Lovely place, food was fantastic! Amazing steak. And the drinks were just right. But the wait staff seems to be still kind of trying to settle in, get into the swing of stuff. They really should expound the philosophy of locally and ethically sourced menu and bar selections. It was actually my friend that explained all this to me when I asked for a Grey Goose Martini and was told they don't serve Grey Goose by the bar tender with no further explanation. Tried out Table 47 last night for the first time and we were very impressed with the waitstaff for being such a new restaurant. The drinks and food are VERY expensive. Had 2 drinks and an appetizer while waiting for our table and it came to $60! We shared the Pear Salad for starters and it was just OK in my opinion. My husband enjoyed it. The pear wasn't very ripe which makes a big difference to me in a PEAR Salad. For the main course we had the Charbroiled Meatloaf and the Harbor Stew. Both were very good. The servings are pretty generous, so next time I'd get the smaller portion. I believe they comped the dessert cuz it was my husband's birthday. The flourless chocolate cake is super! It comes with honey (in the comb), delicious cheese and a sprinkle of fruits. We had 4 glasses of wine with dinner. $170 total for the evening, not counting the tip. This is a family restaurant so there were lots of kiddos about. Just throwing that in in case you are looking for a quiet, romantic meal. 3 of us went to dinner tonight for the first time at Table47 for a family birthday. The service/waiter was very good, so I gave 2 stars for that. I went downhill from there: Ordered Street Tacos and they were cold and tasteless. Also ordered BBQ beef sandwich and the meat was cold and so tough it was impossible to eat (I had the waiter take it off the bill). We also ordered a hamburger which was the only good meal we received. The fries are tiny bits about an inch in length and I see other reviews commented on the fries too. Upper management came to the table and apologized, but for the price and limited menu, we definitely won't go back. Also thought it was odd that server asked us to take the Table47 pen and advertise for them. Unfortunately I couldn't possibly encourage someone to eat there. read more

Wait staff were pretty good, with that said I ordered the Hummus plate to start. Looked pleasing but it ended there. The dish was icebox cold. Would have preferred at least room temperature. Then there was absolutely no seasoning in the Hummus yuk. I asked the waitress for salt and pepper, she brought out a small bowl with salt and a pepper grinder. She said they can't find any salt shakers, no worries I seasoned the Hummus and what a change it was finally edible before it tasted like cold paste. Then my dish arrived looked ok but the sauce poured over my Rib Eye was greasy and broken. Not like a Demi glaze or what ever it was supposed to be. The flavors are very good but if you're arriving hungry you'll leave starved. The proportions for a full entrée are pretty small. Prices are very expensive for what you get and they could easily throw in a salad and some bread but they don't. The atmosphere and the wait staff are very nice but I honestly didn't feel like I was getting value for what I was paying. The quickest way to ruin my appetite and patronage is to make me feel like I'm getting ripped off. Between the two of us we ended up paying $90 and still left hungry. read more

My husband and I came for a date night, and we LOVED it. It is our new favorite restaurant. The thai style clams were unbelievably delicious, I had never tried clams with Thai flavor and they absolutely nailed it. The ambiance was great, our server was very kind. We got a beer flight (not sure if it's on the menu, but our waitress was quick to offer and said they do whiskey flights too!). We had a couple entrees with some combination of quinoa, duck and hazelnut smoked beets...I enjoyed every bite so much and applaud the chefs for getting creative with raw, local ingredients to create delicious food. Most restaurants now use so much salt and oil that it tastes "good" but you leave feeling gross, but this was the opposite. It was a beautiful display of local Washington/PNW food, prepared deliciously. We will be back! read more

Not terrible but not great either. Burgers we ordered were ok nothing special. Was hoping for more taste in our food. We had a salad with our burger and it was just lettuce and a couple radish slices. Service was not knowledgeable of their menu either. The coffee shop area had one carrot cake sitting in the display and nothing else. It's almost like they weren't ready to be open. The menu in the bowling alley looked good which is why we decided to try but the restaurant didn't have the same menu :( read more

