Tech was kind. But after I got home and really looked at my pedicure together my French manicure is uneven and attention to detail was just not there. My heals are still rough and I'm just disappointed. I spent 90.00 for the biggest package. I've had the same package 3 times with 3 different techs and each time it's not been the same. I have gone to this salon for years, close to 7 years. For pedicures, I have no complaints. Excellent, clean, salon. And the service is always great. If I was going to give a rating for their pedicures, 4 stars no doubt. For manicures, I have not had the same luck. I get my nails done on a regular basis but not usually in Muncie. I went to T Nails to get a full set. The shop was very clean. The only issue that I seemed to have was the wait time. I arrived at the nail shop around 2:30 p.m. on a Thursday and didn't leave until around 6:15 p.m. I wasn't in a hurry so this was not a huge deal to me. Looked this place up on Yelp and due to the reviews decided to give it a try. Upon walking in for our appointment I was met with toxic smelling fumes. Being pregnant, I contemplated leaving. However the owner was very accommodating, he sat us in the back and brought me a personal fan. He then turned on the vents. I'm not sure why these were turned off in the first place; especially during a pandemic. The woman doing my pedicure did not speak English. I asked for cool water as it was hot and humid out. She ran it cool but then changed it to hot again. When I asked her to do cold water, she decided to spray my leg with the scorching hot water and burned me. I don't think she meant to burn me. I think she was showing me it was hot as I don't think she understood me. She did an okay job on my pedicure but considering the luxury prices, I was expecting a luxury pedicure. Another lady did my manicure. Her station was near the grinding acrylics where the fumes were strong. I asked if we could please sit in the back where it was easier to breathe. She was not happy with this. Not sure if this is why I received the WORST MANICURE of my life!! She filed my nails round. I prefer square with round edges (the shape I came in with). I asked if she could square them a bit and make them even lengths. She was not understanding, even though she spoke English - so I filed one of my nails to show her. Instead of fixing the others, she started buff "shining" my nails. She did a terrible job. There was no shine, no consistent shape and no cuticle trimming, oil, etc. When she "finished" I picked up the tools and filed my nails, buff shined them, lotioned and applied cuticle oil. I paid for a $20 manicure that I did myself. Had I been by myself I would've said something but because I didn't want to embarrass my mother-in-law, I just paid. However, I will never go back and I do not recommend this salon. read more

I really appreciate how they are practicing safety and social distancing. You have to make an appointment (no walk-ins), wear a mask, sit every other chair, etc. BUT they're not using the dry stations and bringing little fans to your toes while you sit in a different chair. The nail tech assured me that my toes were dry even though it hadn't been very long and she removed my foot covers and put my street shoes back on. As soon as the shoes were on, I felt the polish slide off and stick to my shoes. I had to drive home with my toenails stuck to the top of my shoes. My pedicure was completely ruined and my nails looked worse than when I went in. I appreciate the safety measures, but please make sure the nails are dry!! read more

We came here 3 years ago and they did amazing I came back last year for graduation nails. My sister and I decided we'd go and get our nails done last Sunday . When we got there there was no wait time we were helped immediately we both had simple designs which we were told they couldn't do . And for the prices that's disappointing. So my sister only be 11 we took 3 minutes to find her something different as we weren't prepared because LAST time they did a complex design on our nails .. the man who helped my sister was amazing he made her feel comfortable and did her nails perfectly worth the 50$.. the man who did my nails on the other had didn't make my time comfortable or enjoyable I asked for the pointy nails with a picture provided as he started doing my nails he got acrylic ALL over my fingers and didn't bother to wipe it off as he was shaping the nails I asked if he could make them more sharp as he was making them more An almond shape he told me no he couldn't so i just went with it . He started buffing my nails and it hurt so badly like almost unbearable it felt like he was ripping each nail off I said it was painful and he didn't acknowledge what I said . When he was using the tool ti shave them down he cut every one of my fingers . Didn't say sorry or anything finally we get to the color as I put my hand in the light to set it my finger hit the towel when I took my hand out he was mad that a hair got on the nail and instead of removing it he painted over the hair .. checking out he told me my nails were 70$ and they're just not even good . The nails on my left hand are perfect except for the design but my right hand is lumpy and flat and all the nails are longer then my other hand the underneath of my nails feel like sand paper and I'm just not happy with my nails and I hate complaining I tried waiting it out but it's only Thursday Ans I already have a nail lifting. I wanted to go and get a refund but reading other reviews discouraged me. read more

