Heard about Table from a friend who stayed in the hotel next to the restaurant and decided to give it a try after coming out of Old Town. Came around 7pm and was seated immediately. After glancing at the menu, my family and I decided to get the Lobster Pasta and Risotto which were in season, the seafood platter, and a tomato soup. Seafood Platter: I'm usually very cautiously pessimistic about seafood platters after a few bad experiences in other restaurants but thought I would give it one more chance. It came with 6 oysters, tuna tartare, chips + dip, and a pound of mussels. Highlight here was the mussels along with the chip + dip surprisingly. The mussels were cooked in a cream + white wine sauce, which was almost an ambrosia. I'm sorta sad they didn't give us some bread to soak up all the juices but maybe it's for the better because I would've consumed all of it. The dip was a black garlic + onion mayo, and probably the best dip I've had. It had the perfect amount of umami and flavor profile that turns even the blandest things into tasty bites! Lobster Risotto: absolutely must get if you come here. 100% get it. I cannot stress this enough. They give you a healthy portion of lobster on top of a creamy, addictive risotto cooked to absolute perfection. Lobster Pasta: I personally was not a huge fan of it due to personal dislike of olives which took over a majority of the dish's taste. Get if you like olives, otherwise you'll probably find something else that fits your cravings. Great service. Great ambiance. Great food. Cannot ask for much more. Definitely stop by Table if you get the chance :)

We were very happy with our dinner at Table. Not busy - which was odd for Friday - but it is Christmas weekend. Soup of the day (spinach/asparagus) was well seasoned and a smooth blend. The shrimp and lobster chowder had a lot of both plus a homemade crouton. Not too thick and had fresh corn and potatoes. We had two entrees. Favorite was the mussels with homemade French fries. Hands down best mussels ever. Fresh and large with a nice white wine and cream sauce. The poached cod with risotto and veggies was a nice size and very flavorful. Service impeccable. Last, but not least, the PUR Negroni and Paper Airplane cocktails perfectly complimented the meals. Would definitely go back.

Crepes with apple filling - delicious!

As Hotel PUR guests, it was wonderful to have Table downstairs, especially for breakfast. The omelette and crepes were excellent - and the bread tasted freshly baked. The one aspect that stood out the most to me about Table was the staff - very welcoming, friendly, and impressively attentive. They made us feel right at home! Merci tout le monde.

Food tastes good, but inconsistent. Contemporary style. Like: onion soup, very tender pork shank, steak flank. Price for dinner was reasonable, but breakfast or breakfast buffet of $18 was too expensive.

This was hands down one of the best dining experience I have ever had. I randomly came into this place and ended up eating here. I had a set menu of four courses for 40 dollars. When we ordered the server asked if when my mom wanted her food to come out because I had four courses and she had one. I feel this is the type of attention to detail that separates good from great. The food was fantastic, I enjoyed every single plate which brought something new and delicious to my palate. The wine menu was pretty good, I think I ended up have a cab sauv which I enjoyed. My mother had the tofu which was cooked excellently. I find most places don't cook tofu well, but this place was standout! I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Quebec City.

Decent spot inside Hotel PUR. I had the grilled salmon with veggies and it was great - flavorful and delicious for salmon. The place wasn't too packed but it was a Wednesday night.

Very nice restaurant in the Pur Hotel. We had a nice lunch after checking in. Amazing Gazpacho with mellon and hint of mint. We shared some crispy fish and and reuben sandwich, both ok. A great place for a snack. The huge windows overlook a church where many people linger, very safe. Many boutiques surround the area.

Nice quiet small-plates restaurant in a great part of Quebec City. Beautiful decor and great wait staff. Several good vegetarian options available, including the incredible Burrata, Watermelon and Feta salad, Mushroom Pot Pie, and Truffle Fries. Place has a great day wine and cocktail menu - I'd highly recommend the Aristocrat (gin, Rosemary, champagne). 2-3 plates per person is the right size unless you're unusually hungry. For dessert, we got the churros which were equally delicious. My only issue with the place is that the size of the plates is small for the price. However, the quality of the ingredients is very high which probably makes up for this!

Very good breakfast buffet 7-12; not open lunch or dinner now (call to check). Breakfast server said they don't have enough staff.

Personally, it was a treat for me trying out something different, but I do not think everyone would appreciate its almost raw meat and liver-like texture. The Tartare comes with fries, a salad, and crouton to round up the order. We upgraded the side of fries that came with the Tartare into their Tout Cochon poutine. I was happy with that option that way I was able to sample their house poutine without needing to dedicate a full meal order for it. I can say this was among the best poutines I have had. The gravy was rich and flavourful. The poutine was also loaded with a variety of different proteins like the Gaspor farm ham and the bacon-wrapped sausage. The perron cheese curds also perfectly topped off the whole dish. Our last order was the Quebec pork chop marinated and grilled with maple and tamari. It was served with apple chutney, sweet potato mash, and seasonal vegetables. It is exactly as you would expect with the ingredient details of the dish's name. You get a lot of different flavour profiles and textures with the meal order. Some saltiness with the pork chop then some sweetness with the apple chutney. Meaty tenderness with the pork chop, mushiness with the potato mash, and then some slightly crunchiness with the seasonal vegetables. We dined on Sunday lunchtime the day before Family Day. There were people waiting to be seated by the time we arrived, but fortunately our group of only 2 people has a table spot available so did not need to wait. We were led down flights of stairs to the lower floor which was level with the street below. The whole place with its classic walls and decor exudes with classic charm.

By the time we were finished our meal, there was a half block line out the door. This is a tightly packed restaurant with several 2 seater and some 4 seater booths with a bit of a mezzanine for customers. The staff are super efficient, friendly, and delivered the food quickly. This has a more diner feel but with the Quebec French feel. We had the: - house lemonade - soup of the day (pea) - la cochonne; this is a breakfast poutine with eggs on top, very filling and delicious, ham, sausage, etc. all chopped into bite sized and topped with sauce and cheese, for poutine lovers - le migneron; this is a standard looking breakfast with french toast, homestyle potatoes, veggies, ham/cheese/eggs, and more maple syrup on everything, best option if you don't know what you want to eat while getting the feel of the place This is another great place to visit while in Quebec, this is located in Old Quebec Ports and the walk leads you through some of the older buildings of the city as well as past many art galleries. I booked resos for six of us here on vacation as I heard this spot fills up quickly. We sat at one of their picnic benches in the center room. I ordered the breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast and hashbrowns with a side yogurt. The breakfasts are HUGE so you can easily share with someone else if you're not in the mood to eat a full one yourself. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the toast buttered and fluffy, the hashbrowns were cooked well and seasoned well which is such a bonus as I find sometimes hashbrowns are lacking a lot. The side yogurt was surprisingly the highlight for me! It came with maple syrup, fruit and granola. I absolutely devoured it! The service was great here too, and they came by with drip coffee top up! I found this place from looking at the Michelin website, and compared it with local food groups on best French restaurants in town. I booked a reservation beforehand with my family, and it was a good thing since it was really busy over the holidays. The ambiance is pretty upscale and bright. We let the server introduce us with wine options and food suggestions. We started with their take on a French onion soup, which had a cappuccino base. It was also relatively deconstructed as the cheese was put on top of the bowl. It was okay, but a bit sweet for my liking. We also shared the char carpaccio, which was really delicious. For the mains, I had the seared scallops, which was presented well and tasted even better. My parents had the flat iron steak, which was good, though they've had better given the price point. Service was excellent here. Yes it's an elevated price point, but for a French fine dining experience this placedefinitely hit the spot.
