Beausoliel (Nb) Oyster
Sarah T.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had!! Shocked that the oysters were that amazing in the mountains of NC. The pasta was so simple but perfect flavors. My husband's steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. Service was awesome. We had tons of questions about the wine and wanted recommendations and the waitress was patience with us and walked us through everything. We got a dessert drink to split and they actually split it into two glasses which was a nice touch. Romantic ambiance but also could be a fun place to go with friends. Will absolutely be back!

We stumbled upon this place last year looking for a last minute dinner reservation and knew we needed to return again. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the bar tender. The bread is incredible and I could eat about three loaves. We decided to do a little mix and match this time and started with the wings which were cooked to perfection with a salty, but almost a little sweet seasoning. The celery on the side and the blue cheese were perfect accouterments. My husband got the chicken sandwich, which was huge, with fries, which were like McDonald's fries on crack. I tried the shrimp and a veggie dish which just blows you away what they can do with veggies. We can't wait to go again and see what's on the menu.

I wish I had tried Table sooner! We loved our visit here - the service and ambiance were perfect, and the menu was fun! What a range of offerings, and you can tell each dish they offer was thoughtfully dreamed up and is presented exceptionally! The cocktails were great, and the dishes were creative. The Summer Spaghetti was truly a plate of sunshine - fresh veggies and bright flavors. I ate every bite! The warm broccolis with sunflower tahini were delicious - I wish I saved more room for them. We also dined on milk bread and oysters. I do not think you can go wrong here.

Quaint little restaurant in downtown Asheville that has wonderful farm to table food and drink. The servers are superb and very knowledgeable about the menu and pairings. We got their oysters and shrimp ceviche to start which were done right on. There warm bread and infused butter is a must to get. There farm to table vegetable dishes are a must - we got the Beet and Peach Salad and Smashed Cucumbers and Peanuts. My wife got the rabbit cappelletti which she said was wonderful and I got the corn and scallop pasta which was great! The cocktails we got were unique and tasty. Their wine list is voluminous and the servers can suggest pairings. We finished with the dark chocolate vegan gelato which was a fine ending to the night. Really enjoyed this dining experience! If you are in Asheville, give it a try!

Visited a few years ago and had to go back. Wow. One of the best meals we've had in AVL! Top notch service and superb farm fresh food. Love the local menu items. We ordered a variety of things to try. Bonus: The patio is dog friendly.

Gorgeous ambience and atmosphere--perfect for date night, or a special business dinner. Food felt very local and farm-to-table. Rabbit pasta was delicious and definitely the stand-out bite of the evening. There were also lots of veggies options, which was helpful, including several different salads to choose from. The wine list was solid, and it was a delight to explore some of the natural wine options available.

Lamb and beef kefte kabob Broccolini with sunflower tahini

I first dined at Table in November, soon after we got clean running water back. I ordered the roast chicken and it was the BEST chicken I've ever had, I've been thinking about it since. A friend visited town for the weekend so we decided to go back. The accoutrements with the chicken changed, but the chicken itself was still perfection. It's somehow so juicy and crispy. I would eat this every day if I could. We also ordered the broccolini, lamb & beef kefte kabob, and cabbage salad which were all fantastic. I'd love to try more of the vegetables and starters, but I'll absolutely be ordering the chicken every time. Side note! I was diagnosed with celiac disease and have been learning how to safely navigate gluten free options. Our server let me know the fryer is only used for GF ingredients, as even the fried chicken sandwich uses rice flour and is GF! I believe everything except the pasta and maybe sandwich buns are GF. The toast appetizer is GF.

Food and drink were good but such a weird charge on a receipt... Patio is nice!! Also the service was just ok ... nice to try once doubt I'd go back. Except to pay parking. Lot near by is $5 plus an hr durning the wk days which is lame.

To be honest, this place left much to be desired. Staff was nice but the cleanliness was mediocre, the food was as well. We ordered the ceviche first, it was okay but not mind blowing, second item we ordered was the Heidi's bread, the third was the devils on horseback but received the shrimp and ritz. We did not bother correcting it as it was already not going well. The shrimp and ritz was decent. I kept the rating high because it could've been an off day, hopefully you have a better experience.

Amazing food, great service, and a really nice environment for a dinner. Our server, Kalyn, struck the perfect balance between helpful and hands-off. A true professional. We'll be back again soon!

Came here during a bad storm and decided to give it a try and ended up loving everything. The canneloni and chicken were great! The bread service was also delicious with some salt on top.

We support locally-owned Asheville restaurants and finally made our way to Table on Lexington. The wine and cocktail menus are impressive and our server (Kareem) eagerly called upon the sommelier to answer questions and deliver a tasty Tempranillo. The pistachio, granola, chocolate grenache tart with a dollop of mint cream was the highlight of our meal. Salt appears to be a trend among some chefs and this was overwhelmingly the primary spice in several of our dishes, including the pasta & polpette (chicken meatballs) and pork schnitzel. The beet mutabal appetizer was flavorful (but salty), as was the dry-aged meet kabob. Service was adequate and attentive but with no recognition of the feedback of the high sodium content.

Their espresso martini is probably the best I've ever had -- perfectly balanced, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. Every bartender here is incredibly knowledgeable. They can make anything you ask for and then walk you through the history and origins of the cocktail like you're getting a mini masterclass with your drink. The bar itself is beautiful, with an impressive selection of spirits and a menu full of creative cocktails featuring ingredient combinations you'd never expect to work together -- but somehow they absolutely do. It's also one of the best places in the city to sit back and people-watch while enjoying a perfectly made drink. Do not skip The Times -- honestly, it's worth going out of your way to stop there.
