I went with friend for lunch today. Great place, tasty food, staff were friendly. It got busier and louder towards the end.

Nice place to have a drink and grab a bite to eat while you're out shopping. full menu lots of choices, Friendly staff and nice dining room area. Food is a good American version of Mexican food that the white man would be proud of.

The vibe is great, the employees are super nice and approachable.. the food? Fire!! We will definitely be back. If I had to critique, I would say they should definitely do a plate style chiliquiles instead of the to go box style. You don't get as much rice or beans and, they chop the steak. I'm used to getting a whole steak, cooked the way I like (medium). That and, add an extra egg to the dish... otherwise it was super delicious! We will be back!

I got the Taco Bamba, carne picada, and birria tacos ($5 ea), elote ($4) , and chips and queso ($6) . Food came out in about 15 minutes which seemed good by how busy it was. My favorite taco was the taco bamba out of the three. The elote was also quite good especially with the amount of cheese they loaded on it. The queso was thick but tasted average for what it was. The inside was a bit small and seating was hard to find due to the busyness. Overall I had a good enough experience to come back. Drinks are great! Staff are very friendly. Great spot to grab lunch. Chill vibe for sure.

    Pack the Bowl with Birria.

Ordered the "pack the bowl" and I walked out of there packed! So much food, so many flavors, so many textures, so many different colors, etc. The Birria was so soft and tender; like it was cooked in a crockpot for 24 hours.

I would say this place is alright ! The $6 happy hour flautas were yummy with the refried beans on top. I would say the guacamole was advertised as grilled and something out of the ordinary. It was pre packaged like the chipotle gauc. It was still pretty good tho I just felt aggressively misled. Also this place specializes in mezcal and we were able to get happy hour mezcal margs ! They do have a pretty strong happy hour. My boyfriend got the Jeffrey I believe it's called. It was the egg roll thing with beef and Chorizo etc. he did not enjoy that said the breading wasn't the way he likes it. I don't eat pork so I was not able to try that. We sat at the bar so service was pretty good. I will say the spot is cute. I enjoyed it.

Another great meal at Taco Bamba. All of the TBs have different menus and this one has to be my favorite. The bartender was so passionate about the menu. She did an excellent job 'selling' the menu items. It's in a shopping center so parking is plentiful.

Recently went back to Taco Bamba with a couple of friends since we were craving tacos. I tried 3 new tacos and ran into similar issues from my previous review of saltiness in 2 out of 3 of the tacos. The Arabe taco was made with pita instead of a tortilla and was phenomenal! It felt very filling and had a good flavor profile. The Herky Jerky was made with carnitas which was a tougher cut of meat and skewed salty and spicy. We also tried their queso and chips and churros (again) which were both delicious! I had to amend my review and add a star for service! The star of the night was our server Scarlett. She was absolutely phenomenal, knew the menu well, offered great recommendations and checked in on us often. This is one of those places that you frequent because the service is just that good. Honestly one of the best service experiences I have had this year and I would highly recommend visiting and sitting at the bar with her or requesting table service with Scarlett. Overall, Taco Bamba is a good option for a quick dinner. I would recommend asking for suggestions from your server or staff to avoid the salty pitfalls I fell into and make sure to try some of the non-taco options such as the queso, salsa, chips, drinks and don't forget dessert you will definitely want the churros.

TLDR - HUGE menu with lots of unique tacos. SUPER flavorful. Might come back to try something more mild. Vibe - the inside is vibrant and there are a few tables outside for dining. We find the music a bit loud but the service was friendly and quick. I do wish the person taking orders gave more recommendations because the menu is GIANT. I told her this was my first time and she said okay - haha! Food - there were SO many tacos I wanted to try but I landed on Taco Bamba and Shrimp Bing Bang Boom. I also got a classic marg (happy hour!) and chips and queso. Here are my thoughts: Marg - standard but good Queso - meh and SPICY! I was not expecting that and couldn't finish it :( Tacos - both tacos were almost too flavorful. It's actually all I could think about while I was eating; I was so surprised. The Taco Bamba was a bit heavy on the pickled items so I would probably remove the pickled peppers next time as I found the flavor a bit overwhelming. I started this review out with 4 stars but after thinking critically about the food, for me, it's a 3. This is a place my husband would probably love so I hope to give it another try and update my review once I try more menu items.

