I have to say that now everything is complete with the process - Kym and Patty were great. There were some adjustments needed for my cabinets due to the assembly and they quickly took care of everything. I also had a door damaged and they brought another one right out. I have received tons of compliments as the quality really is nice and they make a huge difference in terms of adding warmth and sophistication. I also decided to buy cabinets for my laundry room to remove the white, wire racks above my washer/dryer. Complete junk cabinets. Been about 4 years now and having all these cabinets replaced. Buyer beware. Dont buy from this junk cabinet maker. Theyre below contractor grade. Complete garbage. Cheap wood. The hardware is junk. Half of the drawers dont even shut properly anymore. Unless you are trying to stick a buyer with cheap cabinets, dont buy from this place. If you are a buyer of new construction or a home with new cabinets, ask who did the cabinets. Make sure it wasnt T2 or Amber leaf. read more

since my initial visit(s), i actually bought my kitchen cabinets here - and could not be happier with them, 6 months after they were installed. my contractors couldn't believe how inexpensive they were - and they look great. They only have 2 styles - but if you like one of them - or come to realize that you like one of them enough to justify saving about $10,000 on kitchen cabinets - you could not do better! Service was also great - we had to make a few returns, last minute purchases - and they were very accomodating. These cabinets are ikea-priced (or lower) - and WAY nicer than ikea cabinets in that they're all wood - and - they arrive actually put together. also, the showroom is in a really cool art deco building that i just loved visiting. can't recommend this place enough! read more

My aunt wanted to update her kitchen and bathroom, and has been searching around for a reasonable and decent cabinetry for 3 months. After the bad experience from using particle board cabinets that they brought from home depot, they decided to use solid wood cabinet this time. However, they price of solid wood cabinet in the Chicago cabinetry market are too expensive to cover their budget. Last month, I went to my friend's home. I was pretty impressed by her new updated cabinets in her kitchen and surprised by the price she paid for the entire selection. So, last Saturday, I decide to take a look their showroom with my aunt and find out if she lied about the price. Oh my god, my aunt took me to my favorite restaurant for dinner that night as a reward because I found the LOWEST price solid wood and plywood made cabinet in the town when she almost gave up her original budget!!!!!!!!!!! Their products made of solid wood for the door and plywood for the box, but their price is almost as low as home depot? Can you find a better deal?? NO WAY!!!!!!!!!! And they said they would deliver the product in A WEEK from the day we put order!! Incredible!!!! Anyway, I feel lucky that I found them! and 100% satisfy with their service! read more

Talk about patience and customer service! Over and beyond. After months of looking for kitchen cabinetry that would not bust the purse; a friend suggested to take a look here - a stock cabinet company. I will say we were both hesitant. But after comparing again and again and designing this kitchen 42 different ways from Sunday we plunged in. We picked there new line of bamboo at the very last minute (it had just arrived in their showroom/warehouse) - we initially had settled on Espresso but everyone was doing Espresso! Being a Realtor I know what is in peoples home. Delivery on time to the minute; adjustments done immediately, repairs (all minor), replacements delivered within in a hour, take backs; they did it all with a smile. Any questions; if Karen was not there to answer; the owner got on the phone. The look is great; the pricing was terrific. Sure some design hiccups - it happens - no fault - what looks good on paper sometimes does not transfer a 100% to the space. Overall we could not be happier. Overall recommend! REdid my kitchen cabinets with T2. Price is very competitive, and they are able to install for you as well. CAbinets were of good quality. A couple small issues during the installation did occur. Ended up realizing that during the measurement phase, some errors did happen, and we were short a couple of cabinets, but because I ordered the stock cabinets, they were able to send over the extras needed the next day. T2 was very responsive to the issues and everything was fixed quickly, did NOT cause delay to the project time. The installation guys were expeditious but like all construction/remodeling work, little nicks will happen here or there, nothing that bothered me, but if you are very meticulous, then I recommend you stay around and supervise the installation closely. If you are not too OCD, then just know that the installation goes smoothly, the installers are experienced and will be honest about any issues that come up and offer options to bypass or fix it. They were also very good in that I later noticed some cosmetic flaws that I did want fixed, they did send out someone to fix up. I would recommend this company for people looking for a competitive pricing on quality cabinets, they are a good company who are willing to respond to feedback and in my experience, they were accommodating and good to work with. read more

