This is a beautiful and delicious addition to the Spokane culinary scene. The decor and sheer size of the restaurant is impressive. It was clearly designed in a tapas theme with large seating spaces to encourage groups to share luxurious meals together. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was over the top delicious. We ordered the string fries (they seemed to be quite popular, the brisket street tacos, spinach persillade, crunchy tuna rolls, and what may have been the tastiest dish, the shrimp and heirloom grits. This isn't a cheap night out, but oh so worth it. There isn't a single item I didn't want to try, so yes, I will be back! read more

I had a planned night of good food and a nice show. We started with the Davenport valet... great service. We went to eat at Table 13 on a show night, so reservations were necessary and, I didn't have one. My mother is handicapped and uses a motorized scooter. They suggested that we eat in the whisky bar. We didn't have much room at the high table that was available, and the seating was uncomfortable. We got to move before the food came. The service was horrible. The soda I ordered was empty,she never offered me another or option for refill. The food was awful. We had a limited menu and the selections were hard to pick one that I would like to eat. read more

2 stars is a generous rating for my experience last night. While the food was just ok, the service was horrible. When I first got to the restaurant, I was completed ignored while waiting to check in with the front desk. Once seated, it took a while for the server to even come acknowledge us and then it took half an hour to get our drinks. The food was the same way. It took forever! We got seated at 5 and didn't get our check until 7. It felt like we were continuously waiting for the server. Both of the tables next to us had similar things happen too. One table had to wait 45 minutes for a server to even come over and give them water. For such a high price and being inside the Grand, I would expect a lot more out of this restaurant. read more

Wouldn't recommend. The beet and burrata salad was good but my duck was way over cooked. I ordered medium rare and there was zero pink and it was more like well done. Not much flavor, not tender. The gnocchi served with it was nice and fluffy but again, no flavor. It was called mushroom gnocchi and was supposed to have burrata cheese but there were no mushrooms and no cheese and a couple caramelized onions. Really disappointing after reading reviews that it was a nice place to eat. The food is very ordinary and they don't serve one vegetable. They only have starches for sides. If this were just a pool hall or a pub, I would say it's a pretty decent menu for that type of atmosphere but because they are obviously going for the high brow effect, unfortunately they fall short. The table service was lacking as well. No one checked on us and we sat there waiting to pay for a while. I will say a few nights earlier in the whiskey bar section, the bartenders were fantastic- friendly and happy to oblige. They get 5 stars!! read more

Nice environment, an extensive drink menu and the prices are not out of line for being as nice as it is. However, there isn't much for local stuff. Staff was quick and friendly. Very helpful on suggestions and what was popular. I will go back again, when the weather is nicer to check out the upstairs patio. read more

I was recently in Spokane for a friend's lovely wedding, and I had the good fortune of staying in the Davenport Grand. Of course the hotel is very nice, but this restaurant was one of the highlights of my trip. My friends and I went in after a long day of driving, and we ordered a bunch of different food and drinks. Between the three of us, we ordered most of the signature cocktails on the menu and every one of them was great. The food we ordered was also delicious, and the bartenders were both super charming and nice. The atmosphere is pretty chill as well, so this is a nice place to spend some time chatting with friends. If I ever happen to find myself in Spokane again, I will definitely make it a point to visit Table 13 again. read more

