Lamb chops and chicken
Design M.

Great, tasty food. Quick delivery with all the sources the garlic banana is highly recommended and the lamb chops.

Lovely "outdoor" seating area!

This was a very nice restaurant. Love that they have a "patio" area that is indoor but has open windows so you're not sitting outside on the sidewalk but it is open air. The fried calamari appetizer was delicious. I had the beef kabobs which was still pink in the middle and was seasoned so well. Loved it. WMy friend had the shredded beef and chicken platter and was disappointed. It was dry and rather tasteless. While there was sauce on the side and table, it didn't really help the fact the meat was disappointing. The Lebanese coffee was delicious. Overall the food was very good though.

This was a very good restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice. The staff was very attentive. Never had to look for our waiter. I had the lamb kabobs, and they were very well prepared. They were tasty and cooked perfectly. Tender.

Amazing dinner last night at Tabboule! Salmon was perfect! Hummus in the best. We always have a great meal here.

(From Left, Clockwise) Falafel, Hummus, Fattoush Salad, Babaghanoush, Special Eggplant Dip (not sure if this is on menu but was delicious!!)

Horrible! Not fresh. The food tasted from the can and overcooked beef. Not worth how expensive it is.

Very nice people, but unfortunately the food/falafel was extremely greasy. Even the rice had a film on it.

That even includes their pita bread, which is made right in house. We tried the chicken kebab, kofta kebab and lamb chops, which all come with an abundance of rice and salad. The platters are flavorful, tender and filling. Then we got into the mazzah which is essentially a bunch of dips worth trying! I loved the hummus which was soooo fresh. We also got the fried kibbeh, falafel and fried cheese. All of these items were super easy to eat, great finger food options as this is a takeout spot. And you can't forget the drinks! We tried their mint lemonade, regular lemonade and strawberry mango, and they were all equally refreshing. I loved how easy the whole takeout process is. You can order with someone at the counter or use their self-ordering system, grab your food and go. Everyone we interacted with was super pleasant. I really liked the clean dining area too. I'd been dying to finally try their renowned Palestinian food. I came on a Friday night, and the restaurant was packed with families and large parties. They even offer valet parking--which tells you something about how popular this place is. And forget paying extra for bread. They start you off with a whole basket of 4-5 pieces of soft, house-made pita, along with pickled vegetables. The menu has both small plates (hot and cold mezze) and entrees, but we really wanted to sample as much as possible, so we went with the small plates. We ordered the fried cauliflower, fried cheese, lamb and beef sausage, and falafel. Everything was truly incredible, and the portions were very generous. The cauliflower was a little oily, but that's to be expected with fried cauliflower. It still had an amazing crunch, and they brought us complimentary toum and hummus for dipping, which was such a nice touch. The fried cheese was incredibly fresh and crispy with a light saltiness that made it hard to stop eating. But the falafel was the star for me--and probably the best I've ever had. Falafel usually isn't something I order first; I'm pretty take-it-or-leave-it about it. But these completely changed my mind. They're longer and more oblong than the usual round falafel, and the texture and flavor were fantastic. The lamb sausage was also really good. The only item that felt just okay compared with everything else was the beef sausage. On the drinks front, they don't have fountain drinks--only Boylan sodas. Sadly, no Diet Coke, but that was a very minor point. The service was amazing all night, and between the generous portions and all the different plates, we had plenty of leftovers to take home. They also have a smaller takeout location very close by if you can't get a reservation at the main restaurant. Overall: Al Basha absolutely lived up to the hype. Incredible Palestinian food, generous portions, warm service, and some seriously memorable falafel. Definitely worth the trip to Paterson.

Located on busy W Palisade Avenue in downtown Englewood, my partner, our friends, and I decided on Antioch Restaurant for a celebratory dinner before a show at the nearby Bergen PAC. We made a reservation for a party of five via Yelp. I paid $59 for the grill platter and received lukewarm, dry meats. The only item that came out 80% hot was the kofta kebab, which still had a little juice left in it. The dips, however, were absolutely PHENOMENAL. They literally came out 45 seconds after we placed our order. Which was kinda crazy but aight, fast service I guess. Honestly, I don't see myself returning. Looking around the restaurant, it seemed like everyone was ordering the same grill platter, so I can't imagine I was the only table served dry, borderline-cold meats. As I cut into the different meats on my plate, there was virtually no juice at all. Everything was dry. My poor filet mignons! However, chicken kebab was edible cold because the yogurt marinade helped keep the meat tender. But grilled meats should be juicy served right off the grill!! The flavor was good though. But every bite felt like my throat was gonna close up, which was incredibly disappointing given the price. You can clearly see from my picture how dry my filet mignon was and there's no meat juices on my plate at all. The grease you see on the plate was from the kofta kebab I ate, which was the first warm meat I tried. :(

Lastly, and very importantly, every time i've been there and asked for my leftovers to take home, the server will ultimately just throw a couple of boxes and a bag on table and walk away. I went last night after a concert at the MetLife stadium near by. Once we were seated they brought out plates for the table and every one of the four plates given to us had charcoal dust on them, which isn't alarming at an establishment that serves hookah. We asked the waitress LAMIA if she can change the plates, Immediately she caught an attitude. She was adamant they weren't dirty but went to get us new plates as requested. The great thing about outside seating at this establishment is that the windows are wide open so you can see inside. We watched as LAMIA walked over to her coworkers to complain, stomp her foot and have an attitude driven tantrum while she filled them in on our request for new plates. For the rest of dinner we were greeted with the rudest attitude and treatment of distain from this server. She didn't want to speak with us. She didn't want to serve us. Thank you for runing our night LAMIA. She even brought the check over while we were mid eating our dinner, put it on the table and walked away without a word. Rushing us out without even acknowledgement. Paying $200 for a meal with that sort of treatment makes for an interesting end to our evening. We were raised with manners so we continued to be polite and thank her each time she dropped off an item. Makes me question if our food was tampered with because we even found a piece of hair in our meal. We all have long jet black hair down our backs so this hair definitely was not ours. But didn't feel comfortable to speak up due to the treatment we were already receiving. The service industry is for those who enjoy curating a space of fun and enjoyment for consumers. I would think twice about going to this establishment if you're looking for a good time.