We shared a Artisan Charcuterie Board - best I think I've ever had, then the 197 Burger and fries for me and the Flatbreads for my wife, son and daughter. We all agreed that the fries were also the best we'd probably ever had. Top it off with a full carafe of Proletariat Bordeaux Blend from Walla Walla and it made for a terrific first (of many to come) visit to Table 47! Nina, our waitress, was delightful and not less than three other servers stopped by to be sure we were cared for - nicely done. read more

Oh how things have changed. I still remember my first meal at Table 47, and it was insanely good. Today? Quite the reverse. Stopped for lunch, dropped $50 with tip for two people (flatbread, two bowls of soup, two iced teas) and the food was AWFUL. The flatbread could have come out of your supermarket freezer. The "French Onion Soup" came out of a can or a bag - it was thick and mucousy, adorned with some crunched up stale and oily croutons and a tiny bit of grated cheese. The soup was not even hot enough to melt the cheese. It tasted vile (and the little I ate has been coming back at me all afternoon). You pay before you even sit down so our waiter was not around to be told how wretched the food was. I stopped at the ordering counter and told the person there that our food was terrible. He said "I am very sorry you feel that way, I'll tell the chef" --- but offered absolutely no resolution.. No offer of a refund, no offer of a "do-over" (not that I would have taken it) - NOTHING. This is the second lousy meal I have had at this establishment. It started out fabulously. The Farm-to-Table concept was creatively executed and the flavors and combinations delighted and surprised. Now? It is pre-made fast food with an obscene price tag. What a shame! read more

Really wish to give them 10 Stars! I have been in management of customer service and retired after 30 years. So I tend to be brutally honest in my likes or dislikes. First and foremost the service from entering, greeting, seating, food service and the quality of food was entirely awesome! My favorite servers Sasha and Matt! Cannot say enough about the personalized service we receive. The food: I had the filet mignon which was the best I've ever had (I've eaten at 5 star establishments) my guests thoroughly enjoyed their selections as well. Sasha went beyond the norm to provide a off menu cocktail which is now my favorite. But the awesome service does not stop there. You have to experience the arcade, laser tag and bowling. I had the best time at Table 47 with friends over the weekend. The food and drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our server's name was Bella and she was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu, while still making us laugh and feel at ease throughout our dinner. She went above and beyond to ensure our experience was the best it could be! After dinner we bowled and enjoyed the music and drinks in the Ocean 5 side. I think our server's name was Alexis, and she was very nice! Overall, this is the perfect destination for family and friends to come have fun or to just sit and relax. I ordered the 47 burger and was highly disappointed. The bun wasn't warm when it came out, the burger didn't even look like hamburger, it was gray and and tasted horrible. My son had the same thing and we both agreed we didn't know what we were eating and would rather have a McDonalds burger, which says a lot. Worst burger/ meat I've ever had. My daughter ordered chicken strip with fries, I asked the waitress to please just bring plain fries without the Parmesan and parsley. Her fries came out cold and had parsley all over them. She didn't want to send it back because she is afraid to send back food because of the usual retaliation from cooks, so she just didn't eat her fries and was left with 2 small chicken strips for dinner. I did mention to our waitress if are these considered plain fries? She said that it was her interpretation then proceeded to not even offer to replace them. We left eating nothing because it was disgusting food. Left after paying a $60 dollar bill and went to Montezuma's. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Possibly the worst restaurant experience that I have had in awhile. The only reason I booked a reservation here was because they have a brunch buffet (not usually my thing, but we needed the flexibility with a large family gathering) and I stated that when I made the reservation. We found out when we got there that they had stopped offering the brunch yesterday. I really feel that they should have mentioned that when I called on 3 days ago to make the reservation. Then, they got two orders wrong, (one being scrambled eggs versus over easy)which resulted in my 91 year old grandma having to wait 10 minutes extra while they cooked her eggs and everyone else had their food (they still showed up wrong-sunny side up). Add to that horribly rubbery scrambled eggs for those that got them, water glasses that smelled like fish, French toast bites that tasted like white bread dipped in too much cinnamon, whipped cream forgotten for two people...they were all such novice mistakes, for a place that charges so much, they shouldn't be happening. The value absolutely was NOT there and I wouldn't recommend anything about this restaurant. read more

