writing this review to say how much respect have for the staff, and the ethics and great customer…read moreservice they treated me and my dad with. quick back story, several years ago my dad was diagnosed with alzheimer's disease, he was doing fine for several years then suddenly his health got worse very quickly. since his current vehicle was no longer sufficient to be able to handle a wheel chair, had to obtain suitable "wheel chair" friendly/accomodating tramsportation. thank God was able to find a great 2000 chevrolet full size express conversion van at classic chevrolet in claremore. however, the van did not have a wheel chair lift/ramp, but the gentleman at classic chevrolet suggested using "handicap vehicle services unlimited" (hvsu.com) and said they had referred several customers there and always heard back that they did great work. the gentleman from classic chevrolet was sooo right. upon arriving to "hvsu" we were greeted warmly and then upon telling them our problem they showed us the various options and wheel chair lifts they suggested. all the various wheel chair lift options were great but we had extremely limited financial resources, especially with the unexpected expense of the 2000 chevrolet full size express conversion van. thanked then for their time and was about to leave when one of their staff suggested consider a "floor model" demo wheel chair lift they had just brought back from using at several floor demo shows. they said it was brand new and only been used a few times as a demo at a some floor demo shows. they said it just had few scratches but came with same manufacturers warranty as new one, and they said they would discount the price since it was a floor demo show wheel chair lift model. I said a few scratches wouldn't bother us, cause we were going to put some scratches on it when using it anyway, and the discounted price was incredible, and allowed us to be able to afford it. sadly, my dad is no longer with us, but "hvsu" and the wheel chair lift they installed allowed my dad and I to spend and enjoy several more years together that we may not have on trips, outings, etc., if it were not for the great staff at "hvsu", and the wonderful wheel chair lift they installed on the 2000 chevrolet full size conversion van. did I fail to mention they threw in "free" handicap stickers for the rear bumper and wheel chair lift side doors. realize this review is a bit long and wordy but wanted to give full credit and description of the great staff and customer service received from "hvsu". may God bless and keep the great staff at "hvsu" for their kindness, ethics, and great customer service. thank you God for leading us to "hvsu".

I parked here because it was away from others and in the shade. He immediately came out angry that a young man parked in front of his store and claimed all of the parking was for his disabled customers. I proceeded to ask him if I was parked in a handicap or bothering anyone. He was very belligerent, I'm very un-confrontational so much obliged to have you stop yelling and nagging at me. I politely said I would move, not here to cause drama or issues. We initially tried to have a local shop look into the Speedy Lift (which we saw online), but they didn't think it work based on their past experience with installs of this product on Tesla Model X. My husband found YouTube videos by Mobility One showing the exact solution that we needed (Speedy Lift by Adapt Solutions & the Asento seat lift). He reached out to William to get more information, and I must say that this process went very smoothly. We are in CA, William is in Oklahoma. We shipped the car to him, and he was able to complete the install in less than a week. It took longer to ship the car than to get William's part done! We loved the product, and William and his team are professional, skilled, and easy to communicate with. Also, my mom also is super impressed with how easy the lift is to use, and she is thankful that she can now have more autonomy when going out and doing her errands. I visited Barnes Tag Agency to handle an out of state title and registration transfer along with…read moregetting a Real ID. I had checked online beforehand to make sure I had all the paperwork, which made the process smooth once I reached the window. They don't use a ticket system, so you simply get in line and wait for an open window. There were three people ahead of me and all three windows were already helping customers, so my wait was about thirty minutes. While the line moved steadily, I couldn't help noticing an elderly man and another customer who seemed to have back issues. A number system or electronic sign in would make the experience more comfortable for customers who have difficulty standing as they could grab a number and have a seat to wait to be called. Once I reached the counter, the vehicle registration and title transfer were quick and easy thanks to having everything prepared. I got the plate same day which was nice. The title will arrive in mail, or I could have chosen the electronic version. After that, I went to the next room over for the Real ID. There was a sign in tablet, but no one else waiting, so I was seen immediately. Even so, it would be much more convenient if both services could be handled at the same window instead of having to start a second process. Unfortunately, I learned that my birth certificate still has my maiden name, and because I never changed my name back after my divorce in 2004, my current last name didn't match. They required a marriage certificate, and I was surprised they wouldn't accept my Social Security card since it shows my current name. I asked about using mail or other documents, but those weren't accepted and was advised they need a marriage certificate. I left without a Real ID and will need to return once I get either a copy of the marriage certificate or my divorce decree, which the website says is acceptable but wasn't mentioned during my visit. It's frustrating, but ultimately not their fault that I missed that requirement. Despite the hiccup, the staff were friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. I watched one employee wait while a customer ran out to his vehicle for paperwork, and she even waited while he called his insurance company to have an authorization letter faxed over. Many places would have asked him to step aside, but she made sure he was taken care of. Overall, Barnes Tag Agency offers kind service, efficient processing when you have your documents ready, and staff who go out of their way to help customers. With a few updates to the waiting system, it would be an even better experience.