Taco Bamba wasn't my personal favorite but maybe it was because I ordered the wrong things. The menu was very overwhelming so I randomly ordered a carne asada torta and took the cashier's recommendations for tacos: the Scott's Addiction and Dragon Gordo. My husband loved the tacos but for me, there were too many competing flavors on both tacos and they didn't go well together to me. However, I've heard people rave about Taco Bamba so I will be back to try a more simple taco and a margarita - I saw someone drinking a watermelon margarita at the bar and it looked so fresh & delicious!  Pros: Friendly staff, cool space, lots of seating, easy parking, food was quick.  Cons: the carne asada in my torta was really tough & chewy and the sauces on the tacos were overpowering for me.

Great drink choices during Happy Hour!!!

Have passed this place for years...stopped by after work one day recently during Happy Hour...loved the ambiance, greeting by staff and overall atmosphere...complex yet simple menu that was overwhelming as I was trying to decide what to eat...GREAT MUSIC!!! I ordered a Mango Margarita before settling on the Bamba wings and some tacos...very pleased with my choices and the service again was excellent...my Margarita was good as well...so good I ordered another...everything was reasonably priced and good for a quick bite. Stop by sometime and enjoy all that it has to offer.

    Taco Bamba, Asade and Elote
    Chvonne R.

It's just mediocre tacos. Nothing stood out that makes me want to return. Ordered the taco bamba and asade with an elote. The asade taco was entirely too salty but the yogurt sauce was tasty. They do load up the tacos so imo it was worth $5. And the elote has no flavor cause it was overpowered by the cojita cheese. Lastly all the unoccupied tables were dirty and the restaurant was pretty empty so not sure why the dining space was not being maintained.

I noticed the ice cream/yogurt spot nearby was hopping. There was a person asking for change outside the front door. We were greeted by an enthusiastic host and seated immediately at a booth up front. The server came by within seconds and brought us water and place settings. We decided to get the chips and salsa for an appetizer and a pair of melting chimichangas for entrees. I can't resist some chorizo and steak. My partner got the chimichanga without chorizo and with chicken. The ambiance was colorful with beautifully painted murals on each wall, and the atmosphere was undeniably loud. There were lots of patrons. The place was packed, even at the bar, so your mileage may vary. We received our orders within minutes of each other, so there wasn't much of a wait time. The chips and salsa were homemade, fresh, warm, and delicious (muy rico). Same for the entrees; exactly what I want in a Mexican food restaurant. The chorizo and steak were well-cooked, seasoned, and chopped finely, but not ground. I was in heaven with that chimichanga. We had to take home leftovers. The next night, heated in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes, they were similarly excellent. The night ended without dessert, sadly (too full). However, the server was quick and efficient, and he was always around to fill water and bring anything we needed throughout the meal. Great experience overall. We will definitely return here whenever we have a hankering for some good Mexican food at reasonable prices. I can recommend this place to anyone who appreciates hearty and filling Mexican food.

The ambiance can be described as eclectic and casual. It's great for big groups and relaxed lunches. There's a variety of menu options for food and drink. Our server was nice, but she didn't really answer our questions about the menu or substitutions, which was a little inconvenient. Also, we kept having to ask for utensils and napkins, which made our food get a bit cold. The pineapple habanero margarita tasted like spicy pineapple juice and was pretty expensive. It was pretty, but not worth the money. The food also was really average, but the portion sizes were good for sharing. The huitlacoche tacos were a little bland and soggy, the chicken chipotle tacos had a good sauce but were also soggy and the fajitas did not have enough seasoning. Not a restaurant that I would come back to, but I liked it's proximity to other dessert places nearby.

These little, double-layered tacos packed a lot of flavor. Everything was delicious, but we agreed that our favorite was the carnitas (fried pork). It had a crunch to it that was perfect. All of the tacos were topped with cilantro and diced raw onions, but you can opt to not have it. They also had a sauce bar with different sauce options from the wimpy tomatillo sauce to the hottest. The server was friendly and nice. They also offered a good variety of menu items including desserts. I asked the waitress about their tacos on other days and she said they are $3.49 each and slightly bigger. Finding a cheap meal is hard these days. We will definitely be back.
