I wanted to spend an evening out with my sister and Kieran took the time to answer all our questions on the drinks without hovering. Would definitely recommend this bar. Sunday night it was calm, classy, and cozy; we were told Friday and Saturday are quite busy if you want a more bumpin' vibe. Loved all of the cocktails we tried: - Golden bird - patent 5 vodka, apple jack, golden apple syrup, green strawberry bitters, Malic acid - espresso martini - patent 5 vodka, dogwood neon espresso and Kahlua - Long Island gimlet - patent 5 gin, rum, tequila, house cola cordial, citric acid. This place doesn't have beer (you can get that around the corner at Nonsuch) and it doesn't have wine. All it has is beautiful cocktails and small plates of food. The atmosphere is super romantic and dark so you'll need a flashlight at night to read the menu. There's really no complaints here but just a comment about the cheeseboard. At $26 it's slightly more than what Peasant Cookery and Smith charged but still a fairly decent amount of cheese. The only thing we would change is the crostini it comes with. It almost doesn't suit the fun cocktails so it would be nice to see them replace it with something thinner and not so hard.
