Surprisingly disappointed with Crystal Perfections. I had really high hopes for Crystal/John as he…read morewas highly recommended by our landlord and had glowing reviews. Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with his services, and would caution anyone booking with him that price increases can be expected. I called Crystal Perfections to request a quote for carpet cleaning a ~1300 sqft 3 bed/2 bath apartment. I was given a $150 estimate and proceeded with booking an appointment. The day of service, I received a text from John saying I had more carpet than expected and he increased the our cost from $150 to $270 (nearly double). When I asked why, he said we effectively had 6 rooms, not 3, that needed cleaning (one, of which, was a small hallway), and that the square footage of the job does not matter, but number of rooms matters. This was not communicated during the initial quote, and John would not honor his quote, nor meet in the middle on pricing. I ended up paying full price as he had already cleaned the apartment when he notified me. I found John to be very unprofessional and do not recommend using his services.
