Falafel wrap
Don K.

We've been here a few times. Each visit has been on par with other reviews. My recent solo visit was just four stars. Not for quality of food. The falafel wrap ($6.99) featured crisp falafel exteriors with lettuce, cukes and pickled turnips with light tahini sauce in a pita flour wrap. Very good. A side salad was just okay and served with a dried herb oil and vinegar. My hang up is twofold: the inconsistent availability of menu items. Seems there are always selections that weren't prepared or they run out. So don't expect the craving you were having when you walked in, will be satisfied when you walk out. Second point was, this visit, the small dining area was not bussed. It seems I was there alone after the lunch crowd left. I had to clear an area to eat in. But on a happy ending, the two pieces of pistachio baklava ($4.69) from the cooler again did not disappoint. I'm better now.

It's only taken Super Cute Wife (SCW) and I 6 years to come here and wow, why did we take so long. I think for me it was simply some bias as it's in a gas station, but let me assure you this place is delicious. SCW got the Famous Falafel in a pita and I got the hummus and felafel in a pita. You also get a side which SCW chose a fresh tomato and tomato salad which I chose the carrot salad for my side. After ordering, pay, take a seat and they'll bring it to you when your order is ready. To the left of the cashier was fruit infused water and cups. The water was cold and very good. Our food was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. One thing I must note is the pita bread used for the wrap was incredibly thin yet strong and kept the flavor and the contents of the wrap inside easily. I enjoyed every bite of the wrap! The falafel was flavorful and moist without being wet. The flavors of the hummus came through and it wasn't salty like some can be. I had a few bites of SCW's Famous Falafel wrap and it was outstanding. Crisp, light flavors but hearty and filling. The service was great and the building (yes a gas station) is one of the only places in Martin County that is certified by their green building standards. Solar panels on top, efficient building materials and such attention to making a responsible green build just add so much to the experience for me. Please do yourself a favor and stop in.

Dine in or take out, isles of items to take home and make your own items or go to the refrigerator and grab a Togo box of premade grapeleaves, spanakopita, baklava, etc. I came for the kibbeh and was not disappointed! I love that they have the pine nuts in them where as a lot of places with kibbeh took them out. Deff recommend going if you are in the mood for some delicious authentic food!

For what it is, Tabuleh cafe is the absolute best. This is made to order, quick service halal middle Eastern organic food in the middle of an organic convenience food store that is also a gas Sunoco gas station. It's in a green LEED certified building run by a sweet family. Everything is thoughtfully made including the crisp fries sprinkled with Aleppo pepper spice. You have in house pickled radish with thinly sliced pickles, shawarma that is spiced and cooked just right. Whether it's the hummus or yogurt sauce everything is bursting with flavor. They even have GF millet wraps. There's a smoothie menu but I'm in a happy routine alternating between the homemade falafel wrap and the chicken shawarma. I am a huge middle eastern fan, having grown up on Chicago's Pita Inn and Naperville's original Naf Naf grill. I am a hummus snob. Considering they import their own olive oil from the holy land, no surprise this is real deal territory. You can also grab some locally made desserts to go such as Kinafa. This is a quirky, mom and pop with authentic flavors. Get past the odd location and both your tummy and pocket book will be happy.

I got their Famous Falafel in a pita and the avocado salad. Everything is so good. I've never had anything bad. I always grab a container of their Tzatziki sauce too. Delicious! I haven't been here in quite a while so I have no pics of the food because as soon as it came I devoured it. Oops. Do not go at busy lunch rush times. Lots of local business people eat here. You can go online and look at their menu, they have a great website. You can order and pick up, but if it's lunch time, pack some patience cause it fills up and since they are making much to order it can take a little while.

2nd time to this crazy fun Middle Easter/Turkish cafe grocery market in Sunoco gas station. I rate it a 3.5 star as my only disappointment was the lack of meat in my chicken shawarma wrapped in a pillowy soft pita bread with crunchy vegetables and tahini sauce. It had hardly any chicken in it a problem that could easily be fixed. My homemade hummus was 5 star, silky smooth with hint of garlic and lemon. I saw lots of prepared sides including lentil soups, chickpea and tabuleh salads, all of which looked really good. A few tweaks on the meat portion and this is probably the best Mediterranean food place in Stuart.

Worst customer service and the smallest portions. They do not have real shawarma. Avoid at all costs. Looks like they use frozen food.

