The rolls and fried shrimp are to salty for my liking. We didn't like the bacon mac and cheese at all. The lobster tail was, good. Slightly overcooked. Shrimp scampi was okay. The reason we came, the snow crab legs. Yes, all crab legs are frozen but some seem fresher than others. Unfortunately, these fall into the not so fresh category. How judge is by the crack of the shell and the sweetness of the meat. I'd give these 3 out of 5 stars. They were passable but nothing I'd come back for.

On entering the restaurant we were informed of a 45 minute delay despite the lateness of our arrival at 6:45. We decided to take a seat in the bar, since the waiting area was filled. We stood at the bar for some time, before realizing that no one was going to wait on us. There was a very large party also at the bar and once all of their party arrived, they left to go elsewhere. At about 7:30 we were seated. I ordered one of the specialty drinks containing 2 types of rum. When it arrived at the table, it looked (& tasted) like watered down kool-aid not like fruit juices and rum. When the server returned I sent the drink back, she said to me " I even put extra vodka in for you". I told her the drink did not contain vodka, rather 2 kinds of rum and sent it back. I replaced it with wine. In looking at the menu, we were perplexed that salad, unless ordered as a side, no longer accompanied the meal and the large rock lobster we normally ordered was no longer on the menu. Food was adequate, but not what it had been formerally. Not having a bar tender on duty was also a disappointment. This was our "go to" place for celebrations, but I do not think we will be back.

The bartender who had worked at the restaurant for 7 years was working her very last shift- Ordered a bottle of wine- not available Tried another not available finally just said what do you have?? Got some Pinot Grigio that wasn't cold nor was I asked to taste... Anyway asked if there was still prime rib available- was told yes! Not surprised due to the 12 people in the entire restaurant. Got a shrimp cocktail served in a warm pasta bowl. Shrimp were mediocre at best $20 for 6- cocktail sauce was cumin scented not sure why... Fast forward to ordering the main course...we were told no Prime Rib was left??.... WHAT??? Decided to get the check and left. I would strongly recommend you to not even walk in the door to start with.

I set my expectations somewhere north of Taco Cabana but well below a respectable full-service Mexican restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised! So far, everything I've had on the menu has been good. The quesadilla had veggies in it, which seems less common but is for sure the correct way to make them. The enchiladas are good. The taquitos (flautas) are excellent. The fajita meat is nothing to write home about but the veggies and seasoning they are served in/with is really top notch. The best thing I've had here was the carnitas; highly recommend. The margaritas are too sweet unless you get the "skinny" rita. The beans are delicious but twice have been over-salted. Minor complaints, really. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in town (very close w/ their neighbor-est restaurant being neck-and-neck w/ them though). Very happy to have them here and hope they stick around!

My husband and I both ordered the same thing, a cheese burger with a side of fries. We also splurged and got a chili cheese dog and a chocolate milkshake. The burgers were different, loose meat with white American cheese, very simple. The bun was baked to buttery perfection, it was really tasty! The fries were just basic crinkle cut, cooked perfectly though. The chili cheese dog was a little disappointing, there wasn't much chili on there. I probably would stick with the burgers. The milkshake was smooth and creamy. The server was very sweet and helpful despite being really busy! The inside is very small but also very inviting, we loved looking at the pictures of years past that were posted all around. There was an ambiance of nostalgia.
