This is a small Taco Bell I used to visit far more frequently back in the 90's when I worked in Schaumburg. I was in the area today and needed a quick lunch so I walked in got my order, and all is good. I liked the fact I can order in person inside and not have to deal with some stupid kiosk like the Buffalo Grove location. (The BG location has lost a fair percentage of my business due to this kiosk-only business...) My order was expertly cooked and assembled and the taste was very good. While I was sitting eating my lunch, watching the short order cooks prepare meals, which I love to do, the lady closest to the counter was making what looked like a crunch wrap off some sort. She took it out of the press, opened it up, took tomatoes off of it, folded it back up and put it back in the press to finish cooking. What if that customer was allergic to tomatoes? This is highly improper, and that food should have been thrown out and started over again! You're going to get somebody sick doing nonsense like this! read more

8/2021 Been disappointed the last few times here. This last one was absolutely terrible. The Nacho Bell Grande's have been getting smaller and more expensive. Got the NBG and paid for Extra Nacho Cheese and to Add Steak (beef and add steak). Check the pics out. TERRIBLE! Where's the Beef? Where's the Cheese? Where's the Steak? Is there anything but chips in this? Ate 80% of the chips with nothing on them. Last time here. Went from 5 starts to 2 stars. We will go to Palatine from now on. Further but worth it! 3/2021 Have been here a few times. Always love Taco Bell! Service was fast and friendly. Food was a good temperature and good quality. Got my complicated order correct. The only negative thing is getting in and out of the parking lot can be complicated and only available from certain directions. All in all, this is a great restaurant and we will be back. read more

The last time I ate at a Taco Bell was December 31st, 2009. Until yesterday. We were hungry and in a hurry. He wanted fast food; I, of course, didn't. But there really wasn't another option. So to change things up, we came here (with some hesitation from me). I was kind of freaking out because I hadn't been to a Taco Bell in years and wasn't familiar with vegetarian options that may or may not be available. After feeling rushed at the drive-through window, I ordered a bean burrito. He got a taco and a quesadilla. Our order wasn't ready yet when we pulled up to the window so we were told to pull ahead and wait. So we did. We waited. And waited. And then my husband got out of the car and went inside to see what was going on. Five minutes later, he returns to the car with the food in hand and explains that the workers laughed at him because "he was the guy that drove away without his food." What the.... !!?! Then, to aggravate him more, they take care of two other people before re-making the food right in front of him and giving it to him. Way to win us over, Taco Bell. Not. Some of the WORST service I have EVER received. We came to Taco Bell after being on a train for an hour. My niece, who doesn't even live in the state of IL was completely mistreated by Esmeralda C. My niece ordered ahead of time so that she could use her Taco Bell reward. When we got up to the intercom after waiting for 20 mins and having some lady cut in line 3 cars up, Esmeralda insisted that we didn't place an order, even though we were showing her the proof. She completely mistreated us. She basically called us liars about the order we placed when they clearly had given our order to the person that cut us. She even tried to tell me niece that she's "seen her before in line" even though my niece lives in the state of WISCONSIN AND HAD NEVER BEEN TO THE ESTABLISHMENT EVER AND WE HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF A DAMN TRAIN AND SAT IN LINE FOR 20 MINUTES. After arguing about it at the window and Esmeralda COMPLETELY ignoring our proof of the order, she made us circle back around and wait at the end of the line when we had already placed our order and was told to come to the window. Than she tried to claim she was giving us "free food" even though we paid for the damn food that they were refusing to give us. They wanted my niece to pay double. I than asked for the managers last name and Esmeralda refused to give it to me in order to file a formal complaint. I even called the establishment for the managers name and the employee refused to give it to me. They didn't even make our order correctly even though it was a mess up in THERE system. I will never come to this establishment again for the way we were treated. The so called manager slammed the window on us 3 times and kept ignoring us and didn't want to look at our proof of the order. Incredibly unprofessional. Do not come to this establishment. This location always has a friendly staff and is quick. I always go here in on my way home from work late night and never had any issues. Well tonight, my wife ordered me a double chalupa box before I got home from work. As soon as I opened it I saw that the chalupa wasn't even filled halfway so she went back and they didn't believe her saying we ate it. Really?! Why would some eat it and bring it back. We drove by and just noticed that this location has been razed without a trace! We only ate there once, maybe one or two years ago. Please note that my lazy self has never actually been inside this Taco Bell. I have been known to hit up its drive-thru more often than I should because it is quick and close to work. The staff here is friendlier than most fast food joints, but the real miracle is that they have NEVER screwed up my order. And I am that person who pulls off into a parking spot after receiving my order just to check because my order (I substitute beans for meat on a number of items, and apparently, this is very confusing in Fast Foodland) gets screwed up more often than it gets prepared correctly. Not a bad T Bell, but it's always cold inside during the winter and one time the lady making my burrito had a wet looking sore on her hand. It has the classic brown and yellow color scheme inside which I prefer and they almost always get my very specific order correct. I used to average 3-4 visits a week at this location. I work close to this Taco Bell. I like Taco Bell once in a while. Every time I go to the drive thru. They say " Hi, how are you today? " I say, good. Then I place my order. I wait five seconds, ten seconds, twenty seconds and then they reply by repeating the order, but I don't know whose order they are repeating. Not mine. The last time I was there I had to repeat my order. They said, did you say a diet Pepsi? I said, no, a regular Pepsi. I get to work, diet Pepsi. If I order a beef burrito I most times get a bean burrito. It's a Taco Bell folks, it's not that hard if you understand English. Take the order, push the button that shows a picture of a "beef burrito" the one with no "beans". Just apply yourself. It's a Taco Bell for cripe sake. Figure it out. read more

brand spanking new store. the old one was run down and kind of nasty. parking lot is new, aswell- the old one was a disaster with all kinds of bad potholes. but what really put it over the top was the girl late last night at the drive-thru was so polite and super sweet. before my order, she asked me how i was and said it like she actually cared.
