YES! The first time I've seen Chapman's since I left Ontario! I had the signature Iceburg burger combo that included a hamburger with a very generous size and well cooked all beef patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, fried onions, cheese and sauce on a sesame seed bun. It beats ANY of the fast food chain burgers HANDS DOWN! The burger was hand made and the ingredients FRESH! The combo also included any canned beverage and small fries...ummm their small is larger than any of the fast food chain large fries and they were fresh cut potatoes, not from frozen. I don't eat fries often however these were excellent. I'll get them again! The combo cost me $16.75 taxes in, now less money than the fast food chains for a similar large burger. They also have lots of extras and sides incluing onion rings although I thought the rings were a little expensive - $7.95 for small. The service was excellent. My order was processed lightning fast and I waited about 10 minutes for my order. That seems like a long time, however, for such high quality food, I'd wait longer! It's no wonder the locals patronize this place so much. It may be out of the way however for the high food quality and service, it's MORE than worth the drive to the south west end of Winkler.

They have soft and hard ice cream available, with many flavours from Chapman's. The Oreo flurry is made with pulverized Oreos. There are no chunks of cookie in there. My peanut butter sundae was pretty decent. Perhaps Mondays are a bad day for burgers. In the past, we had ordered chicken fingers and they are quite good. While we enjoy Syl's, this trip was a little disappointing particularly because we were there for burgers.
