So much potential, so much disappointment. We stopped in the area after a snow storm and needed to find a place for dinner. It was between this and the nearby eat n park. Totally different ends of the spectrum, I know. We decided a nice Italian place fit the bill. I looked at the menu before and was surprised to see the "family meal" was $50 for spaghetti and a salad. Then again, if the spaghetti is good, maybe it's worth it. We sit down to order. The place looks somewhat upscale as you might expect. A good sign! We ordered our food and it comes out freakishly fast. Impressive, but concerning. There's no way they were able to cook pasta in thst amount of time. This means it was prepared in advance and reheated. Disappointing when you're looking forward to fresh pasta. Even worse, we could see in the kitchen and they were pouring what we think was soup out if bags. So much for fresh. Prices were decent for the pasta dishes, but salads were ridiculous. $8 for a side salad, seriously? We had one and it wasn't anything special, definitely not worth the high price. Kids meals felt like a decent deal until we realized they charge for EVERY extra. Meat? More. Side? More. My daughter's meal was almost as much as mine after everything was said and done. Icing in the cake was our waitress. We asked about the oil they bring out in the bread. She said canola oil. I received a little flyer in the mail for my birthday for a discount and a coupon for a birthday treat. We had never been to a Bravo restaurant before and decided to give it a whirl. We got to the restaurant early enough to beat the rush and we were seated and served quickly. The restaurant was peaceful with plenty of seating. I ordered a linguine dish and my husband got a pepperoni pizza and the cup of lobster bisque. My linguine was fine! It wasn't bad, but also nothing special. Unfortunately, my husbands pizza seemed to be a little underbaked and given that it was served on a wooden pizza cutting board, the pizza kind of just tasted like an old wooden cutting board, if you can imagine...seems if they would have served it on something else and the pizza wouldn't have absorbed the cutting board taste, it would have been much better--but also needed to bake slightly longer too. Though I had signed up for their rewards program and had my coupon for my dessert, she said the offers couldn't be combined...except that the flyer said they could. So let's start by saying our waitess was not attentive. She never asked if we wanted another basket of bread. My friend stopped eating her meal after discovering the egg was runny which she specifically did not want. And I was not eating my ftench toast as it was dry, it was not served with syrup. She never came to check on us. My friend said excuse me as she walked by, which she ignored, but everyone else heard(they turned around and looked at us). I was then helped by "Janice" from the staff who kindly explained the situation and assured me that she would complete my order asap. After 10 minutes waiting for a server I decided to order my dinner and two drinks when the server appeared. No server was found, not just mine, any. Disappointed! My wife and I took our 6 year old grandson for dinner. I ordered a "side" of pasta to share with him. He wanted to order a Caesar salad, and the waitress suggested ordering a salad from the kids menu... Less expensive. When the check came the charge for the "side" was $17.98, the same amount charged for the calamari. I asked the server to consider reducing the price because I ordered a side, but she said they didn't have "sides." the manager refused to discount the charge. If the server had explained they didn't offer pasta sides, I would have ordered something else, or nothing at all. Knocking $5.00 off the charge would have been impressive. Stopped in recently for a late birthday dinner for my wife with our two young sons in tow. We came early to beat the dinner rush, and were seated relatively quickly on arrival which was great. My sons shared a cheese pizza, I ordered a pepperoni pizza with a cup of lobster bisque, and my wife ordered the Linguine Woozie and a berry lemonade. Our server was pretty attentive and accommodating as we needed a high chair and a booster seat, but I wasn't ever able to get a water refill though I asked. My son's pizza came relatively quickly which was a blessing as they were hungry and we didn't want to wait too long. My pizza came out a bit later but the pizza hadn't been cooked nearly as long as my sons' and so it had too much of a doughy texture and something tasted off (maybe just undercooked?). I had a bite or two of my wife's pasta dish and it was basically chicken alfredo, but tasted pretty good. I did find a very small piece of bone in one of the pieces which was a little unfortunate, but not the end of the world. Overall the meal was just OK for me, but I was glad for the kids menu and crayons that helped entertain the boys while we ate. read more

Normally, we stop at McKnight Road Bravo but it has been closed since they had a fire a few months ago. We got a gift card for the holidays and wanted to use it on a Saturday night so we ordered online and went to pick it up. One thing I will say that made me a little uncomfortable during this Pandemic is how many people they let in to stand at the hostess area where you also pick up TO GO food. It was getting really crowded and making me very nervous. The lovely lady handling takeout orders handed me our bag and then wanted to double check that everything was just right that we ordered - she noticed they put onions on the chopped salad and ran back to the kitchen to get one without so I was left standing there feeling vulnerable, in a sea of patrons trying to get seated. Ugh ... no bueno. That said (and hopefully in a way that will allow them to improve that process), the food was really good. We got the double pork chop and the NY Strip steak. Both of them were cooked perfectly. They came with mashed potatoes and either asparagus or green beans. The only sort of bummer was that the steak flavor got all over the asparagus which I did not care for. Otherwise, totally delicious. We also got an order of the Bravo Pasta and a Wedding Soup with a Margarita Flatbread for the next night's dinner. The pasta was very good and had just enough chicken with it and a nice roasted red pepper sauce. We loved the Flat Bread that we reheated in the oven. It was super crispy and brown on the edges and had nice flavor with the basil and tomatoes. The wedding soup was a little skimpy for $5 but tasted very good. As I had eaten in this restaurant several times in the past, I tried something different ordering the lasagna. We have been going to the restaurant in Cranberry for years. We ask about the Sunday brunch. None. They were catering a party in the restaurant. We ask for water with lemon. One of the glasses no lemon. We ask for a salad with no cheese add onions. No onions, but we got cheese. We ask for lunch portions of eggplant parm. The cooks said not available. We ordered eggplant parm to share we got lunch sized portions. The eggplant was warm, the noodles and sauce were cold. Prices were too high. We won't be going back. read more

