Cons: The boba names are confusing! It's not clear what they are or what hints of flavor they have (no explanation on their menus, you have to ask every single time e.g. Ballet Chocolate; Elegant Rose; Jadeite Tea; Snow Globe; Potted Milk Tea--SERIOUSLY...) Their milk teas are not the best. Topping selection is good. The place itself clearly needs improvement it lacks interior design/ good aesthetic (I wouldn't go there to hang out with friends). Their most basic/plain milk tea is not basic--it has a floral hint to it. Staff are not as friendly. Pros: Great location. Awesome parking! Topping choices is good. That's about it. read more

I love bubble tea and like that we now have several places to choose from in this area. I think what sets this place apart from others is their huge (and somewhat overwhelming) drink menu and convenient location. My reason for knocking a star is that it took almost 30 minutes for me to get my order and the string beans I had were so salty they were unpalatable. Stopped by here twice so far since they opened. The menu screen is huge found on the left as you ever. First time was the end of their soft opening when every drink was $2.50. Can't beat that! And the line wasn't too long either. I ordered the fresh milk tea with mini Tapioca. Not a fan of the minis but it was good overall. Second time I stopped in with a group of 5 on a Saturday late afternoon. It wasn't too busy and it looked like we had just beat the rush. Everyone seemed to enjoy their drink choices. I ordered the oolong milk tea with aloe, 1/2 sweetness. It was just right. I hardly try new things but I'd be down to come back to try other items. (Snacks perhaps) on the menu. They also have punch card. The interior was clean and there's plenty of seating. Staff was nice and professional and it didn't take long to get our drinks. I was recently there and had the privilege by cashier name Kayden. She had taken our order which included 3 teas and a popcorn chicken. However we had ordered a royal mango green tea and gotten a royal peach green tea with angel boba. When we had gotten home, it had come to our attention that the tea was wrong, as well as a oolong milk tea with lychee and boba. We had gotten the oolong fixed per Kayden fixing it. HOWEVER instead of fixing the entire drinks, Kayden just dumped 50% tea out and filled the rest with boba. The drink was essentially all toppings with 30% tea. Regarding the other drink, we called explaining the drink to Kayden and they were really unapologetic about it and gave us 2 free drinks. Kayden and a the other staff needs to be brought up on customer service and how to dress professional in a food service industry. We thought her attire was unprofessional as it did not seem appropriate for serving boba and her on her phone was very unprofessional. The milk tea is delicious but the staff and wait time completely ruin it.. they're not friendly, hardly answer the phone for orders, take at least 15 minutes any time of the day to complete an order in store. It's always a long wait when you order in store. Tonight I tried calling for 15 minutes with either no answer before closing and I was already on my way there. They repeatedly ignored my calls and answered/hung up (probably so they didn't have to take an order before closing) and then answered and when I told them I had been calling to place an order he said "ok bye bye" and hung up. T4 has a decent selection of tea flavors you don't always see or hear of at other boba shops. You'd be hard pressed to crave a flavor and think you'd get it from here, because you probably won't find it. Just go in with the idea that you're going off of their own unique menu. I find myself a little overwhelmed by how they name things so differently that it takes me a while to figure out what I want. I usually go for something a little more bland because of that. I love that they have popcorn chicken on the menu so I'll normally get that as well and they do a good job of it. I wouldn't think to have basil mixed into that and it tastes good. read more

Will be back, drink menu is pretty large with many things to try. They use actual milk in their drinks which is really rare considering 99% of places in Portland uses milk powder. So that was nice to see! Bf and I went and we're both really picky about our boba, but this place exceed our expectations. We got the amber pearl latte, and the snow globe pearl milk tea with egg pudding. The milk tea had a nice fragrant tea flavor! The agar pearl has a nice chew to it, and their egg pudding was decent (tasted kind of mango-y to me? Sort of like mango pudding lol) we got their standard sweetness which is 80% and it was not overly sweet, just perfect. Can't imagine how sweet 100% would be. The amber pearl latte reminds me of the deerioca milk from The Alley! It has a nice amount of sweetness/brown sugar from the pearls that the milk was nicely sweetened without being too plain even when I got 50% sweet. It reminds me of the milk you have left over when you finish a bowl of cereal. The reason for the 4 star review and not a 5 star review is that the pearls were not cooked through consistently. There were some that were undercooked, super hard in the middle. The others were overly cooked where it was super mushy. Not sure if it's because we went 30 mins before closing but i couldn't fully enjoy my drink because it was such a hassle having to spit out the ones that were hard as a rock. Hopefully next time I can update the review when they fix their pearl problem. read more

