While I paid him $315 to update Windows 11 which was difficult because of my older hardware, it wasn't the initial reason for my call. My Outlook / Gmail issue was the reason I called which he never resolved. In the end, he shocked me by turning out to be terribly undependable. During his fix time, my all-important Address Book was lost and couldn't be found. I was eventually able to recover it myself and called him back to finish completing the setup. I left (5) voicemail messages to call me back, but he never did. (He had also told me he'd call me at 9am when he had to cancel our appt. When it got late and no call, I called him. He said he just woke up, that he'd call back in an hour because he needed his coffee first. He didn't think it would take long to fix. I had an appt that I ended up missing as I waited for him to call me back. Finally at 10:05am, and still waiting for his call, I ended up having to call him. It took him more time than he estimated and he never resolved the problem(s).) Finally I called NW Tech Expert and proceeded to leave them (3) messages explaining what happen and to please call me. I even asked on one message if Antonio was ok since I was surprised he never returned any of my calls. I've been waiting now for (3) days for them to call back and still nothing. It seemed they have both blown me off and I have no idea why. I believe you can now see that they are not trustworthy. Obviously if they find your task too difficult for them to solve, they'll easily abandon you without a word!

I do not recommend anybody using them without getting clear information on the fees that will be charged up front. Not customer focused in my opinion.

I ordered a PC in December 2022 to be built from this guy when he had his shop on 99. I believe I have been patient enough so I am now going to leave a one star review for this shop to let people know that he ripped me off. To make things worse he even asked me to "borrow" $300 in January. So I'm glad I didn't loan him that either or else I'd be out another $300. Edit: you paid me interest that was agreed-upon for holding onto my money for so long. Had I done a simple chargeback that money would've gone back into my bitcoin account. I lost thousands of dollars by letting you hold onto my money. Then you asked me borrow $300 this January when we discussed the last $500. So if you're saying you can't afford to pay me the $500 now, how would you have afforded to pay me back the $300 you asked to borrow? I didn't feel comfortable loaning you that $300 because you still owed me $500. Now you're trying to spin it to make me look greedy when it seems more like you're now not going to pay me the $500 you owe me because I didn't loan you $300 more. Not to mention I had to chase you down and text you repeatedly to get you to refund me. Which is why you started paying me extra. Every time I wanted payment in full you offered me $500 so you could hold onto my money for another six months. So don't act like you did me the favor here. This is not me asking you for extra money. This is money you agreed to pay me in January. You said you would pay me $250 on August 17, then again on August 30th. I will revisit this review if you pay me as you said you would.

He has excellent hours including evenings and weekends, which is great for me because I can't ever escape work during the regular business day. Did I mention how reasonable his services are? $40 per hour, flat! I've paid a couple hundred dollars in the past for work that I'm certain took a maximum of 30 minutes to do. Jeff is honest, thorough, and friendly. He doesn't try to nickel and dime you or sell you something you don't need. In fact, he's a big proponent of open source (free) software and has helped me select programs that are really useful. I have two Macs and he solved my wireless networking problems, selected and installed an external hard drive for my documents, music, and photos, set up a wireless connection between my iTunes and my speakers, even advised me on the best peripherals for my price range. His service doesn't stop when he leaves your house, either. If he finds something that he thinks will be useful for you, he'll send you a link and advise in an email. I'm so glad I stumbled upon his Yelp listing. I was about to pay a lot more for half the service. It also feels good to support a local business.

When I arrived at the kiosk, the guy told me $170. I said "really?" And he said "yes, they're expensive." Told him I was quoted $150 and he said "oh okay sure no problem." Took about an hour which is exactly what he quoted. That wasn't bad, although when I called they told me 30-45 minutes. All good there, no big deal. I picked up my phone and there was a noticeable scratch on the backing. I pointed it out to him and he said "it's okay!! Next time you break it, come back and I'll help you" what?? Next time I break it? lol. I asked him if he'll go down to $140 since it's scratched and he said no. After tax I paid $165. Wouldn't be irritated with the price if it were really good quality. The MagSafe doesn't even work anymore and I can no longer use any MagSafe mounts on my phone. Good thing I'm upgrading soon, but I wish I didn't bother replacing the back. After leaving the store, I noticed the kiosk at IRepair Xpert. I decided to see if there was any chance to bring my phone back to life and I'm so glad I found them. The owner Moni, said he was able to fix my phone and would have it done within 45 minutes. What I was extremely impressed with was that he took the time to show us all of the components and tell us exactly what was wrong with my phone. During the diagnostic, we saw what was wrong and he showed us what was being fixed. The knowledge and skill that he presented was just absolutely amazing, I couldn't believe he was able to fix my phone in only 20 minutes and a huge corporation like Apple couldn't repair my phone!