I've always wanted to try this restaurant, since I've driven past it so many times and my wife wanted to go, so we gave it a shot. It's nice inside, quite busy on a Saturday night. We made reservations, and thought it was a more upscale restaurant. Really wasn't, to me it seemed like an Olive Garden. My wife got a sangria that she really like. We got the breaded ravioli as an appetizer and they were good. Come with a garlic ranch dip and red sauce which were both good, also a nice quantity! When we ordered our meals I got the chicken parmigiana and the wife got chicken Alfredo. The chicken parm wasn't bad but not great. I was thrown off because the pasta was a garlic type and not red sauce, wasn't expecting that. The chicken Alfredo come charbroiled and really garlicky. She didn't care for it too much. The waitress was really nice but took along time to get the bill, which she apologized for but it was busy so no offense taken. My wife and I had reservations at Bravo in Cranberry two last night. When we arrived we were seated immediately. The restaurant was at about 70% capacity. It is very cozy and has a nice atmosphere. We were greeted by our server Racheal within 3 minutes. She brought our beverages and bread within 4 minutes. The bread just came out of the oven and was great with the dipping sauce. We then placed our orders which included the Insulate Della Casa salads (Excellent on chilled plates) My wife had the double marinated pork chop dinner which she loved and actually took one home as it was a lot of food. I had the Bravo pasta with chicken and it was fantastic. Rachael did an outstanding job and we were not rushed and the food came out in a timely fashion. It was the most awful experience I've ever had. It was 1 pm on Saturday and the restaurant was almost empty- there were only 4-5 tables occupied. Nobody was at the front door. There were so many servers standing and wandering around the kitchen, so I went back there to ask someone to help us seated. I posted a prior review about service issues and I have visited several times since and they have not been addressed. We have always visited on Thursdays and we're not aware of an issue to hours for happy hour becausee they have all-day wine specials on Thursdays. My last visit was on a Tuesday and we were informed that happy hour drinks didn't start until 430. Their website says that happy hour food and drink specials are from 3 to 7 PM. I thought maybe this was just a miscommunication with the server and I'm planning another happy hour/dinner visit so I just called the restaurant. I mentioned the discrepancy between my last visit and what's posted on the website and I was told that food specials start at 3 but drinks start at 4:30. Further, i was instructed that it is my responsibility to frequent the restaurant often enough so that I understand their hours. I guess that the restaurant doesn't have any responsibility for posting accurate information. Honestly, people visiting a website for information are likely first-time or newer customers and should be able to trust what they see there. The food is very good but between service issues and misinformation, I won't be back. read more

I usually get takeout from the Bravo in Cranberry, and the last few times I've had the pleasure of being served by Glorian. I've been a manager in the hospitality world for almost 20 years, and Glorian is what you wish every employee could be. He's always pleasant, professional, pays attention to detail, and goes above and beyond to ensure the customer has an amazing experience every time. Now when I call, I find myself hoping that he's the one that answers the phone when I place my order. He's a breath of fresh air in a time when great employees sadly can be hard to come by. Recently went to Bravo's on McKnight Road. Of course the hot herb rolls were delicious to start off. My husband and I shared our favorite insalada del casa salad. Slightly disappointed that they didn't have the veal parmesan, but their chicken parmesan was really good. They go lightly with the marinara sauce, but our waiter brought us a small bowl of sauce to add on the chicken. Barry, the waiter was friendly and took good care of our requests. While still operating during COVID we did not get the good Italian meal we were looking for. My wife and I were off running some errands and decided to try Bravo for the Italian lunch we were craving. While waiting a short time in a relatively quiet restaurant we were seated and made our selections from the menu. We security take advantage of the Bravo lunch specials which pair a soup our salad with a half selected portion entree at no additional cost. We ordered fried calamari to start and I ordered their Insalata Della Casa (house salad) and Jo ordered the wedding soup. I chose the eggplant parmigiana that comes with an herb linguine while Jo went with their Shrimp Scampi. We received some complimentary bread and dipping oil and then our salads and soups. Both were very good with salad being large and tasty with the creamy dressing being mixed with a well chopped salad with lots of crispy baca on bits. My wife's soup was also well made and tasty. We did though think it was odd that our appetizer did not come first when our server came over to us and apologized about completely forgetting to put the order in for the calamari and it would be out shortly. Okay, she was straightforward about the error and we were good. The calamari was a nice portion with a creamy aioli and marinara sauces for dipping. My wife thought they were a little chewy but I thought they were good. Our entrees soon followed with my eggplant and herb linguine not being what I expected. My lunch portion consisted of one thin bias sliced eggplant that was dry with a small amount of tomato sauce and some mozzarella... The herb linguine was a thick herb Alfredo sauce that was not worth finishing. My wife's shrimp scampi was fine but nothing special. Food and Beverages 3 The meal started out good and went down hill after the soup and salad and miss served appetizer. Service 4 Our server did keep up with my iced tea refills (which is a bonus in PA), and was professional about the appetizer being served out of order. Atmosphere 4 I think this is Bravo's best feature as it is a clean comfortable modern Italian themed restaurant. Price 3.5 I think the value could be here if you find the right entree. OA 3.25 I was disappointed in my entree and my wife was was Okay with hers. I don't know if we would try this chain again unless our options were limited. read more