First visit: March 2019 Had a great experience! Very clean nail salon. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and waited for maybe 5 minutes and got 2 pedicures and a full set done in no time. Where do I begin? I picked out gel nail polish for my toes& specifically said gel nail polish on toes and nails & this lady puts on regular nail polish, the pedicure turned out fine the nails and eye brow wax are the main issue here. There was no brushing or grooming of my eyebrows just a couple swipes of wax and she was done and there was no change to my eyebrows. Also, the gel manicure was a disaster, bumpy and bubbly, I asked the lady if she could fix it and she filed nail polish off and was done. First off, my friend (green nails) got her gel manicure done in 10 min and mine took 45. The gel is see through and she completely botched the length. Not paying any attention to the cuticles. As for mine (pink nails) I requested the simplest design and it looks like a 5 year old did it. I told her to just wipe the design off but she literally told me no and put a top coat on. They have OK service, but every time I make an appointment, I walk in at my appointment time and have to end up waiting very long lengths of time. For example, my appointment was at 10:30 and it was well after 11 that I even was helped. This is frustrating when you have a schedule throughout your day. Not very efficient because of this. The workers are nice though, just half still cannot speak English so it's hard to communicate what you need from them through one translator. read more

I went here for the first time on the Tuesday before Valentine's day. I loved the people working their and after, my acrylic nails looked great! The downfall was that not even 24 hours later a nail of mind popped off. I went and got it redone and it was free! Although that was upsetting, stuff happens. WELL then throughout the same week (4 days after I got them done) 3 more nails fell off! Usually my acrylic nails stay on for ATLEAST 2 weeks. Very disappointed and upset with this salon. read more

Used MMA to do a full set on me. Couldn't believe it you can smell the difference when they file the mma acrylic. I made sure they were properly removed before my nails were completely destroyed. The girl took this mma acrylic jar unmarked off another station even though there was acrylic sitting at our table. Mma is illegal to use on nails. I will never return here. Mma has a strong chemical fruity smell when being applied. Which sometimes over all the nail chemicals if busy might be hard to notice. When filed it will smell like cat piss this will be more noticeable when you get a fill in. Just two sets of nails using mma will badly damage the natural nail. Jus one set made mine paper thin. read more

They where supper busy given it is a week before Christmas but they didn't rush my appointment. My only complaint is that for acrylics $40 is WAY to much! I am a ball state college student, and originally from Indianapolis. Scheduled an appointment for 2:30 to ensure I would have time to get my nails done before work. Went in on time and sat for over 40 minutes without being taken care of while the employees continued to schedule appointments for 3 and 3:30 and took 4 people ahead of me. Really disappointed with the service here. When I stood up to leave and told them I would not have time to get my nails done before work a woman left in the middle of someone else's pedicure (without washing her hands) and offered to start my nails. Every single time i have tried going here, my nail has broke. Every other place i've been too, my nails dont't break. I get dip powder and it chips every single time. Also i thought you go there to get your nails done, they don't even take my polish off every time, they make me keep scrubbing my nails and soaking them till the polish is off. I have been several times, but I will be trying somewhere else. The pedicure is okay and consistent. The padding on the chairs is worn so it gets uncomfortable. You have to specifically ask to have your nails cut shorter otherwise they will just be shaped. The scrub/massage aspect of all the pedicure options is almost non-existent. (I have tried all the pedicure options listed.) In particular, do not bother with the hot stone massage option. The stone is lightly moved across your legs. It was a waste of time and money.
