I moved recently to the area and went to get my nails done because of the reviews here. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. I got a dip powder manicure and a regular pedicure and my nails chipped and broke 2 days later, then i went back and they re did them and they broke again, chipped and now the top layer is peeling off. I've never had this happen in the 5 years I've been getting dip powder. I will not be going back. read more

Under new management?!? This place has one woman, Tina. She's rude. I watched her yell at a customer. This was my first time there. I was in a rush that day and couldn't go somewhere else. My nails turned out OK. They aren't very familiar with gel powder. Seemed odd since they're a nail salon. Second experience with this place. I made an appointment with Tina. Too bad she didn't bother to write it down on the calendar because when I got there for my appointment, she had someone else she had just started to help. Then acted like she didn't know I contacted HER directly for my appointment! Who else was going to know?!?! I asked if there was someone else who could do my nails. They have a guy who is very nice but isn't up to par! He sanded my nails to get the polish off for what seemed like forever. Now my nails are BREAKING!!! I'm do pissed off. Vibe, that's laughable. I have been coming to T-Nails for years and it's obvious it's under new management. Actually the last two times I have been there , there has been a lot of new faces. I went in today to simply get my eyebrows cleaned up and the girl that did them jacked them up. She needs more training. She was sweet as pie, but I was not satisfied with the service. I normally do not write reviews EVER. But I was very upset with my last visit. Firstly everyone was nice and respectful. The vibe was good and they offered me snacks and beverages. I can't remember the young women's name who was doing my nails but I originally came in for gel manicure and pedicure and came out of there with both classic mani/pedi. I was trying to cut my service short but she was very persistent on me staying so I gave her multiple chances to fix my nails(3 times ). At the end I was tired of it due to her cutting my cuticles until the point I was bleeding and also nail my nail burning due to her shaving down the nail she was trying to fix with gel. I,m not sure if I would have had a different experience with someone else, but I personally was not happy with my visit. read more

Horrible! Waited 15 mins for him not start the soap pedicure correctly and then continously tried to uocharge me on included services. Nor only had to remind him of what's included. Asked for 6 various colors which he said they didn't have. Settled on black only to see 3 of colors. Then rushed out with feet not completely dry. Waited nearly 25mins in the chair for a pedicure, at least let me know that it'll be wait instead of having me sit for a while and then have to ask. Next, the amount of time she rudely tapped my foot to let me know to move my feet in and out of the water was beyond ridiculous, other places guide your feet not make you do it. Either have a foot rest or hold my feet while scrubbing, don't expect me to lift my own foot and keep it in the air. Either way the tip was reflected in the service which is none. I was a walk in at about 6:30 in the evening. Tina took great care of me she did a really really good job everyone at work has been asking me fore her contact info. My nails look natural and clean!! I'm really picky about my coffin shape nails so i made it clear when i arrived. So it pains me to write this review because this is the only place I go to for my nails. TOMMY is THEE best so I always tip him really well. He's the only one I go to for nails but for pedis I'm pretty lenient. Saturday I went & asked for a pedi. There was a girl I hadn't seen before but I didn't think too much about it. Now when I tell you I received the WORST pedicure I've ever gotten, I mean it. I don't know her name but she looked young, seemed very nice. However she was SO rough on my feet. First, she was rough cutting my toenails down, almost cut my skin & she knew it hurt because I jerked my foot back. She doesn't say anything. Then she's pushing my cuticles back, which I can't speak for everyone but I barely have any cuticles on my toes, so she's pushing back actual skin at this point. Again, I flinch. And again, she offers no apology. Then she starts brushing the top of my foot, with a hard brush. WHY WOULD YOU BRUSH SOFT SKIN WITH A HARD BRISTLE BRUSH. AGAIN, I flinch. Again, she offers no apology. At this point I'm ready to leave mid-pedi. On my right foot she is scrubbing SO hard, I immediately jerk my foot back & tell her to stop. I say "I'm sorry I have to go" she asks what's wrong & I reply "it's just too rough, I'll pay for the work you did but I don't want to continue". She had only filed my toes, pushed my cuticles back & brushed the top of my foot. I walk to the front to pay for what she did, thinking it would be at the most $10. They charge me $20!!! I paid because I'm a person of my word but I was LIVID. I'm just now posting this review because my toe has scabbed over & looks gross! I honestly want to sue because this is unacceptable! I've been going to T Nails for AT LEAST 2 years & this visit disgusted me so much I don't know if I'll ever go back. To explain my pics, the picture without white polish is right after I walked out. It looks pink. The picture with the white polish without it being a scab was later that Saturday. The picture of the dark scab is today! Awful! read more

Needed a brow wax and was already in the plaza area so gave them a shot. While the male tech did a decent job of shaping he made my brows quite uneven and didn't clean them up great. His station was in the unit hallway in the back and my view was a very water damaged ceiling next to their shipment boxes. He was polite, the mirror wasn't super clean which is why I missed noticing the stray hairs, but was not confident in having him try to fix what he did either. I asked when I entered if Card was OK and he said yes, went to pay and was up charged because they had a minimum. Lesson learned, won't be back. read more

