This is my local tag agency. I've been coming here probably for nine years. Back in 2020 I tried to get my real ID. I had to wait over four hours. The person working the counter gave me the hardest time. And then she didn't give me the real ID. Recently, my husband went to get his and he said it was an easy experience. He said there's no wait now because you check in and you leave your phone number and I'll text you when you can come back. So I decided to try again. I walked in there was no wait. Best of all I was in and out and under 20 minutes and they gave me my real ID this time. read more

Extremely unhelpful. Told me there was no such thing as getting a temporary ID, and that I had no option but to wait 60 days for my renewal to get mailed to my house. I called the Jenks Tag Agency and they said no problem, we can print you a temporary ID right away. read more

This is the slowest and most rude tag agency I have ever been to. I have been going there for years, because it is the closest to my house. EVERY TIME they are rude. They spend more time putting silly model car and statues all over the place. How about work on your customer service? Finding a new place next time. read more

I just stopped in to renew my auto tag and was greeted nicely. The two ladies that waited on me were both very nice. One of the ladies was in training and it probably took a little longer than normal but that is perfectly fine. We all have to learn and patience is a virtue. Went to get Real ID and Driver License renewal. Gave the female agent all the valid documents Oklahoma requires for getting a Real ID. Documents I gave were my Drivers License that shows my full legal name and a certified copy of my birth certificate that shows my full legal name which matches the name on my Drivers License and every legal document during my 65+ years of life. The agent made up her own requirements stating I needed to submit change of name documents that the STATE OF OKLAHOMA does not require when the name on your birth certificate matches your true legal name. I will never go to this place again despite it being the closest agency to my home. DO NOT GO HERE - THEY ARE LAZY & VIOLATE THE LAW BY MAKING UP THEIR OWN RULES FOR PROCESSING A REAL ID REQUEST. read more

If I could give this tag agency zero stars I would. I understand tag agencies are very busy with real ID's and the line was to the door last week when I went. One of the employees there suggested I come early Tuesday morning instead as the line is shorter. I went there on Tuesday and nope not shorter at all! Also there is only one person working on real ID's and she apparently didn't know what she was doing because each person took over thirty minutes to process their paperwork. Finally I just called another tag agency, drove there and got right in and was out in five minutes. The other tag agency also had an appointment sign in sheet so you never had to wait. Seriously Barnes get it together, train your employees, and put another person processing real ID's. Even the cute cars and memorabilia they have there can't make up for their lack of training and efficiency! read more

Appointment was at 1040 didn't get in until after 11. Lady going fingerprints was rough and not very polite. I can't relax my ring finger on its own, and she was visibly getting frustrated. read more

I went around 4:00 to renew my tag thinking it would be crazy busy and was immediately helped. The lady who helped me was kind and made the whole process easy and way less stressful than I had anticipated. I normally use Central Tag Agency on Harvard but this one is way closer to my new home. This is the worst experience I ever came across! I was told that the reason title paperwork was late was because of a mistake by the tag agency on the vin number. How does a truck I bought for 9,775 title cost over 900$? He told me late fees. Wait, Late fees because of your mistake? The employee refused to hear anything I had to say. On top of all that, 22.30 charge to pay with my ATM card. This place is wrong and a rip off. read more

I keep forgiving bad service... but I will never go back to this place. Anything routine is fine with generally non-courteous service...but anything beyond the routine (e.g., getting a Real ID), and these folks have no idea what they are doing but they do it rudely. They tell you one thing one week then something different the next. I could go on for several paragraphs but they just aren't worth my further thought. Their system goes down a lot, your time and inconvenience are of no concern to them, they have unbelievably rude employees who lack empathy or common courtesy. Usually this type of customer service comes from the top. Obviously, the management at this tag agency is unconcerned about the behavior displayed by the employees so it's not going to change based on a few bad reviews or unhappy customers. In fact, I'm only leaving this bad review because nothing else can be done. Today, I had a very challenging situation re-titling a car for my grandson. I came into the agency a few weeks ago and met Etta. She was very creative in how to properly retitle the car at the least possible expense to me. Once I was able to secure all the necessary paperwork, I came into the agency and met with Etta again. She took the time to do the work properly (the first time) and did it with ease and perfection (all the while visiting with me). I have been dealing with tag agents for over 50 years. Etta is absolutely the best agent I have ever dealt with. When I go back to Barnes Tag Agency, I will be sure to ask for Etta. She's now my newest best friend! read more

FYI , at the end of August 2020 I learned that they are doing OK drivers license renewals on a reservation basis and are booked into October. The man at the door told us that the tag agency at 41st and Sheridan was doing walk ins. He added that there was a two hour wait time when they last checked. I appreciated the alternate suggestion. read more

After a few hiccups on my part as far as gathering information and proper paper work for out of state tags transfer from KS TO OK, I went in and worked with Etta, she was AMAZING, very straightforward, quick & efficient, and helped me get it all secure in less than an hour, I usually hate DMV's (don't we all) but I know I won't be stepping foot into another location other than the Barnes location! Showed up at 3:50 today to renew my drivers license. Tag Agency closes at 5:00. I was told that the stop renewing license at 4:00, yet time was 3:50. I was refused service. Only one other customer already in line. Owner was rude and refused service. I will not return and I would recommend the tag agency at 58th and Garnet. I don't understand the 2.5 rating this agency has. I have been to this location several times and have always received exceptional service. I can't say the same for the other agencies in the area.
