Half pound bacon cheeseburger with tater tots
Todd O.

Looks like a classic small-town diner when you walk in--very typical for Arkansas. The parking lot was full, which I thought was a good sign, but inside the dining area was empty. It seems most people order at the counter and take their food to go. There's no table service. Price-wise, it was $22 for a half-pound burger with tater tots (no drink included). The tots were fine, but nothing special--maybe 10 in the box, which felt a little light. The burger itself was huge. I expected two thin patties for the half-pound, but instead it came with two massive patties stacked together. Honestly, each one could have passed for a half-pound on its own. I ended up taking one off and eating it later because it was just too much at once. The diced onions were okay, the sauce was decent, and overall the flavor was good, though not quite as "amazing" as some reviews make it sound. The biggest plus was how easy it was to order online. I had to step out to take a call, so I ordered from my car using their website and paid with Apple Pay--super convenient. Next door there's a place you can grab a beer if you want one with your burger, though I wouldn't recommend it--the place smelled like cigarettes and felt run-down. Overall: solid, oversized burger, fair but not great sides, and easy online ordering. Worth trying if you're hungry, but nothing that blew me away.

Single Meat Maniac Burger, Fried Pickle Chips
Tori A.

This restaurant was recommended by the wonderful Melody from the Sultana Disaster Museum.... We ordered The Single Meat Maniac Burger with seasoned fries, fried pickle chips, fried caramel apple pie with ice cream, peanut butter milk shake, lemonade & a Coke Zero heheheh The restaurant has plenty of room to enjoy your food after you order. We only waited about 10 minutes while our food was prepared. The team members that waited on us were super friendly & very helpful. They have sooooo many items on their menu. It was so hard to choose. Everything was delicious!!!

Love the ambiance and the decor. I'm a big Elvis and John Wayne fan and they had plenty of it. The chicken and dumplins special was very good. Friendly staff. Can't wait to come again.

Wonderful service. Used the free shake coupon. Burgers were delicious. The owner/cook even came out and made balloon animals for the kids.

When we arrived, we were actually sat at a two top high table which immediately made us feel happy and grateful since we did not expect to actually get our own little spot! Then, the service we received from Ryce our waitress was so comforting and genuine! She gave great recommendations and checked on us the right amount and at the right times! Furthermore, the vibe of the restaurant was so so cute! Me and my girlfriend both expressed the desire for our future home to have a similar chic style. Lastly, the food could not have satisfied us more. Specifically, the capaccio starter plate was both of our favorite ways we've ever had it made. 10/10 would go on a date with my valentine here again!!!

We were delightfully surprised at the five star service, and the food was spectacular! I can only comment on the Lamb Chops which were the best I've ever had, and I've had lamb chops at restaurants around the world, including some very highly regarded places. Be sure to have the dinner rolls with a little butter for a special treat. If I were a resident in the area, or if I ever need to travel that direction, I would make a detour just to have dinner here. The scallops looked very good, although I did not try them.

Last night I was kept up late covering for a coworker that was off and I was so tired this morning I forgot my meeting today was moved to Forrest City from Memphis so I went to turn around here and got hungry. I was sold at "breakfast burrito" but the 5 star average review only made me more excited. I prayed last night at 2:30 am that God would give me strength to make it through this presentation today knowing I had to get up at 5am to drive. This was divine intervention. I walked in so excited that the cashier went from saying hello to being the most delightful human being I've ever met. I could not decide because I wanted everything so I settle for just 2 burritos. One for now and one for later: Sonja and Karen. They were made fresh and took less than 10 min. When I got in my car and opened the box for Karen, I felt a brief moment of pause and disappointment bc the burrito looked a little small. I was worried all the hype would be for not. It was dripping in syrup. I bit into it and the trauma bond of exhaustion and nerves from last night to this burrito experience this morning was complete. It was so good I felt like I couldn't tell someone about it without them thinking I was lying. I could've eaten 4 of them. After finishing it (quickly) I texted one of my best friends that lives 14 hours away, "I just ate a breakfast burrito so good, I moaned a little." I didn't make Sonja wait any longer. I had to have her right now. After opening her box up, I was met with a much fuller and large burrito that looked even better than Karen. I took my phone out and snapped a picture. After that I couldn't take it anymore and started devouring my second burrito. She tasted like I was a little girl and she was the burrito my dad told me to stay away from. A little spicy, messy, Tex-Mexican goodness. I didn't take my first drink after starting my breakfast until 1.5 burritos in because I didn't want to wash away anything my mouth was savoring. I don't even want to brush my teeth. I don't even want to show my face in this restaurant again out of embarrassment that they know the experience I just had after walking out of their establishment. Now I'm going to my meeting and afterwards I'm going home to my wife where I'm going to be honest about the feelings I just experienced and how God said it was okay.

Rob explained the top 5 on the menu to us and was happy to make a couple substitutions. His wife chatted with us while the burritos were being made (including making some audiobook recommendations for our road trip) and they both made us feel like friends of the family. The burritos were a knockout. In addition to my Gailene's Meat Lovin' Burrito, I snuck bites of the Karen's Maple Delight Burrito and the Bernadine's Shrimp And Avocado Burrito. I can highly recommend all 3. The seasoned hash browns were pretty awesome too. Thanks for a great breakfast and for making our Saturday morning!

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

The food is extremely tasty (and high quality) and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner, Shawn, is nothing short of a gem. He's friendly, has intelligence, wit, and integrity. I really messed up by not taking pictures on this one. I've had the burgers (phenomenal, regular and smash burger style) before. This time I tried the brunch menu and had, to name a few: *Poutine *French Canadian Toast *Maple Sunrise Sandwhich *Boozy Fried Bread Pudding *Eggs Benedict All of these were delicious. Small detail, but the crispy breakfast potatoes are perfect- soft on the inside and with this immaculate crisp on the outside. Next time I will certainly be getting the Waffle Monte Cristo. I love waffles.. I love Monte Cristo sandwiches.. seems like an ideal combo. A few friends and I have been in a few times now and this past trip he took us around the city. Again, I cannot say enough incredible things about he and his restaurant. Kooky even has food challenges: a 7 lb burger, a two-person 15 lb burger, and a four-person massive 25 lb burger! I've done the 25 lber and they were able to cook that burger so perfectly! Most places would undoubtedly have had the middle undercooked. Side note: Shawn has also won the "Tennessee Restaurateur of the Year" award. Yeah, he's legit. Go here. Do it. Do not deprive yourself from greatness.