I've ordered several kitchens and bath vanities from T2 Cabinets over the years. They offer 6 or 7 styles of cabinets that they manufacture on site and a few others that they can order from other factories. Prices are very competitive and quality is very good. I've found that typically they take 2-3 weeks to manufacture and deliver. Any issues I've had with the cabinets once delivered have been taken care of right away. Their new showroom is impressive and a good place to get ideas. They always have a few designers on site to draw your kitchen. Highly recommended. read more

They just don't look good now that I've painted and furnished most of my house. I polish them and keep them clean but meh... Still underwhelmed. These by far are the worst horrible cabinets ever. I brought new build home that came with these cabinets. They get off tracks quite frequently. I thought you had to undo the tracks and etc. nope you have to open the drawer, using your palm, slam on side of the drawer until it gets back on track. What kinda quality product are you selling that i have to beat up daily? The cabinet colors are 2 different shades of white. Just horrible quality. read more

T2 Cabinets is the real deal. After staring at those old and ugly kitchen cabinets for more than 4 years, I finally decided to get new ones. I would have really liked to get a new home instead, but with the economy and all that just wasn't an option. I have shopped high and low all over the city. Li at T2 was super helpful. He worked with my budget, and the most important of all he made me feel comfortable. I'm always afraid of being taken for a ride when it comes to home improvement stuff. Li went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my selection and I was only getting what I needed and nothing unnecessary. I have recommended them to all friends and family. Prices are descent but quality is bad. I ordered cabinets for my kitchen and the stain didn't match on all cabinets, they seem to have a different shade depending on what batch they came from. Now, 2 years later the front of 3 cabinets have started to split and crack. The cabinets I replaced were like 20 years old and they were still solid. read more

All in all working with T2 was great. The cabinets are really good quality, much nicer than other cabinets at the same price point. The process was very easy, you setup a time for T2 to come in and measure your room. Then you come in and work with a designer. Once the plan is agreed upon it takes about a week to have the cabinets delivered. We ran into a few quality control issues with the cabinets, one cabinet only had one screw per hinge instead of two and another cabinets screw hole was stripped. In addition, the side panels were the exact size of the cabinet, you want them to be slightly larger so they can be scribed to the wall for a really tight professional look. None of these issues were huge and with the exception of the side panels easily fixed. Finally I have to say that the cabinet quality is excellent, even my carpenter was impressed. I looked every everywhere and for the price you can't beat these cabinets. read more

Purchased a kitchen full of cabinets from this company after thorough research of Chicago-area cabinet/kitchen remodeling companies. T2 came in at about 1/3 of the next-lowest quote, and T2's cabinets were better quality. Their prices are so low because they get the cabinets direct from China. When we purchased the cabinets (August 2010), they only had two style choices. Fortunately one style worked well for us. We had them install the cabinets as well, and they also put in our new sink and faucet and mounted an over-the-stove microwave for us. All of the work was excellent. First of all the whole staff of T2 Cabinets are the best. Last year someone recommended this company to me when my father-in-law's kitchen was being remodeled. Let just say they are more then patient and helpful. I live in Northwest Indiana, Joey came to my house to take all the measurement and gave me a friendly advise, which we followed. The cabinets are so beautiful, we picked the bamboo and we love it. Helen and the rest of the design staff is so patient. I have changed few things and she always was more then polite and helpful. Her expert advise eased my worries, since this is the very first time we have done a project this big. They have also delivered the cabinets for a small extra fee to my house which not only saved me the hassle of doing it myself but alsoseved me a lot of my time. I will always recommend them to anyone I know that is remodeling their kitchen. The price was unbeliveble. The cabinets are just simply georgeous.
