My wife and I have been coming here since 2008. It went completely downhill. It was 2:30pm and it was us and another couple. Service was incredible slow. Our waitress would check on us no joke once every 20 minutes. Took over 10 minutes just to get the check. I would not recommend this place at all. All reviews about horrible service are accurate. The guys bathroom also smelled like I was in downtown Pittsburgh during a tailgate. Food was ok but my wife had to cut the shrimp tails off her Alfredo which took 10 minutes. It was our first time to eat at this location. We arrived at 1:00pm for lunch and it was packed. No reservation so we had about a 15 minute wait. It was pouring outside so really didn't mind the wait. Once seated we ordered our drinks and food. My daughter and granddaughter shared the lobster, steak and two sides plate, and I ordered the all you can eat shrimp. The staff and waitress were very professional and polite. We never had to asked refills on our drinks or the shrimp. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it took a while to get our meal and the waitress came by and apologized for the delay. We were 10 at dinner. I cannot imagine a much worse experience. It started with severer who stood at one end of the table to take orders; folks at the far end could not hear him. Food was brought to the table and "auctioned" to find the person who ordered it. ("Who had crab legs?" Staff is friendly and helpful. Pricey but that's to be expected for seafood. The restaurant is a little dark inside but very relaxing.

The Endless Shrimp promotion drew me in, so I visited while in town for the weekend with some family. We registered on Open Table for "Priority Seating" which mean that our name was on the list, loosely, until we checked in. We arrived a little early and luckily didn't have to wait too long - maybe 10 mins at most. It was a very busy time (6:45 pm) and the waiting area was packed. Our waitress said she was double-seated so we did our best to be patient with wait times with the restaurant as a whole - but it did feel like it took forever to get our food. We each did the initial order of shrimp and then one more additional round. Everything tasted pretty good. I did upgrade a side to the lobster mashed potatoes for $3.99...turned out to be a waste of money. It was good - not great, and the "lobster" pieces turned out to just be 3 small ones that I tried to cut up smaller to get more in every bite. We left feeling full so I felt like I got my money's worth, but unfortunately later that evening I did not feel so great. Not sure if it was the food itself or the oil they cook in, but it makes me think I won't be returning to a Red Lobster anytime soon. Overall, it was fine. read more

Besides the fact that you may pop tires on your car exiting the parking lot through those massively deep holes, the food at this red lobster is the worst I have experienced at this chain. The good: My wife was satisfied with the lobster tail and shrimp however the over salted butter just about ruined the experience. Our server was the bright spot on our latest visit (I am new to the area and have only been here twice). Additionally the broccoli side dish is exceedingly salty as well. And what the hell happened to the cheddar biscuits? Definitely NOT what is usually a bright spot of the Red Lobster experience. You will be hard pressed to find anything recognizable as cheddar biscuits in these things. As for the fish sandwiches (I've tried both the Cod and the flounder) I recommend you go to the Long John Silvers across the street for fish. At least they don't cook the ever loving hell out of their fish. They may call it "crispy" but at this location I call it tough and overcooked to a dark brown. I am not a huge seafood fan, although I wish I was! So I don't tend to seek out seafood places. My parents love Red Lobster so I figured I would tag along with them. Plus I was craving some good shrimp. We went for an early dinner around 3:45 and were seated right away. They were not busy at all. The host was very polite. Our waitress took a few minutes to get to us, so we were ready to order by the time she came for our drinks. She was very bubbly and attentive, refilling drinks and checking on us. All the food came out really good and in a timely fashion. Who doesn't love their cheddar bay biscuits? YUMMY!!! I had their vinaigrette dressing with my salad and it was probably the worst part of the meal. The dressed was just so tart/sour and kinda hurt my tongue. Too much vinegar for sure! It wasn't un-edible, but not very appetizing. I love their coconut shrimp with the coconut sauce that comes with it so I ordered that. Reminds me of summer on a beach! Its super light and flavorful, I could eat it all day! Nothing really that special about this place, its not bad but its not OMG amazing. Now here's a restaurant that you don't expect the town of Butler to have: Red Lobster. From a place that is overpopulated with credit unions and fast food chains, this establishment is an outcast. Fresh ingredients, approachable staff members and the famous cheddar cheese biscuits! You can't get enough of this place and it's ocean-themed decor overwhelming the dining areas. Hands down, I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp tacos. Well done, Lobster killers. I just wish that they would also kill the sky-high menu item prices. read more