Horrible customer service. Very dissatisfied with their staff. I asked for boba and they said they didn't have any, which is fine. I asked what the would suggest for a substitute instead of the boba, they said nothing so i went ahead and ordered just rainbow jelly. Then the next person in line order they also asked for boba and the employee said they didn't have boba but they had small boba... so practically giving the other customer a replacement that she didn't even give me an option for. Everyone should read my review before taking your kids to T4. We had an incident at T4 last Saturday. My 16 month baby accidentally broke the porcelain cat that was displayed at the cashier desk. I know that if it happened inside the store, I am not responsible to pay for the damages because any store/restaurant would have insurance to cover the expenses. However, I was willing to pay as an apology. The manager-Michelle, came over and her attitude offended me. Instead of asking if my baby was okay, she was blaming me for not paying attention or watching my baby carefully. She told me that sometimes she has to be rude to parents like me. She wanted to charge me between $150-$200. According to her, this porcelain cat was brought from Japan and it's "very expensive". I was shocked to hear the amount, then my friend came over and tried to negotiate with her. She finally said she gave me a discount so I ended up paid $70 bucks for the porcelain cat. I was trying to explain to her that the porcelain cat wasn't displayed in a safe place. My daughter was sitting in the stroller, and she somehow was still able to reach to the cat. This is a bubble tea place so an incident like this can happen with any kid. It should be displayed somewhere else so it's safe for kids. However, the manager ignored my explanation. She still charged me that amount and asked me to pay attention next time. Did you know that porcelain cat fell right in front of my daughter's head? What if I was not a responsible person and blamed it back to your store? Instead of asking if my baby was okay, you insulted me and made me feel like a bad Mom. This is how you treat your customer for an accident?  That was not at the end, after paying $70.00, I came home and found out the exact porcelain cat is only $30.00 and you could buy at any store in the U.S. It's obviously you are trying to trick your customer and take their money.   Today, you not only lost a loyal customer, but also fail as a business. I am doing my first review here, just to make sure everyone is aware of the way they are doing business. If this incident would happen to any Moms & kids at T4 , please be aware that you are getting ready to be insulted as a terrible parent. read more

Drinks are always good but the customer service is not. The teens definitely have an attitude when ordering as if you being there is an inconvenience to their conversation. I've been there 4 times and it's been this way every time. Last time I was in one of the girls was telling the others how her and her boyfriend were on a break but he had sex with another girl. I went in for a rose milk tea and the cashier was patient in explaining the sugar level. They had small pearls ready (a rare occurrence for T4s in California bay area). AMAZING Calamari!! The Boba was cooked perfect and had the best consistency I've had in a tapioca drink EVER, the shake part however had rubbery chunks of milk powder all throughout the drink making it a bit hard to drink (milk powder gets weird in frozen drinks) but everything about the service, the shop, the amazing snacks, this is still a place to visit forsure !!!!! 4 stars! read more

The service here is definitely lacking compared to the beaverton location. Drinks and food seems to be about the same at both locations. I mainly want to write about my experience tonight. I was here at 9:40 and was told that the kitchen was closed. I'm not exactly sure why you would be an establishment that serves food but would close the kitchen 20 minutes early. The tanned asian girl on register (with long highlighted blonde hair) needs to be trained on how to provide professional customer service and hygiene. She twirled her hair and touched her face every few seconds and proceeded to walk off register to go make people's drinks. This is absolutely against health code. When she handed my stamp card back, she did not place it back in my hand (which I reached my palm out), instead it dropped right on the counter and she didn't say anything or pick it back up. The music here is also very loud especially in such a small space. People can barely hear their number being called. read more

I drove to the location and when I got there they told me that they canceled the order with no explanation. They did not even try to remedy the situation and help the next person in line. It sucks that I have to leave them a one star because I had waited months for this place to open. I'm not complaining on quality, but then again all I've tried is the Thai milk tea and strawberry milk shake. My complain is about how one father and his son were treated and singled out because of their race. To the lady behind the counter, yeah I saw you. You had to ask him for proof of purchase (the ticket) while every other person who was of Asian decent or Caucasian had to show absolutely nothing, you took their word. When they first open it was average at best. It got better a few months later and the fact they served food was nice. However as of now, I would never recommend someone to come here if they want boba. The milk teas are flavorless, but the boba was so sweet that my mouth and teeth hurt. At first, I thought it was a one time thing, but a few weeks later it was still nasty. So I avoided T4 for another month until my family bought some boba out of convenience. And let me tell you, it was still nasty. The only difference this time was that the milk tea was way too sweet and the boba was hard. This place is great. It's clean, spacious, and easy to order. They have menus at the side where the line queues and at the counter. They have a ton of different types of tea; I opted for Earl Grey with sea salt cream. They let you customize sweetness and ice level. I went for the boba and coffee jelly as toppings. The coffee jelly was standard out of a jar, but the boba was well cooked and the correct consistency. They were really busy, but managed to get our drinks out very quickly. They seem to have their process streamlined. We will definitely be back! read more

I get tea here regularly and I accidentally did a Door Dash to the wrong location. The employee went out of his way to call the other store and cancel and get me my tea from their location.