Let me start with I (still) have high hopes for this place and therefore want to provide feedback as I really really want to keep coming back. The menu is creative and interesting and sounds just like a great food/restaurant option to one of my favorites (The Table) that I've been looking for. However, the wait staff was uninformed; did not know the food on the menu or food on our plates. We started with 3 small plates and a cheese/meat board - the fresh fruit was very good but the cheeses, charcuterie and pork belly were too small to share with others at the table and overall nondescript. I did like the small dollops of liver mousse. Wait staff did not pick up the dirty plates and so when dinner arrived there was no room for entrees. I had the duck with quinoa and rutabaga. The duck (was that really 4 ounces??) was way over cooked. The rutabaga was warm but barely cooked and I had extreme difficulty cutting it with a knife. Others had burgers and a couple others had flatbreads. One flatbread was overly salted and the other we think they missed adding the Himalayan sea salt. Oh - and our dinner wines arrived just as we were finishing dinner. Overall the table vote was mediocre at best. Place has a cool vibe. My hopes are high but we all know hope isn't a method. Went to Table 47 for the first time tonight to celebrate a family member's birthday. The service was extremely slow, despite the lack of business. The floor underneath our table was discusting, it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned. I ordered the coho salmon, my daughter ordered the hangar steak and the guys ordered burgers. The guys got their food at least 5-7 minutes before we did and were half way done by the time we received our meals. I instantly questioned my salmon, it was white and smelled fishy. I was told it was a genetic mutation by the server. The "chef" then brought my plate back and tried to tell our entire table it was a genetic mutation but assured us it was salmon. I have eaten enough salmon to know, it was not salmon and it certainly wasn't fresh. I refused the dish, by then everyone at my table had eaten and I was pissed at the lack a integrity of the "chef" and "upscale" restaurant. Some guy, the manager I guess, he was wearing a football jersey, came over and offered me a $20 gift card. A $20 gift card, where am I, Buffalo Wild Wings? I said forget it, I would NEVER come back, nor would I give it to anyone. They gave me the bill, $135, comped NOTHING. I paid the bill, no tip. WIILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND. These people have no integrity. This is not an upscale restaurant, it's nothing more than a high priced version of Applebees. read more

The mushroom flatbread appetizer was under seasoned, lacking basic salt and pepper, and/or even a bit of lemon juice to brighten it up. The burger I ordered cooked medium was cooked well done and dry. The bun was also dry. The French fries were limp and luke warm. The salad was limp and room temperature. After sending back my first entrée my second entrée was the salmon, which I ordered medium rare. It was overcooked on the outside and undercooked in the middle. It was served with raw beets with the dirty skin on which I actually had to spit out because it was like eating dirt. The peanut butter mouse dessert was fair, but the crust was too salty and it was small with barely any fruit or whipped cream (very small serving). Even though the waitperson didn't charge for my entire meal, my sisters, who were treating me to a birthday dinner paid over $100 for their meal. Too expensive! My older sister suggested the restaurant learn to cook from me - simple well cooked ingredients with good flavor, filling and satisfying. To add insult to injury, when I left the restaurant it was dark - all the parking lot lighting was off, so I had to walk alone into a pitch black parking lot by myself. Really absurd. There were light posts everywhere, but just not on. I believe in the concept of farm to table and locally sourced food. That's how I cook. I grow my own vegetables and prepare all my food from scratch. However when the cooks (I don't believe there were any chefs) don't know how to prepare good quality food it is inedible and not worth the several hours we spent there or certainly the cost. In addition there are no sound absorption materials in the room we were in, therefore as it filled up with people we could no longer hear our conversation without shouting. I am a Gig Harbor transplant originally from Seattle. I have lived here 20 years. There continues to be only a few restaurants worth going to for me and this one is not it! Kinza, Lele's, and Devoted Kiss get my business when I'm not eating at home. read more