Never Got Our Food - quite possibly the worst dining experience I've had. We had to ask for a server to come to our table 15+ mins after we were seated. We had to ask for water, which I'm glad we did, because that is all we got after 1 hour+ of waiting for food. Finally as we were leaving, our thrown together salad arrived. Are here on Valentine's Day. Restaurant was not super busy or overly crowded which was nice. The waiter was attentive and placed our orders/ brought our items out with efficiency. The crab cake was to die for. The shoestring fries were quite good as well. The tuna poke was a bit to oniony for my taste. Brussel sprouts were great. Halibut and prime rib sliders not very tasty. Short ribs were delicious. Coconut prawns were amazing. The beef tenderloin was good, cut it like butter. All in all the experience was a good one. Had some great food. The restaurant is beautiful and definitely lives up to the name of the hotel it is in. Parking was a breeze, parked in the grand hotels parking garage. I joined two colleagues here for dinner while traveling. Both the service and food were exceptional. We ordered multiple items and shared most. Some of the best food I've had in ages. I only wish I had discovered this wonderful restaurant sooner. Alas, I'll be in Spokane again soon and hope to have an equally amazing experience next time! Then he told me my drink would take "a while" because he had to take care of his server first. He was busy but there didn't seem like there was a lot of people in the main restaurant. This place has potential to be 4 or even 5 stars but it gets a ding for not listening to its patrons on Yelp. Table 13, you should take note of your reviews and make a couple easy tweaks that are repetitive here .. first, do NOT leave the front of the house without a person to greet those coming in the door. We waited 3-5 minutes and would not have known what to do but for notice from other criticism re this issue on Yelp. Then, we asked for a booth and she had to leave again to wander the restaurant and see if there was one available. Huh? Why does the hostess not have that information either in her head or in the computer up front? And why can't servers that are not busy stand at the front to greet when she is doing her thing? We grabbed a drink at the bar while they got a booth ready for us. Drink was GREAT (whiskey, lemon, syrup, mint) but Manhattan was a little off. And, why can't the bar transfer that bill to the restaurant tab. Upscale place in an upscale hotel with brand new technology should be able to handle this. Bar tenders nice and attentive. But why is the whiskey list at a self promoting whiskey bar so lame? With so much going on in the spirits world right now, you should be able to get some really out there stuff; the normal brands, even if you have everything they do, will not cut it in a "whiskey bar" today. Not even in Spokane. Our server could not have been better. I wished I remembered her name to report. She's a keeper. Menu is great. Prices are high for Spokane but completely reasonable. Wine by the glass was limited and beers on tap lacked an amber or red selection. Wine by the bottle was pricey but decent for sure. Food we had: *Shoe string potatoes - done perfectly but truly shoestrings .. no soft potato at all. Great snack to share for the table b/c HUGE. *Spinach - FANTASTIC .. 5 Stars, easy. Might be best I've had in a restaurant but NOT healthy by any means. * Brisket tacos - also 5 Stars, which as a Texan, I rarely find myself saying since I moved to Spokane. Simple and perfect. Tortilla right on too. * Thai ribs - 4 Stars but only because of the cut. The flavor was 5 stars and they were cooked perfectly. Cut was thin and strange. Slaw was good too. * Quinoa, arugala and mushroom salad was good and clean eats. But there were literally no mushrooms in it. When we asked about that, the explanation was that they are chopped so small you can't see them. I think that wasn't correct .. plenty of asparagus that you could see and taste .. my guess is the kitchen had no or bad shrooms and plenty of great asparagus. It was still good .. just not what we ordered. They credited this dish which was really nice and unnecessary. That was too much food for 2 but we enjoyed it all. read more

Amazing bar! The guys at the bar know their stuff. They don't just pour drinks. My husband loves whiskey-I can't stand it. He told the bartenders to make me a drink with Whiskey without me recognizing that whiskey was in it. They prepared me a Rye me to the Moon. Had Fresh raspberries in it-loved it! We saw it had a 4.5 star rating on open table so decided to go for our anniversary dinner. We got there a little bit early and they sat us at a regular table when we asked for a booth and they were able to switch us to a booth but gave us of attitude while doing it. Then before we could even look at the menu the waiter came and tried to take our order obviously we were not ready so asked him to come back. we ordered our drinks and appetizers and our meal. after the appetizers were delivered they brought our meal.we hadn't even gotten halfway through our appetizers so we asked them to take it back and re- fire at when we finished. They said they would refire them but when they brought it out my husband's duck was luke warm and dry in the gnocchi was also dried out so it appeared to have been under some heating lamp but they denied and said that it was remade but it was unedible so my husband sent it back again then they came and told us that that was the last order of duck for the night and it was 7:00 p.m. so he ordered a salmon dish which came out in about 15 minutes and was delicious. However they do not understand timing and had the nerve to tell my husband that don't worry we will not charge you for the duck. you would assume at a high end restaurant that that wouldn't even be an option. Since my gnocchi was pretty good I had wanted to try the rolo dessert so we gave them another chance and tried it and I have to say it was amazing but they did nothing special for anniversary nor did they even acknowledge it. Went with my wife just to try a new place to eat. Got a little excited when I saw the size of the whisky menu - huge selection. I had the Manhattan and the Old Fashion - never had drinks any better. My wife does not drink alcohol, so we were happy to see the non-alcoholic drink selections. Tried a variety of the tapas plates, and enjoyed the diversity of the menu - made it tough to make our choices. The food kept coming, and we kept tasting. We felt that the portion sizes were just right, and the food was well thought out in regards to flavor fusion and was cooked to perfection. It was a very pleasant experience for both of us. Higher rating for food but spotty service drove the experience downward. A spicy ahi tuna roll arrived with wasabi and ginger but no soy sauce.
