Had a nice dinner here one evening in Madrid.
Located on a side street off of Plaza Mayor, we tried to have lunch here, but it was so crowded with a long wait, so when we backed by for dinner, we were able to get a nice table outside.
Location does make this a tourist spot, but the night I was here it was all regulars and locals. Serving Tapas, Paella, and drinks. The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly.
Pulpo A La Gallegga - Spicy Octopus on top of potatoes. They used real Hungarian Paprika, that made the whole dish.
Sepia A La Plancha Con Ali Oli - Grilled Cuddlefish with a nice garlic aioli sauce. Wanted to try something new, so the waiter suggested this and he was right on, as this was very good, in a calamari sort of way.
It was a nice evening, we sat outside, watched the people walking by and had a good dinner. Prices were excellent, but I found everything in Madrid to be much less than the states. read more