this used to be my favorite restaurant for 20 years, but is really getting bad lately I went for my birthday dinner and it was the worst meal I ever had The waitress kept forgetting things that I asked her to get and by the time we got our meal (delivered by someone other than the waitress, which means it was sitting there) the food was lukewarm When I talked to the manager about it I could tell by the tone of his voice that he really did not give a rat's behind. The prices are outrageous and you get less food. The "pick two"menu has less choices and Walt's favorite shrimp - I only got 6 breaded shrimp. Portions are very small and the menu has been scaled down to 1/2 the original offerings I will not be coming back, there is too much competition out there to put up with this crap. Had to ask the other waiter for salt and pepper she was just gone after she threw our food down. Had to ask for cheese for my husband's noodles and then when we finally tracked her down again a spoon for the noodles umm in the past we always got grated cheese this cheese was slivers. So upset!!! We ate here on the night before Easter, which meant that the restaurant was not busy or crowded. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken as soon as we sat down. Once we placed our dinner order everything was served in almost perfect time, from appetizer to salad to dinner without waiting or delay. As I remember though, they only have one big tv at the bar, if not two, so this will not be a place where you would want to watch a game because they might not even show the game you want. My husband and I went Sunday to celebrate our anniversary. Upon entering, it was obvious the common area was unkempt with stuff all over the floor. The second issue was that I really didn't feel like we got $75 worth of food. The servings were very small and the lobster looked almost scrawny. The lobster bisque, which is usually good had almost a nacho cheese like consistency. To top it all off, I had ordered broccoli and when it arrived some of it was brown around the edges where it had been cut. I was polite to the server but brought it to her attention. She was very nice but I felt like she couldn't have cared less. If I am spending $20 + per plate I do not expect to see brown broccoli on my plate. Before this I had not been to Red Lobster in years. Promptly greeted & seated on a Friday afternoon early dinner for two. Extremely friendly & courteous waitress "Sarah" was to take our order. She made helpful suggestions and pointed out the current promotional selection. Not only did our courses of food arrive perfectly staggered but we never lacked or had to look for beverage refreshment. Our food from appetizer to soup to main course arrived piping hot. The salad cold, fresh & crisp - no wilted lettuce or old veggies. The waitress brought dessert and checked several times during the meal to see if everything was satisfactory. My shrimp & scallop pasta entree was perfectly balanced and seasoned with plenty of seafood - no hunting for the next bite. My dinner partner's steak perfectly cooked to order and also served very hot. The only possible slight foible would be on the stuffed mushrooms. They were sitting in a pool of water just below the nicely broiled cheese. A mystery as to why and how this happened? The cheese atop the mushrooms and their stuffing was nicely browned under a broiler. But a slight disappointment to find them "wading" in water! We will visit this chain again and were impressed with the professional caliber of the staff as well as the mostly consistent satisfying food! read more

Red Lobster is bomb. Endless shrimp should be a nationally recognized event. Literally ate enough shrimp to kill an adult whale. Burned my hand about a dozen times with the scampi but it was worth it. Feel like it was the shrimps last revenge on me and the shrimp eating society. Their last hoorah was to burn me repeatedly to ruin the enjoyment. If this was Call of Duty I would have a 50+ streak. Waitress kept going let's get some more shrimp! I've given Red Lobster plenty enough attempts to safely say this food is just not good. The service has usually been pretty good for my visits here, but that's not enough to sway my views on the restaurant. As far as food goes, the only thing I can consistently enjoy here are the complimentary biscuits (which are awesome). The seafood is of mediocre quality, and almost all of my experiences it's heavily overcooked. I know seafood scares many locals around here, but come on, you don't need it to be 100% charred to bone dry to serve it. The rice is dry, the broccoli is dry, the pasta's are dry. However the true reason I can give 0 love to this restaurant is the quality:price ratio. If I was paying $10 for this? Yeah, okay, cool enough I suppose. But getting the receipt is just a complete insult to top off the meal. I can cross this restaurant off my list. read more

They took it back to reheat and didn't come out much warmer. I realize that it was a taco with cool lettuce and fixings but they could have taken the shrimp off and reheated them separately. read more
