I am use to a bit more pampering since I live and California and my nail does things a little different, but over all they do a nice job. *They are following Muncie's COVID rules too, an offer masks $1 if you don't wear your own when you arrive. Nail Fever is my grandma's go to nail salon in Muncie and the ladies are super nice. My full set of nails looks lovely and toes look good too. I was a little disappointed in my pedicure because it felt rushed and usually everywhere else I go there is a callus treatment or scrub added to the basic pedicure but these were very basic. I think I'll ask next time to see if they offer more add ons for their pedicures. ( so that's why only four stars) read more

Honestly, this would have been a 1 1/2 star rating, but Quinn/Lindsay made my experience awesome and the price was right! Star bump for her! Located in the Northwest Plaza area, this is a small nail service shop typical of what you have come to expect of pop-up nail shops -- masked staff who barely acknowledge you when you walk in, 'massage' pedicure chairs, yada yada yada. We went at 5pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. Hmmmm... My friend had a gift certificate, so while in town to visit I agreed to tag along for a pedi myself. Now, this is not the cleanest spot, they do not the best polish selection, and they are DEFINITELY not the friendliest staff (aside from Lindsay)... but Lindsay (her 'business name'--real name is Quinn) was just the sweetest thing. She had more energy than the other 3 staff combined and was funny to boot. Pedi with hand-done french toe tips was $25. If I am ever back in Muncie and in need of a pedi, I will call to see if Lindsay is available. If not, I will absolutely go elsewhere. read more

I hate complaining about any service and understand everyone has bad days but these are the worst nails I've ever gotten. I just got a fill and the shape from my previous nails were completely ruined and uneven. I kept having ask for them to be filed more. The length is inconsistent with each nail as is the shape. They did my toes under the nail desk. I had my foot in the lady's lap while she painted then my bare foot on the carpet under the gel light. The toes look okay but I will be going to a different salon in the morning to get my nails removed and a new set put on. read more

Nail fever is awesome and cheap for the work they do! I came in with acrylics from a previous nail salon I had went to and Nail Fever fixed my nails! I had hated the shape of the nails and not to mention the other place had such rude service. The workers at Nail Fever helped me pick out colors and made an attempt to converse with me. I ended up with color changing polish and I love it. In the end, I came out with pretty acrylics and a happy customer. I'll be back to this place for sure! read more

I don't live in Muncie but was visiting and needed my nails done. My cousin recommended this place. The ladies were all very nice. I was getting gel nails. To remove an old set requires soaking nails in acetone. When I had to put my nails in a communal bowl of acetone, I should have stopped there and left. There were all kinds of colors swirling in that bowl. My previous set was done with a new type of material and was difficult to remove. She did a good job getting it all off. My nails looked good - for two days. I had them done on a Friday and by Sunday, the polish was coming off of the tips of my nails. It is now Wednesday and I am going to have to pay to have my nails done again. 5 days. I did no housework or anything. I was on vacation. Be warned. read more

My roomate told me she had a great experience here so a friend & I went to get pedicures. We normally go back home an hour because we trust places there a bit more but we couldn't wait. I got a gel pedicure, wasn't told a price or shown a menu so I wasn't sure what to expect. The nail tech tried ripping off my previous gel with a tool, then gave up and took me from the pedicure seat to her manicure station. She didn't wipe off the dust from filing and painted over it causing bumps in the polish. She had my bare feet sitting on the floor (carpet) under the gel light. No sugar scrub, massage, anything standard or expected like that. I sat at a manicure station, had to lift my leg onto her knee so she could paint, then had my feet on the bare floor. Felt super dirty, not relaxing and the result was awful. $40 for a gross experience and crappy looking nails that I had to attempt to fix at home. She also filed halfway through painting which messed up the polish and she just covered it with more polish. Worst pedicure to date and I would urge everyone to NOT go here. (I would've asked for it to be fixed but this place had no hope and i just wanted to get out as soon as i could.) read more

Worst place ever. First of all the place looks super outdated. Second, you're better off bringing your own polish because their selection is something to be desired. The lady who took care of me was polite but did a horrible job with my pedicure. She asked me if I wanted my toe nails short and I said, "yes." However I at least expected her to ask me if I wanted them square or round but she went ahead and made them round without asking. I didn't realize at the time but when I got back to my sister's dorm I noticed she did not paint my toes completely. Some nails had polish only covering 3/4 of the way. I needed a manicure as well but after that experience I decided to wait until I got back to NJ. read more

While my appointment was a while ago, this was by far my worst nail experience. Not only were they just not friendly, but this place is not clean!!!! I do not like leaving bad reviews but I'm worried someone will get an infection. When getting my pedicure, the woman doing the service brought over a plastic shower caddy with her full of her tools. Now this is a problem because she tried to clip my nails with used utensils. Seeing as it is easy to clip someone's cuticle and make them bleed, a salon SHOULD be using new utensils on everyone, that comes in a sterile package. Anything used on more than one client needs to be sterilized, but anything that could puncture the skin should be brand new. The shaped I asked for was done horribly, and she yelled at me for asking for my shape after she asked the length I wanted, which has never been an issue anywhere else. Do not go here read more

Nikki was very quick, she did a great job of asking my preference for shape and length and helped me decide on a color when I couldn't pick just one. They aren't the most up to date salon cosmetically, but they did an awesome job and got a repeat customer. read more

This may not be the most stylish salon, but I don't care about paying for stylish as long as it is clean, which this salon is. I have gone here for over 2 years and I have always come out satisfied with the pedi or fill-in I received. I am always acknowledged when I walk in. You have to realize that some of the "warm and fuzzies" that you may get elsewhere is pretty much fake only to get you to keep coming back. Prices are very reasonable. You want a fancy salon, go to one and pay those prices. read more

I have been getting my nails/toes done here for 10 years. They are very friendly and do a great job. My nails always look awesome and my acrylics hold up beautifully for 2-3 weeks. I've found they have a great selection of high quality polishes such as OPI. They also give great suggestions on colors if you're having trouble deciding. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I have a favorite nail salon I always go to, but they were closed because on this particular day (a couple of weeks ago) it snowed a lot! So I was looking for some other place that was open and this was the only place I found open. I told the lady that I wanted my nails thin (which is what another nail salon told me to tell people that do my nails) I don't like my nails thick & looking fake & want them to look as natural as possible! She understood and started doing her thing, problem his she did them thick like I had asked her not to! So I asked her to just file a few that were extremely bad (didn't ask her to do all 10 which actually needed to be done) she did but you could tell she wasn't to happy about it! Then she asked if I wanted them square or rounded. I told her rounded. So she starts filing my nails (rather sloppily & harsh with the nail file) Instead of doing them rounded she does them to a point! Then she asks me "Like this" and I said well can you file them down to where they are more rounded and not to a point? Then she got really mad and said "Well then why don't you just tell me how you want them then!" Which is what I was doing since obviously she didn't know how to do them well enough on her own! When I went to my car I realized that she had even put on several of my white tips crooked so I had to file my nail crooked to make it less noticeable-extremely sloppy! After that I didn't want to argue or anything so I just paid her (even gave her a tip though she didn't deserve one) and left & went home & filed them myself then when it was time to get them filled I went to Best Nails where I know they won't mess my nails up & they fixed them for me! read more
