I had already had gel on my fingers and toes from the last time they did them. When I told them i only wanted a regular polish service without the gel, (after them asking me 5 times if I wanted gel) they filed my nails all the way down very thinly with the drill to take the gel off. My toes were very lumpy and finger nails and cuticles were damaged (cracked)by the drill. Now my nails are very sore and tender. When they do grow out a little, they are cracked and split. It will probably take a whole year for them to get back healthy and strong. I will never go back to the here again! read more

I would really love to give this nail salon a better rating, because it was recommended to me. I was looking for a place to take my daughter to get a gel manicure for her birthday, after asking around this place was suggested. Just want to start by saying there is absolutely no prices posted anywhere for their services. Not online, not on social media, and not even in their store. It was a typical greeting, we were asked what we wanted but there was no other directions. I couldn't find a price menu and I had to ask how much they're gel manicures were. We started looking for colors even though nobody instructed us to, then we're advised to look at colors from the manicure table. It is $25 for gel manicure, by the way. Which is priceier than all of the other comparable, walk-in salons in the area, most of which charge $20 for a gel manicure. I realize that sometimes when working with cuticles, bleeding does happen. But I've never personally experienced this, and my daughter's were bleeding & were sure for a few days. Service was fast, they had her in and out in no time. So the 2 stars are for fast service and because it's been almost a week and she's had no chipping. If you don't mind paying a few extra for services, or blindly going in from a financial aspect, or unfriendly service, then you can get a decent gel done here. read more

I don't mind waiting (I normally make an appointment with Jenny or Andrew) but either could get me in so I decided to go ahead with someone else so waiting was to be expected. The problem was when guy finally got to me he was talking and making calls. His directions of what he wanted me to do (in and out of bowl, trying to tell him water to hot etc) and me explaining what I wanted was difficult and not relaxing while he was talking the entire time or stopping to make calls. (Made 3 in total and excepted 1 call.) Next time I'll wait for Jenny or Andrew so I know what high level and professional service I get with them. I LOVED this place. This is only the second time I've gotten my nails done. My very first time I went to V.I.P Nails by Texas Roadhouse and it wasn't very good compared to this place. The guy who did my nails was Nhan; he was very kind, had a conversation with you while doing your nails so it isn't awkward silence, and he always checked to see if my nails looked the way I wanted them to. If I could give this zero stars I would. I went in and asked for a FILL. This is what I received. Did not take my old polish off. First cut my nails with the little spinning tool. Barely cut any tip off so I asked if he could cut more and he cut WAY more off. Some of my nails have tips and some do not. AND, I asked for dip and he said he "can't do that on Acrylic nails so I HAVE to get gel." (???) THEN he painted the gel over top my old polish. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else. read more

I have never had such awful nails. Unfortunately I do not know his name, but it was the guy who usually sits in the chair right when you walk in was the one who did my nails. At first, he seemed like he was in a rush and I wanted to give him a chance and trust his process. But then he started putting on the clear coat to seal the look for my dip nails, and they looked awful. They were so sloppy, I had a small air bubble on my left ring finger, the dip powder was stuck on my finger tips. Left over residue was left on my thumb. The clear coat and some of the dip powder was covering my cuticles, which made everything look so much worse. They tried fixing the edges with a nail filer but they only did more damage and ended up taking off the edges of the clear coat. When I told him they were sloppy, he scurried off and had a nice lady try and fix his terrible job. I knew he was in a rush because he jumped into a convertible before I could even pay him personally and drove off. The nice lady offered $10 off, or a complete redo, but this whole process took 1.5 hours for a simple dip nail. Overall, awful awful awful experience. Do not recommend this guy here. read more

I normally never leave reviews good or bad. But, this had to be said. I got my eyebrows done here a few days ago for my best friends upcoming wedding. They tore my skin off...literally. I have scabs under my eyebrows and they even got my eyelid. It's very painful. I will not be going back. They should not be allowed to wax eyebrows. read more

Whenever I am in Muncie and decide to get my nails done, Super Nail has always been the place! They always do a great job on my toes and the polish tends to last forever! I was here a couple days ago for the first time in years and did notice, though, that all of their pedicure chairs are looking super rough. I took my daughters to get our nails done. All 3 of us had a great experience. They were professional and did an awesome job on our nails!

If I could leave 0 stars I would! My mother & I came in for a fill in and they were so rude and in such a hurry that our nails were not dry!! As soon as we left our polish was just peeling off and 1 of my nails broke!!! I called back in there and spoke to Harry the owner he told us to come back in and he would correct the problem himself... as soon as we go in he sends us to other people he didnt even fix them as he promised! A week and a half ago a manicurist accidentally punctured my pinky with a drill causing my finger to bleed on the table. He apologized and put a bandaid on it. I went to urgent care where I was given a tetanus shot and a 10 day course of antibiotics. The visit cost me $147. I know accidents can happen but I don't think there was any care or concern as to how I was to take care of the injury. I do not recommend this salon. read more

BY FAR THE WORST experience at a nail salon I've ever had. Decided to stop in with my sister today and I asked for a new set and a gel pedicure upon arriving. I was then disregarded and waiting while multiple people were helped before me with pedicures. I eventually got my set which was nothing like what I asked for (shape was supposed to be square, the guy made them coffin). But he couldn't do the design I asked for so I had to then wait for another tech to finish my set although I mentioned I could change my mind about the design to make it easier he said nothing and did it anyways. I asked for a gel pedicure and I wanted acrylic placed on a toenail that had broken. The man proceeds to rip my cuticle out of the broken toenail making me bleed and then put acetone on it. I told him it hurt and he continued doing it until I pulled my foot away. Also did not give me gel but instead used regular polish although the color I chose was a gel color???? Ridiculous customer service this place has. When I went to pay the man threw my card down on the counter along with my receipt and walked away without saying a word. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. YOU WILL LEAVE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I have had acrylic nails for over 7 years & I have never had an infection... until this place!!! I went elsewhere for a fill today & they found fungus under FIVE (5!!!!) of my nails! They are sloppy & don't take the time to do nails correctly at all. I used to go here because they are quick, but dealing with fungus is a bigger waste of my time. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! read more

Horrible experience from a previously top rated salon. The woman who didn't pedicure was making fun of myself and others in the shop in Vietnamese. The gesturing, looks and laughter from her colleagues made the few of us getting pedicures uncomfortable . She cut my feet twice to the point they were bleeding, and did it apologize. Don't let the older looking woman who has a perpetual sour look on her face work on you. read more
