could hope for. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything, the price is reasonable (especially compared to the inflation hitting everything else), and the service was good. I would recommend this Taco Bell to anyone, and the good experience with them means I'm willing to try other Taco Bell's in the future. read more

I do not expect much from Taco Bell to begin with as it is not a quality restaurant and that is known. But this location is bad even for a Taco Bell. Late night has very few choices in Canyon. Just go to Allsup's if you have a late night burrito craving. It is just a little further down the street on the opposite side from Taco Bell. read more

Normally it's not bad, exactly what you would expect from a small town Taco Bell. However, I went on Thursday (1/21/2021) a little past 11:30pm and one of my burritos was absolute filled with some extremely spicy sauce. This may have been a mistake, but it certainly felt malicious. There was an unacceptable amount of heat. Not all of the food was like this, but one burrito was totally inedible. Very hard to believe it was not intentionally done seeing as the rest of the food was fine and just one made me feel sick. It looked like the workers were trying to close up early, so maybe I pissed someone off by coming by too close to closing. Whatever the circumstances, I don't see myself going back anytime soon. I walked into this taco bell to get my online order. As the door opened it smelled horrible, there was food all over the counters and floor the pop machine had goo and syrup all over it and there was needles and syringes of sorts on the counters with opened bandaids and sause packets squished everywhere. The employees were so slow and didn't care one girl was sitting on the counter on her phone and only one guy was BARELY working. Food was "ok", my soft taco tortillas were very tough and dry and I don't understand why the ask how many sauces you want if they NEVER give you what you ask for. I ask for 12 packets and got 6. This location has to have some of the nicest employees I've seen in this town. They're always extremely friendly and make you feel like they appreciate the business. It's a good Taco Bell, and that's what you get: Taco Bell. The great employees make it stand out. Edit: December 2017, this place has gone downhill. This Taco Bell has got to be the worst one around here. Every single time my family eats there, something is wrong AND something is missing from our order. It just never fails that they are never at fault and they are mad because they have to fix their mistakes!! Each time we go we have less and less meat, etc on our food. Today (10/20/2018) the tortillas on the burritos were dried out and the taco bell grande sure wasn't a grande, I could see the bottom of the plate through what few chips there were and the chips didn't even touch the outside of the dish. We have been locals and ate here for the past 4 years since we moved here. The last 6 months this place has been horrible! Tonight I got my chicken burrito and I couldn't even chew the damn chicken.
