    Carne Asada taco on corn
    Sam K.

After passing by this taco truck for months, I decided to stop by for breakfast. I ordered the sausage and egg taco on a flour tortilla and a carne aside taco on corn. Pros: Very reasonable prices/ Cons: They take cash only, and wasn't really impressed with either of my tacos. Very average IMO. I can see myself coming back for a cheap meal in the future, but not much to write home about!

    So cute !

Taco Truck? Check ! Cheap? Check! Fresh? Check! I think that pretty much sums it up. No seriously, when you wake up starving , after having had some cocktails the night before, this place is a godsend . I ordered a vegetarian combination of potatoes and eggs . The potatoes were seasoned so well! I'm not sure what they use, but I loved it. This place is next to a carwash and it's advised not to park there , but honestly, there is no other place to park , but there. Make your own choice. You will wait about 10 minutes, but it's worth the wait. I think food trucks are a huge thing in Austin, but this one is worth a try ! Everyone is very nice as well !

I've been coming here for a legit 5 years this is THE BEST Mexican food on this side of town, yea I said it. "Taco truck" or not her food is AUTHENTIC and you can taste her passion in her food. If you haven't been here, GO!

In the world of Yelp, I love when I see ratings for taco trucks. A taco truck could get a five star rating, and that means it's an absolutely wonderful amazing and perfect taco truck. Meanwhile, a fancy restaurant might just get three stars, that means that for fancy restaurants, that one is pretty crappy. But this taco truck, located Caddycorner to the Tesla dealership, big lots, Walgreens, and sharing some real estate with budget lube, this taco truck is amazing. I love it love it love it. Not only I love it but my family loves it. Not only we all love it but all of my kids teachers love it when I bring them tacos from this place. Fresh ingredients, made to order, amazing salsa, and superduper low prices. Bring your cash, cash only. I often call them at an ungodly hour of the morning, and order as many as 15 tacos. Never disappointed. I hope I won't regret sharing this amazing secret.

Stopped here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! Tasty tacos at a great price. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Overall it was pretty delicious and authentic! Also, huge portions of food! Ordering it to go was a good choice because we took the leftovers home. They said it would be about 20 minutes for food since they were slammed, but I appreciate knowing it was made to order, so no problems there. Tried the Kaeng Panaeng and it was good overall. Huge portion size but wasn't quite what I was expecting. Salad was pretty standard but I'm glad they kept it separate so it wouldn't wilt from the heat. As for the chicken, I was hoping by itself it would be more thai inspired/marinated/seasoned but it's effectively just chopped up chicken tenders to be dunked in the curry. The curry is flavorful, albeit a bit watery, which I wish was reduced a bit. But if curry is not your thing, my friend's Kai Zabb was very good: tangy, sweet and heat all at once, so good to really switch up bites. And while I wasn't expecting sticky rice, I can't help but say it's the first time I've had thai fried chicken without it. All in all, I think its a great new place to try out, but if you've had thai fried chicken before, just temper your expectations.

I like that blend the eggs with bacon pieces so it feels like one cohesive taco. They had me at homemade tortillas. Having grown up in San Antonio, TX...home of Tex-Mex, you can always tell homemade tortillas v store bought ones. The flavor of these tortillas are distincitive. I enjoyed every, single mouthful. Today I called a head to place my order. When arrived Fernanda asked my name, she rang up my tacos for $5 in total and I was off for my morning exercise regiment. The environment this morning was laid-back yet busy. There were a number of people in the restaurant, however, they were leisurely eating that tacos and engaging in conversations.

They took "to go" more seriously than other place ever because my food was out before I could even finish looking around. This was much appreciated since I was already in a rush. Gave me food and kindly sent me on my way. In the end, I paid a little over $3 for friendly, prompt service and a solid migas taco.

You literally can miss it as I did when I initially tried to find this food truck. It is located near Ruku mechanic shop and shaved ice food truck after your drive down a relatively long path. Pacific Flame Island Grill has been touted as the lead for Austin's most authentic Pacific Island BBQ. According to Tammy, the owner, this family-owned truck serves authent ic pacific island food from Maui, Guam, Philippines, and Okinawa. It was nice talking to Tammy as she was super engaging. She draws you in with the Pacific Island history, cooking techniques and family traditions. I learned Tammy's family has a family crest which is tattooed on family members only. You have to obtain permission to get the tattoo and only one woman creates the tattoo. She indicated that their family is mainly from an area near Hana affectionately called the divorce road to Hana. My hubby and I drove up the road to Hana, which was treacherous...many one lane areas where only one car can pass and many blind curves. While the hubs and I are still married, next time we will take a helicopter to the waterfalls in Hana. Smile. I ordered the Teriyaki & Shoyu Chicken bowl. The chicken was tender with a deep, smoky char that Pacific Flame Island gets from their black iron grill. The accompanying rice was flavorful and enjoyable to eat.