Really great options for draft beer, full bar really nice ambience and interior environment and the service was spectacular as well as the food. We had a couple of appetizers, including the sardines, hummus, one of the salads, but I will say the Panini looked amazing. Really healthy good for you and of course you can get items that aren't but it looked like most of the menu was fairly Mediterranean. Would absolutely go back especially for the happy hour! Food was reasonably priced appetizers were around $15, lunch specials were around $20 and it looks like dinners ran just a little bit more than that around 25. I want to say the draft beer was seven bucks and they had some drink specials around $12.

However, on Friday I had to stop into the mall to get something and I decided that I would give this place a try. The bartender was very friendly and happy to answer any of my questions. They have a decent Happy Hour menu for drinks only. One thing on there were $6 mimosas. So I had to get one. Very good. I decided to try the Goat cheese & Kalamata plate. It was really delicious. It's small and I would love more olives. But the cheese was so fresh and easy to spread on the fresh baked bread slices. I'll definitely come back and try something else. Neat place.

It's a small place, with just 9 tables and an assortment of bar chairs inside, but there is lots of seating outside. We ordered the falafel appetizer. I'm used to a different flavor of falafel and crisper. These were okay, but I don't think I'll order them again. It did come with a nice selection of veggies and plenty of delicious sauce. We also tried the spinach pie appetizer, and it was generous and delicious, big thumbs up. Both of us ordered the gyro sandwich. One of us got fries the other a salad. The fries were good, well-seasoned, maybe could have been cooked a little more for my personal preference. The salad was a nice surprise, tasted great. Both were large portions. We both enjoyed the gyros, and they were also extra large. One of us took half of it home. We ordered takeout for tomorrow, and we aren't exactly sure what we ordered because it looked a little different when we got home and took it out of the bag. However, we are not that familiar with the menu (which is extensive), so maybe we didn't order what we thought, which was a trio that includes 2 sides (beans and a salad), spinach pie, moussaka, and pastitsio. It looks like the moussaka was missing. Service was good, portions extra large. We plan to return and will make sure we check with the server about what exactly we thinking we're ordering when it comes to the takeout, if we do that again. ETA: The takeout we took home was definitely missing the moussaka. The rest of it (pastitsio, pie, and beans) did not taste that good at all. We might give them another try, but we aren't in a hurry to return.

Went inside and there were a few people waiting on their orders and a few seated to dine-in. The young woman at the counter was very nice, had a bright smile on her face and seemed to love her job. As I began to place my order, the Greek salad with shrimp, she commented, "I just had the shrimp for lunch today and it's really good!" Then I asked for an order of hummus to accompany my salad. She informed me that they were out of hummus and when she saw the sadness in my eyes, she happily recommended I try their tirokafteri. I'd never heard of it but I looked at the description on the menu board and thought, "what the heck...sounds good, I'll try it!" 20 minutes later and I was headed home with my dinner. I must say, the meal was fresh and tasty. The shrimp had a nice char on them and the greens and other veggies in the salad were fresh, except the tomatoes! They were a bit too ripe. The tirokafteri was nice and especially with that super fresh, warm, soft, yummy bread it came with. I want to call it pita, but I feel it was more like a naan bread. My only gripe (and I've seen this a lot lately at different restaurants) is they give you the tiniest amount of lettuce in your salad. Salad, I feel, should always be loaded with lettuce as it's cheap and not very filling. This salad was my dinner and lettuce is basically water. Yes there were other veggies like the tomatoes and olives, red onion, cucumber and they gave enough of those veggies but the lettuce is what makes it. Overall though...not a deal breaker and I'd definitely come back. I enjoyed everything I ordered.

Today I had my usual Gyro and the avgolemono soup which is chicken and rice lemony soup. Soup was nice and light and well made. Couldn't taste the lemon or oregano, just the tart lemon rind. Service was exceptional. Prices were adequate and if you're a rewards member you can use your discounts which help save money.

There was only one server for the entire dining room, but she absolutely nailed it--and did it all with a smile. We started with the saganaki, which was just okay. It was firm, not very hot, and still quite salty. I'm used to saganaki being served hot and melty on the inside, sometimes even flamed tableside. My husband ordered the Greek burger, a regular burger topped with feta. He felt there was a bit too much feta, but said the meat itself had good flavor. For his side, he chose the lemon rice soup--an unusual option, but one he enjoyed. I ordered the moussaka, which comes with two sides. I chose the nicely sized salad with their delicious pink dressing (which I love) and the rice pilaf. The moussaka was really good and served hot over the meat sauce.