I went here once before (last yr) for a pedicure after getting a gift cert. from hubby. The pedicure was mediocre at best. I normally go to a different salon but my hubby again gave me a GC to this place. (must be the convenient location-wish I had told him about my normal place) So I had to use the GC & figured maybe it was just an off day for the tech I had. This time I got a mani/pedi. Not acrylic nails, just regular pedicure. I chose a bright red color as we're going to the Nationals game tomorrow & I wanted to be festive. The pedicure was average, polish was pretty good, a couple red spots on toes still, but not bad. However, after getting home I noticed my heels are rough, sandpaper-like. They weren't done enough or not good lotion or something. Not sure, but my reg. salon, my feet always feel smooth & wonderful when I leave. I had to come home & lotion up. The manicure was not impressive at all. He left polish around my nails on skin on half my fingers. Also there were at least 3 spots on the corners of nails with no polish. With such a dark color it's pretty noticable so I had to get out my polish remover & Q-tips & clean up the mess he left. Also, he didn't push back the cuticles & the skin on the sides of my fingers is pretty rough, no lotion applied. Again, my regular salon- this never happens. I leave with very soft skin, no spots on skin & I certainly don't have to do any touch ups. I was hoping this time would be better. The lady sitting beside me got a fantastic nail job though. Her nails were beautiful. Her tech was named Leo. She said she's been going to him for yrs. & he's the only one who does her nails. They were french tips w/air brush. Gorgeous. So he apparently does great work. So.... I may think about going back one more time & ask for Leo. I won't let anyone else there do my nails as I haven't had good experiences. Also, the water during my pedicure was so hot it turned my feet & legs red! I asked the guy to please make the water cooler but I don't think he could understand english. I asked him like 3 times. He said "you want hot water?" I said "warm water, but this is too hot." Still, he didn't cool it down. It was so hot I had to keep lifting my feet out & ease them into the scalding water. I really should have just left at that point, before he started but I have a hard time being upfront with people. It's especially hard when they can't understand your language so you don't know how to communicate your wishes. Leo, on the other hand, was quite friendly & chatty & seemed to really want to please his customer. I only wish I had been his customer. I just wanted to write this so others would know what to expect. If you have never been to T Nails you might want to ask for Leo. Or you can take your chances. I will say both times I went I had male techs. I noticed the women seemed to speak english pretty well, & Leo did too, of course. That's kind of important to me, as I said, it's hard to express your desires if they don't understand you. And you then end up looking like a lobster from the shins down & leave unsatisfied. ): UPDATE: 5 days after mani/pedi the polish is all coming off my fingernails. Corners are all worn off & it looks terrible. I decided to come back & change to one star. Staying power is important & I've never had polish wear off this quick. This is probably the worst one I've ever had. Total waste of money!! Less than a wk. later I have to go get another one. I wouldn't go here, unless you enjoy wasting your money! read more

I would like to save some money for anyone whos planning on visiting this nail salon. Being new to Woodbridge area, I did not know which place to go so I googled this one, and went there yesterday. First when I called the lady told me the price was $23.00; however, when I got there she said it was $28, and asked to pay in the middle of the work being done. She did not do a geat job at all. She was working on ma nails way too fast, and there are bubbles in almost every nail and the outline is not fully filled. I am afraid that they will start falling off anytime soon and not even one day has passed yet. If you are reading this do not waste your time nor money. read more

He never apologized either. He did not do a very good paint job either. Once I paid (before getting the polish) he was doing an even more lazy job than he already was. Went in for a pedicure and walked out with 1/4 in chunk of flesh missing from the side of my foot! NO kidding. The nail technician kept scraping with the scraper and then had the nerve to ask ME what happened. I told her to stop right then that I wanted to leave. She kept saying- "it OK, it OK, no big deal" Then charged me $50! I just wanted to run out and grab antibiotic cream so I paid and left. This place has untrained workers. If you value your health stay away. I now can not wear my boots or Christmas party shoes because I have a hole in the side of my foot. Praying that it doesn't get infected. If it doesn't heal in a few days I'm heading to the doctor and perhaps pursuing legal action. read more

I wasn't going leave a review but I'm not ok with being extorted. So here goes. I went to day to get three pedicures for me and my daughters. I was charged $60 per girl. 40 for the mani pedi and then they asked if I wanted to get gel polish for them. I said sure. It was their birthday week. Why not. They added $20 per girl for gel polish!!! That's insane. I looked at their price chart and a manicure only is $18. So you mean to tell me its more to add gel polish than to get a manicure itself. 120 dollars for two girls to get a mani pedi with gel polish on the nails ONLY. That's robbery. Now on to me. I got a regular pedi with cut down on my toes and a full set of acrylic tips. Coffin shaped and gel polish I brought in with me on my nails only and was charged $70. I don't even mind spending that money if I getting some good stuff. Their pedicure was BASIC AF. I didn't want much for the twins but their pedicure for me had nothing. So scrubs, no scents, no wax. No stones. Nothing. I've paid less for more. They do not look at their displayed pricing. They throw out a number at you and thats it. I would not recommend going there if you work hard for your money. They were very disappointing. read more
