I was driving 2 hrs from the other side of the state to take her since she doesn't have a car on campus and could accommodate that request. Then the day of, I'm about an hour out of Muncie and the stylist texts asking to change the appointment to a different day because her other job needed her to come in early. When my daughter tells her that this the only day she has available because she doesn't have a ride other than me and I was driving 2 hrs to get there, she said she can't do it and no other stylist was available. So disappointing and not a good look for this business. We scheduled a week in advance and were willing to accommodate the request to move the time up. This appointment that was set should have been honored before a second job.

This was my 4th visit. The first time, I got regular polish which chipped within 24 hrs. The…read moresecond appt, I was charged for a pedicure that I didn't get (just got my toes polished) and a gel manicure that didn't cure properly. When I returned a 3rd time (only because my mom has her nails done here) it was a bit of an issue that I wanted the gel polish soaked off so my nails wouldn't get damaged by the grinder. But a young woman did them without issue and I left pleased. I went today, my mom had made an appt with the owner for me. I just wanted my gel polish soaked off and a manicure with new gel polish. I was told that it was a problem for them, that they had to use a grinder, that maybe I should find a new place to do it and on and on it went. So much so that I told the man (the owner Lily had delegated the task to him even though my appt was with her) that I didn't have any complaints and just wanted a new color yet he FOLLOWED ME to continue to tell me why it was a problem that I sit in a chair to let the polish soak off. I finally told him I wasn't stupid, that I understand the gel process, and that I had issues when I walked in but that he had now created issues. He said maybe I should find "an American salon" who didn't mind taking their time. I asked again that they just get the color off so I could leave. They left me with acetone wrapped fingernails for AN HOUR. You know what burns after being on your skin that long? Yep, acetone. The owner finally called me over to get the polish off and I think she realized how terrible the entire experience was because she said nothing and didn't charge me. Even my mom, who's gone there for years, said she will never go back after I told her what happened. No one should be treated like I was. Another patron even said as much after witnessing the ordeal.

Hubby and I got a couples massage from Jonell and Ashley. This time I got Ashley, and she is just as fabulous as Jonell! They have a similar style and I really enjoyed my massage. Hubby did too. We got placed in the same room for the couple's massage. We don't talk to each other while we get massages, but if you take a friend with you, you could definitely chat, if that's your thing. As I said in my previous review, the ambiance is simple and pretty. Just relaxing enough with twinkle lights and several candles. I really wanted to have a hair cut, but I had to meet someone right after my appointment so I'll be sure to try that next time. Everyone that works there has fabulous hair, so that might be a good indicator that their salon services are great!

The got dip nails…read moredone which I have been doing for over a year and had to go to a different salon than my normal one. My nails crumbled and the polish peeled and it was just awful. Not worth the money and the location was honestly not the cleanest and was really cluttered.
