I had their shrimp birria tacos. SO good! The consomé was delicious too. I also ordered the dip with corn in it. Wow, that was great. First time trying this. Everything was nice and hot, and was still hot when I got home. Highly recommend this place! They used to have a food truck but they opened a brick and mortar place about 4 miles away from my house. I live in Brandywine, MD.

I had said "I heard you all have the best birria" and I was so excited for them to tell me what to try first. They have birria quesadillas and much more, but the lady told me to try the tacos. I ordered that and it wasn't too long before they were ready. I didn't uncover the consomme in my pic, but trust me when I say it was delicious. The tacos were the perfect texture, were flavorful, and it was such a delightful little tray of food. I'm glad I can finally say I have tried this spot. They have a brick-and-mortar that was actually just down the street from the fair. I can't wait to visit the storefront and explore more of the menu!

First review of June so here we go!! I was at the Sam's Club up the street and wanted to stay in…read morethe area for a quick bite because of the traffic. So I just yelped and this place came up. I love a homey looking restaurant so I decided to give them a try. Now the inside has two area...the bar area with a few table tops and the other side where you can go to the counter and order and has several tables to sit. I decided to sit at the table tops on the bar side. The bartender came and took my order. I decided to start off with a strawberry margarita. Now, I was kind of disappointed in the margarita because if you asked me I would think it would be made from scratch. It was not...Smdh So the margarita was extremely sweet and tasted artificial. I ended up getting a couple of other drinks ended up being Mai Tai which tasted way better. Now on to the food...shrimp tacos were made with the small shrimps and was plentiful which was good. Just when I asked for cheese it was the queso fresco I believe which was not what I expected. I also ordered steak tacos and the steak was cut in strips like you would find at a Chinese restaurant. Not seasoned at all. The guacamole I ordered with a side of chips didn't have flavor or salt either. I was so disappointed again this restaurant seems to supposedly should have been "authentic" and everything should have tasted homemade and on point. Would I come back no... The side order of jalapeños were grilled good, but the green onions can't remember what they are actually called rates old and were left side like they were sitting around getting soggy. The amount of money I spent compared to what I got...it's one and done for me.

My criteria is a bit high was it comes to pupusas since I grew up eating authentic ones at home. I…read moreordered 2 pupusas from here, one which I assume was supposed to be pork and one beans and cheese. The "pork" one was not authentic as it was basically tomato blended with cheese. It was still good because it almost tasted like a tortilla filled with pink pasta sauce but I knew it wasn't the real deal. The bean and cheese one was good. For 2 pupusas it was a little under $5 and came with the pickled cabbage and tomato sauce. Two was filling but I maybe could have gone for 3. The staff was very kind. They do have a variety of items on their menu. Do not be confused by the outside like I was. It does appear to be just a liquor store on the outside but the deli is located at the back of the store, if you keep walking to the back when you enter.

This place is located in a convenience store, so when you're approaching the address, it's not very obvious that this place is located inside due to the lack of signage. This place has limited hours and I believe they open early for breakfast and close at 4:00 p.m. I originally wanted to call in my order, but didn't see a decent menu online and/or prices, so I made my way there. I got there maybe about 20 minutes before they closed as I saw the chairs up on top of the tables in their seating area. I immediately just ordered the carne asada tacos, the pork pupusas and the cheese pupusa. I took it to go, brought it inside my car and because I didn't eat lunch and it was almost dinner time, I literally picked up the cheese pupusa and ate it in my car. It was piping hot and delicious. I didn't even put the little salad / hot sauce on top as I was really hungry. Overall it was really good. Of course, I moved on to the taco and thought it was kinda small, but thought to myself I should have ordered one more. I think it was comparable to the price that I paid, but for someone that was hungry I knew that maybe four wouldn't not be enough but thankfully the pupusas filled me up. I didn't finish my food completely as I drove home because I wanted to really sit down and try the food. My overall feedback on the tacos is to probably ask them to make my tacos medium rare if at all possible. Secondly, I would probably order at least five and maybe four pupusas. I think that would satisfy my craving and I would be full. I love supporting small businesses so if you are in the area, please stop by and try out this place.
