We stumbled in here after trying a couple bars in the area and wanting a night cap. We knew it would be tequila forward but don't come here if you don't want tequila (or beer). My husband got a beer with a shot (Mezcalada) and it was fantastic. I got one of their special tequila cocktails and it was super delicious. They had a number of options I wanted to try, if I wasn't already feeling pretty buzzed, I wanted to try 2-3. They now have one of the best taco trucks in the area parked out front which is a huge bonus. Dinner and drinks here is elevated in a stripped down kind of way. A small but mighty tequila cocktail bar, this place was quaint but had fantastic drinks and a nice outdoor environment. You can order at the front or if you sit at the bar, at the bar. I loved the drink that was similar to the espresso martinis as the coffee quality was fantastic and it did not taste too tequila forward. If you are not a huge tequila lover, they do have beer and wine but I will say, the tequila drinks were so well made that you really couldnt taste it. They have a fantastic mexican food truck up front that is a perfect accompaniment to the drinks. Service was friendly and mostly quick! read more

Super friendly staff serving up delicious coffee sourcing directly from a small family owned farm in Oaxaca! The bar and decor are all very well done and even has a patio for your well behaved pups. Finally had the pleasure of trying this little spot the other night. People have been talking about it forever and so I was thankful to get out there. Parking can be a little difficult, but there is typically some street parking if you don't mind walking. The aesthetics of this bar are absolutely incredible and you can see that they took a lot of care and attention when cultivating it. Super cozy for a small group of friends, or a date. They have a pretty extensive list and some very creative cocktails. I like that it seems as though they had fun when creating the menu. I'm not much of a sweet drink person so I opted for two tequilas and two Mezcal with Soda. I do think the price of this place is steep for what you're getting. After we paid, I noticed that the seven dollar tequila I was getting had been rung up as nine dollars. And that's for a 1 ounce. For some reason it was just labeled as something strange like sticker. Maybe they misunderstood what I was ordering? The cocktails ring you at about 13 to 15 each and they are very unique but not super strong. Great music, beautiful lights, kind and engaged staff, expensive prices. Wonderful place to take tourist and friends visiting from out of town. Or maybe for a little nightcap after dinner. Arrived there with a group where one person was a beer drinker. We ordered 3 overly priced Margaritas. The beer drinker was told they didn't have beer. So he went to the place next door got a beer and sat down. The owner came over and told him to leave or she would "rip the glass out of his hand and pour it out". Well that didn't go over well and as you can expect there was an argument that ended with all of us leaving. This could have been handled better with a less aggressive owner. People like this should not own a business where they have to interact with the public. read more

I hate this position I am in. Anoche is amazing in every way. One of the reasons I say it is amazing is because there aren't a bunch of knucklehead tourists in there routing around and destroying the vibe. Us locals are pretty chill and practice good behavior.
