I have a little trouble ordering on their new order board but am learning as I think some of us still are. It's getting easier. Staff at Sandalfoot knows it's hard for some to get used to and is willing to help with ordering. Usually get 3 tacos or 1 burrito and taco. We're in the middle of a pandemic and a lot of restaurants and grocery stores have changed their hours. It was after 9 pm and I wanted to get carry out. I remembered that Taco Bell has a drive through window, and they're open late. I ordered the new cheesy burrito box. It came with a drink, a cheesy burrito, a crunchy taco, and cinnamon twists for dessert. All this for only $5.00. My food was delicious. It was a lot of food and I enjoyed every bite. I live in the area and drive by this location daily, sometimes several times a day. I've always been impressed by the line queued for the drive up, regardless of the time of day. I figured I'd give in and try it tonight, wanting something fast, easy, fresh, and hopefully tasty. I ordered 2 chicken salad bowls. They were both made by the same person but each had different ingredients. And each had very little lettuce - "ah, it's a salad guy, the base is lettuce, where is it?" I had them remade and they were somewhat better, but still too much rice, not enough greens, and a lot of a tasteless greenish dressing/sauce. A chicken taco was overflowing with lettuce, little chicken, and was dripping something - watery sauce-like stuff. Well, you won't see me back there, got it out of my system. Admission: part of my interest in checking them out is I'm a stockholder, and have done well, and was curious what made them attract so many customers. When was I going to break down? I had been back in the United States for 2 weeks, after living in France for 7 months. I would return to France in a week.
