I had a great experience at this Taco Bell! I walked in and it was quite. There was only one other customer in the restaurant. The young girl at the register took my order and quickly made my meal. I later discovered that they have a kiosk as you walk in, where you can place your order. I saw it but didn't know what it was. While I was eating, I saw another customer walk in and place his order. I later asked the employee who took my order if I was supposed to order at the kiosk. It's been FOREVER since I've been inside a Taco Bell (or really, at Taco Bell period). She relayed I didn't have to, but it's an option. Apparently they are at all of the Taco Bells. Anyway, I quietly ate my food and chilled. My car was in the shop next door and I was waiting. The interior décor was different and quite pleasing. Clean -I like that! I got the "Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme" Crunchy, fresh, love the sour cream. Did it taste like Doritos? sort of... I walked in to PU an order today 3/13/23 and there's a tall , thin , guy looking down and reading his phone , I'm standing there for about 30-40 seconds and finally said , " hello ?" Nothing , I said it again and he looked up at me and just stared at me / effing clueless . Another girl walked over and gave me my food . I think the manager or owner goes out of their way to find the most lame people in Bowie to work here . I think Taco Bell is making a comeback, ya'll. Did you know you can order food here online AND customize it? Did you know there are really delicious, healthy vegetarian options? Did you know that Taco Bell has been secretly innovating pretty nutritious menu items to counter their nacho cheese-filled Doritos-laden food? Don't get me wrong, you can still order your 5000 calorie nacho cheese-filled ground beef burrito with sour cream and whatever, BUT if you're looking for something...toned down, you can get it here, too. I have consistently enjoyed this Taco Bell's courteous service, and recently I have been impressed with the overall menu changes. (Evidently this has to do with corporate Taco Bell bringing on a full-time nutritionist.) Of note for me are: - the Protein Bowl, which I get vegetarian style. It's got black beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, a little sour cream, and a sprinkle of grated cheese. Very filling and you won't feel gross afterward. - The Cantina Burrito, which is also packed with fresh ingredients and can be made veggie style, too. - Their breakfast crunch wraps are not healthy by any means, but it's a great to-go option for a filling breakfast. There's egg, cheese, bacon (or whatever you order), and crunchy hashbrowns inside! YUM! I love that they grill the outside of the tortilla so it holds together and has a little crunch to it. Can't get an order right, especially if it's vegetarian. It's like they don't teach their workers how to make anything that doesn't have meat in it, so they just guess when you order something vegetarian straight off the menu. I ordered a veggie power menu bowl and they gave me rice, beans, lettuce, and tomato. I ordered a cheese quesadilla as part of a larger order with my family and they forgot it. When I went back to get it later in the evening, they gave me a chicken quesadilla and threw a chicken burrito I didn't ask for in the bag. I'm the only one in my house who's vegetarian, so they can't just share their food with me. When this place forgets my meal, or puts meat in it, or gives me a paltry hodgepodge, it means I need to either go back and get the order corrected or make food on a night I was trying to avoid cooking. It ruins the purpose of fast food and makes my night *more* stressful. Three words....Doritos Locos Tacos!! OMG! Why didn't Doritos think of this before?? Genius! I have loved Doritos since I was a child, so the fact that I can get a taco with a Doritos taco shell is a major treat! Something about the Doritos taco shell that really sets the tacos off! You have your choice of Original, Cool Ranch and Fiery. Give me the original and I'm straight! I don't really eat fast food, but when I need a taco fix, I will hit up Taco Bell in a second! If they sold these shells in the grocery store I would buy them and make my own tacos, but since they only have a version that's not so bueno on the shelves, I'll continue to go to TB. They offer a happy hour during the day where certain drinks are on special. Breakfast is also served here now. I also like a few other menu items that satisfy my Mexican food craving in a flash. (Gordita crunch, churros, nachos) The drive-thru line is always quick and the employees are always friendly and helpful. From the drive-thru, I ordered a bean burrito, nachos and cheese and a cheese rollup. I was asked if I wanted any sauce and requested hot sauce. I did not get the nachos or any sauce. The staff failed to provide one-third of my order. It was just three items! They now seal each bag with a paper sticker which conceals the contents. From this day forward, I will not depart from the window without tearing open the bag and verifying my order. It is unusual to get good service from this location and that is just wrong. read more

This spot is usually great but tonight we experienced some annoying mishaps from this specific taco bell. I don't know if the girl that served us was new, but we did not receive a receipt and we did not receive the right order at all. When we pulled up to the window, they couldn't even give us all of our change back because she "ran out of change". That was okay with us but still, wtf? When we opened our bag we were missing 3 crunchy tacos and a burrito. They seemed to have replaced it with a quesadilla but we didn't order that or want it. They also threw in some cinnamon twists that we never ordered. The only thing they got right was my 3 Doritos locos tacos. The biggest con is the constant change in management. Next con is that because of the changes, new staff aren't consistently or properly trained. For example, they are currently toasting all their tortillas, even if for burritos. But burritos should have nice soft shells, not crispy ones. The beef quality of all Taco Bells has gone down over the years as well. This location is near the high school so it's frequently overrun by noisy teens. But, beyond that, it is fine. I go for the convenient proximity to my house and the friendly staff. Update: I've changed the rating to a 4 star because the management has not changed in a while and the staff seems to be better trained now. There rarely are any errors in our orders now. read more

came into the dining room early in the morning for a fattening, unhealthy breakfast. The place is filthy and the heat it set to about 60 degrees. Employees have their coats on; I do too. Tables and chairs aren't wiped, upholstery is all ripped on the chairs, walls haven't been painted in years and have dirty spots visible where yucky customers have leaned against them over time, and the floors look like they haven't been mopped in forever. The staff is the nicest fast food staff I think ever and they are all really professional. I mean they take working at the bell really seriously, which I think is cool. A few months ago I was ordering my food and i noticed that I was missing something, so I go back in the line and tell them that i'm missing an item and the lady went in the back to fix it. This Taco Bell is a franchise. Which means they can charge you whatever they feel like. The all new Daredevil Grillers are on TV commercials for only $1. I did not think I would be writing a review for a Taco Bell but the service was so good I just had to. The staff is amazing. Always friendly. Caucasian guy is one of the most friendly guys you will ever meet as a drive thru cashier.
